  1. I'm waiting for someone to post a video of king okie leaping through the air with his Aquaman costume on... C'mon now, somebody must have it...and THAT would be the worst dancer ever...
  2. Hi John...welcome to the greasespot cafe... Interesting to see a professional stick his head in here and look around...I'm sure there are many folks here who can use your service...Have you met ****** yet?....
  3. ...I've had dreams that would make the hair on your neck stand up and your blood pressure to rise...Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends...come inside come inside...sorry, I lost it for a minute there. :)
  4. nyuk, nyuk nyuk... The 3 stooges, starting a cult, fake healings...hmmm, you been eating pizza with anchovies after midnight?
  5. Funny stuff...a typical twi presentation. I noticed on the stage there was a sign saying..."present truth" I think their "present truth" was about as pathetic as the dancing was...

Gov. Strickland of Ohio just announced that there are about 2 million people in Ohio who still do not power. I also heard that fema centers are now opening in Houston, distributing food and other needs...

I live an hour southeast of Columbus, Ohio and my power just now came back on...it's been off for about 20 hours. Yesterday we had winds of 50-60 miles per hour all day long and there are still thousands and thousands of people with no electricity just in the Columbus area... My heart goes out to our fellow greasespotters in Texas...

I lived in Houston for 17 years...I have many friends and even some family there. ...There are 4 million people there!!! My mind is boggled at the damage that has happened there...there's a LOT of people who are going to be out of food soon...this is truly devastating.

    The WAG of Ike

I taked to my nephew today who lives 10 miles west of Houston...he's one of the lucky ones who still has power...but he described the devastation that he saw all around him. I lived in Houston for 17 years and hearing about the massive flooding at certain intersections, the glass buildings downtown being blown out, the damage everywhere... gives me quite a mind picture...and the damage in Galvaston is heart breaking. My favorite eating place there was a place that sat at the end of a pier over the water and had a glass floor...cold boiled shrimp, gumbo and cold beer with Bob Marley playing in the background...today it is a pile of shattered lumber scattered over the beach... :(
  10. I spent 13 years in twi. 1975 to 1987...was a WOW and in the corps...The last year I was involved, was a year of enlightenment and change...an evolution of thought. I began to realize that twi doctrine was wrong in many places and I began to hear stories of sexual escapades of top leaders... ...after the famous clergy meeting I knew it was time to leave twi. I knew that I was right and they were wrong...walked away and never looked back...twi doctrine seemed to drop off very quickly for me...my perspective now is quite different.
  11. It would seem that there are many former twi leaders who never found their way out of the Emerald city... They learned their lessons well from the cornfield huckster and have carved out their own little kingdoms, comprised of followers who needed a cult after twi hit the skids...they have learned how to make a living out of the "God business" and they have, like Wierwille and Martindale, gone off the "deep end" with their own egos and self importance...
  12. I don't think JP has to come to the Greasespot to hear the sordid stories about his father...I would guess that he could probably make your hair stand on end with what he probably knows... There's a lot of people who believe that Wierwille's teachings were correct in spite of Wierwille's devilish lifestyle...even though there is more than sufficient scripture to denounce these false teachers and to pay no heed to them... So go figure...just another splinter group...an offshoot of an offshoot...only THIS time the leader bears the name of the abusive drambuie guzzler hisself! ...and tell me again, what are his qualifications? ...and who are they accountable to?...Oh yeah, I remember now...they're accountable to no one. Sound familiar?
  13. Was OJ a murderer?...The determining factor as to whether or not it is a FACT that OJ committed murder is not what his public record says but whether or not he committed the murder. Public records could be wrong or incomplete...if a tree falls in the forest, does it really fall if there is no public record of it? I don't think there is anyone here who is making acusations that Wierwille was convicted in a court of law...is there? If my next door neighbor walked over and punched me in the mouth...and I did nothing legally about it...there would be no public record of it...BUT it would still be a fact the he punched me in the mouth...of course, it wouldn't be a fact to WhiteDove because there would be no public record of it and he would be demanding proof that it indeed happened. This type of thinking seems counterproductive and circular to me.
  14. No thanks...I'll stick to Groucho...I like the name Groucho. :)
  15. I can almost hear "Beautiful Ohio" coming through the speakers... All right everyone, open your blue song books to "I'm the sucker who gives them money"...Vic would be proud.
  16. ..."and little activity"...I think that speaks volumes. How can people be motivated to follow a cult without a true cult leader?...I mean, Wierwille was charismatic and even king okie could be a firey speaker...but Rosie? ...and make no mistake, twi started out as a personality cult and today they are "clouds with no water" living off of the assests of years past...an organization that maintains it's tax exempt status as a religious organization in order to provide lavish lifestyles for the aging ogres that still sit in power. Glad to hear folks are still waking up and leaving...hope they stop by and check out the cafe.
  17. Sounds like a rather detached and cold point of view...I suppose if you don't really know any of these people then perhaps you are merely commenting from an "academic" point of view. When you have personal experiences with people, you discover that some are more trust worthy than others...perhaps, for you, you need "legal proof" before you draw any conclusions...some of us are more realistic and draw conclusions based on the integrity of those who give first hand testamonies and their motivations for speaking out. (Are they still in the "God business" trying to make money?) and the voluminous amount that all paint the same picture...Every person's story here is like another piece of a jigsaw puzzle...when considered as a whole, the conclusion should be self evident and obvious. Only someone with a "different agenda" would disagree...IMHO.
  18. I've been glued to the live feed from the Associated Press all day...I'm sure it will be coming across shortly... ...and yeah, that's a valid question George...does anyone know the genders of this group of 12? If they truly follow in Cornfield Vic's footsteps, it could become rather dicey. "The girls of Sewers"...good grief! Maybe we could turn the grandson of Ted Patrick loose on them...
  19. I'm not trying to prove a point...I'm merely commenting on what is self evident to me...believe what you like, I really don't care.
  20. Shouldn't "we" believe?...I didn't know I was part of a collective. Actually, each of us makes a personal decision as to who is credible and who is not...it seems obvious to me but apparently not to everyone else...and that's fine. I don't need a consensus to express what I believe to be true. ...nor do you Whitedove...you can continue to demonstrate to all of us, your very special form of "logic"...
  21. It's real simple Whitedove...as plain as the nose on your face...sorry you can't see it.
  22. No Mike...nothing you say frightens me in the least...the words you speak are the words of a "dufus"...look that up in your concordance.
  23. Hey...if you want to tell me about medical science, how to build a canoe or how to build a house...I'm all ears! ...but if you want to tell me God's will for MY life...take a hike...been there, done that, got the Tshirt. If any of these guys really want to live a Christian life...tell them to love and help people without getting a paycheck or self recognition from it...
