  1. Sorry...I don't buy it. We were involved in a money making, people abusing cult...you can stick your head in the sand and "focus on the positives" all you want...but you are only fooling yourself. It's not the "good times" that were significant...it was the "behind the scenes abuse" that was rampantly taking place that hurt many many people. The "positives" that you refer to were the bait that sucked us into an abusive situation....and you suggest that we ingnore that reality of what they actually did to us?...are you mad?
  2. Oh yeah...for sure! I would be disapointed if I didn't make their "possessed" list... ...and that's because I don't march to the beat of a dead cult leader. I have questioned their doctrines and have found them insufficient for the reality of life that I see. They formulate and postulate and pontificate...and the bottom line is that twi was dead wrong and so are these guys...and by the way, if young Vic's name was Harvey Schmaltz...would he have any following at all?... C'mon young Vic...why not register here and look us in the eye...if you can.
  3. An observation...With the multiplicity of offshoots, the thing that stands out to me is that each of these offshoot leaders see themselves as "mini mogs"...with the death of Wierwille and the subsequent failures of Martindale, there was a mad scramble to form their own "ministries" and grab for all the exwayfers they could...unity?...everyone coming together?...not on your life! Each one of these mogsters wanted to be the big bananna in charge of their "own thing"... THAT's what they learned from Vic...and they cover it up with a veneer of false humility and recycled, religious crap. ...and of course now...they all want to lay claim as the "true" continuation of Vic's "ministry"....C'mon boys, it's time for a "check up from the neck up"...doncha think?
  4. As Bob Dylan once said..."I'll stand on his grave til' I'm sure that's he's dead"...
  5. I think that about sums it up... Like the phoenix rising from the ashes, Victor Paul F** king Wierwille is back in the game...the nightmare lives on...it's a new day with a young Vic...in 10 years time, thousands will flock at the young prophets feet...PATOOIE!!! ...I say it's time to add this bunch to the official chit list and give em the business...
  6. I suppose that you could consider this kid to be the "ultimate byproduct" of his grandfather's con job... Born with the name VPW and raised in one of the splinter groups, young Vic came of age... ready for this challenge...ready to fulfill the "prohesy"...ready to regurgitate granpa's errors and carry on the legacy of the "spiritual green beret"...with the same tired slogans and manipulation tactics, the "sowers"...or "sewers" (take your pick), reach out with an ebola like determination to infect all those around them. Perhaps the local officials in Mississipi would be interested to know some the "background" on the Wierwille family?
  7. On Sept 7th, according to some link that I read hereabouts, Vic jr is starting his own "Sowers" program (which happens to have the same way corps objectives) in the state of Mississipi! any thoughts on the subject?
  8. ...I'm a skeptic and a thinker...no leader or motivator here folks... :)
  9. Only 5 more days (Sept. 7th, 2008) until wierwille jr kicks off his new way corps program..."sowers"... ...shall we start the countdown?...maybe if we are vigil, we will see snow on the gaspumps.
  10. I remember uncle scary quite well...people were hauling boxes of vintage albums from the 60's and 70's...books by Vonnugut, Ginsgurg and Kerouac were pitched into the flames of twi censorship with the promise of "now you're thinkin' right" just on the horizon...bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of a drunken womanizer... and uncle scary?...Harry Wierwille reminded me of the dirty old old man who used to live down the street and watch the children walking past his house...my personal experiences with him left me rather cold.
  11. Evan!...Haven't seen you in awhile...How are you my friend? ...Now back to our regularly scheduled program...
  12. Yeah Jim, I am. I've carved out a life for myself that includes quality relationships, a peaceful cabin in the woods, my dogs and a job that I enjoy and pays the bills...I am thankful for all that I have and all that I am... ...and in the meantime, I will continue to warn people about the dangers of getting involved with a cult called twi...
  13. Maybe that was my problem...I never let their "forbidden list" interfere with what I wanted to do... ...but I left in 1987...before king okie put the hammer down.
  14. I agree wholeheartedly. Religious interference has a track record for impeding the advances of science. From Galileo being under house arrest for declaring the earth to be round...to stem cell research. In my opinion, religious superstition is an enemy of objective science.
  15. The shortest joke I can think of is...hmmm... ...Hillary wept?
  16. I used to wonder why in the world king okie went off the deep end with this aos stuff...the production, the costumes, the lurid little dancers... ...and then one day, it dawned on me. okieboy was nothing more than a dumb jock. He knew he would never contribute to mankind with his intellect or research abilities, thus he did the only thing he knew how to do...turn Christianity into an athletic event...and he would be the chosen one to lead the way. The man in the leotards screwing other men's wives would now take the place of the absent Christ...HE was the center piece of the production...the "minister"...the protector of gawds people, standing in the gap...wearing a Home Depot apron...no wait, that came later.
  17. Happy birthday my dear friend of 47 years... "Here is a taste of the great rumrunners, ships that sailed on the velvet harbor, crews that broke the jug and poured the bloodlike flowing rum upon the sand" -Robert Hunter
  18. They sure did Oak...and all that coming from a guy who simply stole other people's work and passed it off as his own "research"...Vic loved playing the role of the great scholar...I think the only thing he ever "researched" were all the cute young girls walking around.
  19. I opt for "laugh myself to tears"...Wasn't it enough that he was the mog?...he had to become Aquaman too.
  20. I agree with George...I was in twi from the time I was 24 until I was 37...a lot of guys were planting roots, making investments and developing their careers during those years...me? I was on the yellow brick road, off to see the wizard...
  21. How about...allowing the person who wishes privacy to set up their own private forum and invite whom they want?
  22. Tom Waits..."Ruby's arms" my eyes tear up every time I hear it.
  23. Ha!...The rock of ages!...Where people would pay $25 to get in so that they could then provide a free work force for Vic. ...of course, it all went to hell when king okie started dancing in his tights...next thing you know...HOMOS have infiltered twi and kids are having sex orgies in tent city!... ...time for the holy purge.
  24. Standing in the gap... ...With all due respect to those with noble visions of being a "Christian soldier", standing for God's people...I think that twi used this phrase to lather people up with bull sh *t. Standing in the gap?...I think this phrase evokes thoughts of noble action taken selflessly for the benefit of others...HA HA HA HA HA! Nothing could be further from the truth. These scoundrals did not stand in the gap, they stood on our shoulders in order to elevate themselves...and then used that phrase for the purpose of promoting their own self importance. In hindsight, it was pretty pathetic. ...and yes, I believe that twi led people away from knowing Christ.
  25. Double?...I'd be happy if I were payed back even. no dice...
