  1. My peeeeeople...you're my kids! For me to be here with you and you here with me...my old heart just bubbles with the renewed mind of Christ in you, the hope of glory and the sonship rights that God, the giver, has given to my spirit and inspired my mind to bless you and walk circumspectly operating all nine all of the time to the end that I own one side of the street and am thinking about buying the other side so that I can be an ambassador for Christ, drinking drambuie and knowing what is available while my wants and my needs are parallel and I am believing for God's best to renew your minds like the old violin in the master's hand, like a reformation of the pedangta texts, walking by the spirit and, like the Yak twig and a dog returning to it's own vomit...being God's best for the household!
  2. My guess is that Mr Lynn would like to be considered as the "poppa stiffy" of this splinter group... Afterall, his "father in the word" would be proud of him...that...and 99 cents will buy you bag of gummy worms.
  3. ...and who could ever forget David Nobel, author of the Marxist Minstrels...this is the guy who went on about the Beatles being communist infiltrators or some such nonsense...I thought it was bogus when I first heard it...but Drambuie Vic thought the guy was great... ...snow on the gaspumps indeed!
  4. C'mon Rumrunner, don't be so bashful...tell us how you REALLY feel. ...but he's right Steph...he hit the nail right on the head. Your friend is involved with a very parasitic and abusive cult. The people at "twig level" are usually really good folks and it's easy to get sucked in. The people at the top are snakes... If she gets in deep enough, she may insist that you get involved also or she will be pressured to disassociate herself from you...sad but true. IF this happens, try not to take it personally...I know that's hard but she is under the influence of "something else"...almost as if she is hooked on drugs...she needs help in my opinion...try to be patient and just be a good friend as always...let her know you care and don't pressure her. ...best of luck. ...Oh yeah, if you can lead her to this website...it could make a real difference.
  5. Nice to see this thread brought back... Trancechat, Waydale, the billboard, (Orange Cat where are you?)...I remember it all as if it were yesterday. A lot of people have come and gone...a lot of folks have worked hard and contributed much...and the pay off is that Waydale and GreaseSpot Cafe have helped thousands of people. Thanks are owed to extwi and to Pawtucket...and to many others as well. ...What a long strange trip it's been.
  6. Good analogy... When I left twi, the folks who had been my "friends" were afraid to associate with me, afraid to look me in the eyes, afraid that they might get "possessed", afraid that they would be shunned by other twi members, afraid, afraid, afraid... Fear was the motivating factor... there were a few exceptions. My conclusion is that twi stood between people's relationships with each other. Like everything else...twi filtered reality and redefined it...the people who had taught that fear was wrong, used it to manipulate and control people. They were cowards and phonies.
  7. I'll give you credit for taking the high road, sacrificing a little cash in order to put Vic's ripoff books where they belong...did you consider a book burning ceremony? You could have at least cooked a few weiners on a stick... ... :)
  8. "Dr" wierwille...as phoney a title as anything I've ever seen...the guy was a drunken womanizer who lived in the eyes of other people. He was as much a "Dr." as Moe howard was a brain surgeon...get real.
  9. Bob Moynahan's arrogant face glassy eyes the "blue book" name tags "night owls" king okie's forehead Wierwille's glass eye
  10. I'm afraid that I'm a Johnny come lately to this thread and I just now watched the video...Good Lord in heaven..is this some kind of joke? I'll bet that Vic is spinning so fast in his grave that it's powering the fountain by now... gawd that's hysterical...and there's folks who still take them seriously?...har har har It's sick...the Coen brothers couldn't have done any better.
  11. I recall that the first half of my WOW year (Chicago), there was a NO drink limit for the first half of the year...the second half, they lightened up and gave us the 2 drink limit...my WOW brother (work like hell Mel) and I went out and got hammered in a neighborhood bar...it was great fun...
  12. Actually...it did sound a bit weird. "Weenie roast roommate"...I'm not gonna go there... ...it would be too easy...
  13. In the spirit of the kinder and gentler GreaseSpot...happy birthday...health, prosperity and peace unto you.
  14. ... still...I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy...
  15. Like so many other aspects of thought and action, Wierwille and Martindale set the example for gun play that was followed by a great number (not all) twi leaders. I believe that Vic's body guards were usually packing and the same for king okie...I believe this was fueled by the delusional self importance that they placed on their own lives...these "guys with the guns" were trained to believe that they were like secret service protecting the president...it was their job to protect the mog against the minions of hell...in other words, they were all whacko and capable of just about anything. ...and by the way, Geer wasn't the only "clergyman" carrying a gun at the famous clergy meeting...
  16. Boob and Doody Moneyhands get a trip to Europe followed by settling in at their retirement home in beautiful Gunnison... ...is this their reward for keeping their mouths shut and maintaining the twi lies?
  17. ...and isn't that the reason why so many people post here?... Waybrain is the operative word that is used to describe people who think the way that twi taught them to think...
  18. Waybrain...when someone abandons their own common sense, logic and experience and replaces it with the mindless adherence to twi doctrine...when they pay more heed to a twi leader's opinion than their own.
  19. This mission, this underlying theme, this defining statement is the reason that I have been involved with the GSC for as long as I have. It's also the reason why I was involved with "Waydale" and before that "Trancechat". I've made a number of good friends here over the years and I enjoy the "social gathering" aspect of the gsc...there's a variety of things here to hold your interest...BUT... the bottom line for me is my desire to expose the truth about twi and the damage they have caused to thousands of people's lives. ...Fair enough.
  20. I don't think there is a problem with having a few guidelines and rules...quite frankly, I think they are needed. ...and I appreciate all the effort that goes into this place by so many people. Over the years, the GSC has evolved. Personally, I don't think I would be so accomidating towards pro-twi attitudes...but I don't own this website and it's not my call... I suppose my main concern is not that we have to follow rules, that's fine (and needed)...my concern is to see the truth about an insideous cult exposed and not watered down in favor of political correctness or politeness. It's my opinion that revealing the truth about twi should be the priority and not trying to "meet the need(s) of you and me and everyone else"...it's nice to have a social gathering place where civility is the order of the day...but that's not really why I come here... ...peace.
  21. I'm sorta like ex-10 when it comes to the technical stuff...although I DO appreciate that Rumrunner is posting his info... as for me, I went through a hurricane in Houston before (Alicia)...and it's no fun. As far as I'm concerned, if a person chooses to stay or if they simply cannot leave...they should all be given every effort to rescue them...No one should be penalized because they chose to stay.
  22. Looks like I'm the "some people" that Linda refers to concerning the "snide remarks/implications"...I guess everyone's sense of humor evaporated with the new rules... I suppose that I will have to be more mindful in the kinder and gentler greasespot cafe...no more shall we criticize anyone who defends an abusive cult leader...it would seem that the term "Wierwille apologist" is no longer permitted to be used (even though it is an accurate and gramatically proper term in every sense)... ...I know, I know...we don't want to offend anyone. We want to be a place that is user friendly for anti twi and pro twi alike! WOW (no pun intended)...now that's a revelation to my soul! ...wait a minute...am I being sarcastic?...oh oh, that's not permitted any longer either, is it? I hear the footsteps of the mods!....
  23. ...Oh yeah, the new rules!...I suppose I better go read them...

I'm relieved to know that you are ok...so good to see everyone pulling together in a time of need...
