  1. Welcome sunballer...pull up a stool at the counter, the coffee's hot.
  2. When Waydale shut down, Pawtucket stepped to the plate and started GreaseSpot... What has been the result?...Between Waydale and GreaseSpot, Twi has been hit HARD...LCM left in disgrace, thousands of people have come to an understanding of what REALLY happened with this cult. Twi has been reduced to a small group that has circled the wagons in hopes of surviving...we have accomplished much good I think. ...and yes, this place has evolved into a social gathering place that offers many things other than cult discussions...I think it's viable and worth continuing.
  3. I work in a field that, up until recently, I thought was "recession proof"...I manage a retail store that sells gas, cigs and beer...I think no matter how tough things get, people will still be buying those things... ...but then...I agree with George when he says we are in unchartered waters. The whole shebang could collapse like a house of cards. The auto industry is sucking the pipe, our financial institutions are going belly up, retail chains are going out of business faster than you can say "my credit card's no good anymore" I'm thinking of dusting off my Mal pack...
  4. As it turns out, Martindale was a blithering idiot. He dismantled the 3 biggest money makers that twi had...the pfal class, the wow program and the roa!...unbelievable! ...and then he goes into a homophobic rage and becomes hysterical...what?...he finally found out his wife was gay?...Is that why Eve became a lesbian? Good grief, he was accusing people of being gay that weren't gay!..."spiritual suspicion"?...what the f **k is that? Did he just make it up as he went along? ...and why did Vic choose this moron?...My guess is that Vic knew he was running a cult based on his own charismatic personality and he therefore, picked someone that was dynamic and charismatic. Had he selected Walter Cummins, over half the people posting here would still be going to twig. Vic knew it had no real substance...he was a con man. He tried to let the Okie in on the secret when he told him to "loosen up" in his sex life... but the Okie was too dumb to figure it out...he really thought he was Joshua!...when in fact he was the dancing Okie...Aquaman!

    A Poem

My name is Bertram I am a redneck All my friends, They call me Burt All my family From down in Texas Make their livin' Diggin' dirt Come out here to Californy, Just to find me Some pretty girls The ones I seen Gets me so horny Ruby lips N' teeth like pearls! Wanna love 'em all! Wanna love'em dearly Wanna pretty girl- I'll even pay! I'll buy 'em furs! I'll buy 'em jewelry! I know they like me Here's what I say: "I'm lonesome Cowboy Burt! Don'cha get my feelings hurt! Come on in this place 'N I'll buy you a taste 'N you can sit on my face- Where's my waitress?" .....Frank Zappa
  6. I seem to recall back in 1976 that we (my wow family) were informed that it wasn't "Christmas" anymore...we were now to refer to this pagan holiday as "Happy Household Holiday"...or as it became known as "Happy Ho Ho"... Somehow the idea of Christmas wasn't part of what Vic saw that night when snow fell on the gaspumps. The absent Christ's birthday would not be celebrated in the same way that lesser Christians celebrated it. It would be different...part of that elitist mindset that said "We REALLY know the truth, you just think you do...SCHMUCK!"...we couldn't hold on to their "traditions" now could we?...not without putting our own spin on it... ...it was all part of the effort to isolate us from the real world and indoctrinate us into their little cult world...a world where even Santa was marked and avoided.
  7. Wow...that's quite a story...glad you decided to post it here. Thank you and welcome to the GreaseSpot... Actually, I see that you joined over 2 years ago but you don't post that much....maybe you should post more?...just a thought.
  8. I would also like to extend season's greetings to the brethren of twi... May your money disapear as your integrity has and may your organization dissolve like a tissue in a sea of lava. May your false teachings come back to haunt you like an Alfred Hitchcock movie on acid and may your teeth fall out the day before Thanksgiving. My fondest desire is to see all of you sleeping in cardboard boxes, begging on the street...you are a scourge to personal faith and an insult to the intelligence. May you be publicly humiliated and may someone throw a shoe at you... ...season's greetings from Groucho...
  9. Merry Christmas one and all...I hope you all had a wonderful day of feasting and being with those you love.
  10. With 75% thinking it's still viable, I would strongly suggest that those who are computer savy enough and have the desire...step forward. It seems obvious to me that there is still a need for an ex-twi site.
  11. Every person is responsible for their own actions...I believe that there's a mental "line of demarcation" where people decide whether to "follow orders" or take the independant action of thinking and acting on their own accord. It took me 13 years to decide on my own that twi was bogus and it was time to move on. It took that long for me to gather the sufficient information to come to that decision. People will choose what they believe is the right thing...they may be right or they may be wrong...but the point is to DECIDE FOR YOURSELF. Too many people delegate that decision to others..."I will do what the mog tells me to do" syndrome...and that was what Wierwille banked on to achieve his "kingdom". He was a conman and we were the conned. Stayed too long?...if you were there for 5 minutes, it was 5 minutes too long.
  12. In my mind I draw a line between those who were sincere and those who knew it was a scam... For those who honestly thought they were doing God's will...I extend a blanket forgiveness. As far as I'm concerned, they get a free pass... ...The others...no dice. If you knowingly lied in God's name and abused people...screw you. Life is precious...to knowingly lead someone down a path that will change their future for the worse is a sin that I have no tolerance for. Wierwille was a monster as far as I'm concerned...
  13. I took the Blessings of liberty class...I was there at the roa when Hayes was the "big thing"... ...and yeah, he was duped like the rest of us. It seems that whoever came in contact with Wierwille had their careers "detoured", if not destroyed. Hayes was no exception. Maybe someone should E-mail him and invite him to post here? It might be interesting to hear his story.
  14. Ohio...There's not much snow but the temp is 17 below zero with the wind chill factor...colder than blue sh *t! When you walk outside, you're skin starts to ache. Makes me wonder why I left Texas.
  15. I think it's important for people who were involved to know this stuff...as life goes on, it's enlightening to understand the methods by which we were duped. Twi was a cult...plain and simple. ...it's my sincere desire to see twi dissolved as an entity and to see people liberated from their influence.
  16. As I recall, VP always enjoyed "locking on" to prospective "celebrities" in various fields...when he found out that Hayes was an aspiring politician, he jumped in with both feet. Hayes was a victim of the cult just like the rest of us...Although I don't agree with his "political perspectives", I am not out to bash him. His career speaks for itself...but nevertheless...sex organs in his hairline?...sorry, that just begs for comment.
  17. Reproductive organs in the hairline?...Maybe it was a blob of Brylcream that he hadn't worked in properly. I'm surprised that he never became a John Bircher.
  18. Don't worry...when you wake up, Wierwille will still be dead.
  19. Just for the record...VPW prophesied that his grandson would someday rise up and take his "ministry"...and now this punk thinks he's the ONE...good grief, when will this madness end? Everybody wants to be the "special ones"...twi, the splinter groups and now V2P2 with his resurrection of the waycorps training...the fact is, NONE of these morons are the "special ones"...they are all opprotunists, looking to get their ticket punched. Most of us found our way out of the twi maze...but there are some who were carried off by the flying monkeys and seem to be lost in the forest of the wicked witch... life is too short to spend it following "instant karma" and "holy men" who want your money...follow your heart and the things that are decent and have value...not these snake oil salesmen. Vic Jr...get a real job!
  20. So what is a minister?... I believe that a minister is someone who extends themselves to help others...not for self recognition but from a pure heart that genuinely empathizes...and cares. I won't exclude institutionalized clergy...as posted previously, there are some good ones and some bad ones... ...but each person has the potential in their lives to minister to others, if they have the heart for it...and I don't think that it has anything to do with religion...God, yes...religion, no.
  21. Listening to NPR this morning as they discuss the latest Ponzi scheme...and it occurred to me that the difference between a Ponzi scheme and what Wierwille did is that Wierwille never had to pay us back from our investment. Thus, he walked away clean with all the money...lying in God's name every step of the "way". The Way Onion?...sounds like a pretty good analogy to me. What twi called "feeding the babes with milk and then meat for the more mature believers"...was, in reality, duping the new people with kindness and then, once the hook was in, brow beating them into compliance with fear and guilt...the level of corruption intensified the further up the ladder you climbed...
  22. I would be straight forward...I'm sure that they still have "issues" but nevertheless, it sounds healthy to me to bring it to the surface and talk about it... ...maybe you could recommend the GreaseSpot to them?
