Twi is geared for the working class...If you have a job, come to twig and send us your money...if you're out of work and broke, we don't know you... It's a business...a pyramid scheme, a scam...what? You want compassion?...go to church. The millions they have invested will keep them living just fine until it's their turn for the marble orchard...they plan to sit on their assests and put on a "Christian show"...follow the money...

I remember numerous people who were mentally deranged that somehow found their way to twig or a larger meeting...(these folks were generally easy marks in regards to "producing numbers"...but they never had the money for the class)...I recall one woman in particular who was both elderly, obese and alone who came to one of my twigs...she would occasionally jump out of her chair, shake her fingers in the air and say "praise Jesus"...I thought it was fine entertainment but others got upset... ...there was another guy who came to my twig after getting out of a mental institution...he tried to set my house on fire in the middle of the night. I was fighting quite a spiritual battle as I ran across the lawn in my underpants... ...Ahhhh, the memories.

Ya gotta hand it to Wierwille...he's the slickest con man that ever took me. He made a ton of money, was adored by thousands and lived a hedonistic lifestyle that would make most people blush. He stole everything, originated nothing and strutted around like a king rooster...bedding down teenage girls and getting hammered on drambuie, he spoke with total arrogance and maliciousness. He spoke of love but his own insecurity propelled him into a life of narcissim and total disregard for others. Wierwille was to Christianity what Jeffery Dahmer was to gourmet dining.

Nice summation...the waycorps program was the "Youth for Hitler" program for twi... As far as "Christian education" it was a joke. If arseholes could fly, that place (Emporia) would have been an airport.

Here's the way I see it...When Vic told the story about the snow on the gas pumps, he KNEW he was lying...it never happened...it was pure bulls **t. Maybe when so many people believed, he became somewhat delusional...but he was a con man all the way. Being incredibly insecure, he absolutely reveled in the adoration he received...he was drunk before noon and had no qualms about grabbing a teenage girl for his evening's entertainment. What did he think?...He thought that he was brilliant for pulling it all off and providing himself with the ultimate hedonistic lifestyle. Wierwille was a master at playing the crowd...PT Barnum would have made him a partner...he was the Ron Pompeil of Christianity...and he KNEW it! Not many people with that kind of charisma are sociopathic enough to do what Vic did...he was truly twisted.

I agree wholeheartedly with Tzaia's remarks. Sense of entitlement indeed!...kings within their own kingdoms...the mog mindset...the head table syndrome...measuring success like any business would...sales, dollars, perks and their own lifestyle...footwashers? Servants? ministers?...HA! They are the bastard sons of VP Wierwille, those who seek self glory through their pretend humility. Those who seek profit from the pure message of Christ. Simon the sorcerer...When you see them coming, lock your doors and hide your daughters. Unfortunately, Wierwille's con lives on...thanks to those who had it "within them" to grab the money making whore by her ears and ride her into gloryland. They learned their lessons well.

At this point in my life, my concept of a "Christian life style" does not include financially supporting people who endeavor to make a living out of the "God business"... I have nothing against sincere folks who go to church and are trying to do the right thing...but I cannot tolerate those who work it like a business and are looking for ways to "bless your life" in order to generate revenue. I believe that a person's spiritual path should be a personal and private thing that should never be exploited by the self proclaimed "spokesmen of the Lord". I'd rather be like Alice and go down the rabbit hole alone...

What did I take wrong?...I QUOTED YOU!...Your statement implied that we are all in agreement that "God is our sufficiency"...did I misunderstand you?... All I am saying is...DON"T SPEAK FOR ME!...If you want to adhere to some arcane superstition, that's your business...maybe it gives you some comfort...but as for me, I'd rather be honest...imagine that.

I started a thread awhile ago about the "splinter business"...I think these guys are lazy lowlifes who have avoided finding a "real" job in favor of following their "fadder in da werd"...they set themselves up with a cushy existance at the expense of the naive and the gullible. Like Leonard Cohen wrote..."...everybody wants a box of chocolates and a long stem rose..." These c** k suckers take advantage of a person's quest and desire to know God by feeding them their filthy doctrines of "send me your money"...Every last one of them can kiss my arse.

Maybe if WE address some issues?...Are you assuming that we at GreaseSpot are all "likeminded" bible believers?... Is this a Christian website?...If God is our sufficiency, He's a done a .... poor job....or maybe it's MY fault because I didn't operate the law of believing properly?...barf.

Twinky...I wasn't talking about sincere folks who meet together in someone's house for Christian fellowship or prayer meetings or whatever...I was talking about those who learned the formula for starting a business...the God business that generates revenue through people's belief systems. I'm sure there are many ex twi folks who endeavor to lead good Christians lives...but there are others who feed their bellies and their egos by lording over and taking advantage of others...thanks to the example that Vic set.

Wierwille had this really slick way of predicting events AFTER they happened by claiming that "the father" had told him about it BEFORE it happened...and of course, he had to keep it quiet. These stories, oftentimes, were retold by glassy eyed followers who would claim that Wierwille foretold something... and by the way, he made a lot of money doing this.

Not only was Vic clueless of the coming of the internet, but his boy loy, when confronted with it, declared it evil... ...The so-called "revelation" that twi teaches and experiences is akin to WWF wrestling on tv...in other words, it's as phoney as it gets. Wierwille was the Ron Pompeil of religious hucksters and in the end, Wierwille's "revelation" was nothing more than another bullsh *t story that he could market. How much money did twi roll in from advanced classes? What? Are you kidding me? "God talks to me"...if you buy that one, you become putty in his hands...and the dollars roll in.

I must comment that I find a certain satisfaction out seeing the okie in that pic...wearing the apron... ...whether it's real or not, makes no difference...it represents his fallen state.I don't usually revel in someone else's misfortune, but I'll make an exception this time...Because of the way he treated so many people (including myself), I'm glad that he hit the wall harder than Mr MaGoo playing Jai Alai... ...C'mon Craig, what's the matter?...I guess you just didn't get enough out of the program.

If Vic the molester ever had revelation about the internet, he could have gathered some computer sharp shooters and beat Goggle to the punch... instead, the internet is the source today that exposes this scoundral. The only "revelation" that Vic ever got came out of a bottle of drambuie.

I was talking to Rumrunner one night and mentioned to him that we could easily start our own splinter group and start raking in the bucks...we both laughed and we both knew that it was true...any former member,( especially with corps experience) could put together a package and market it...start a website, put together some tapes and get your tax exempt, corporate splinter group on the road and moving... Call it..."The love of Christ truth ministries international"...sounds good...hmmmm, maybe a theological degree from some mail order outfit would help... ...of course we were joking over a few beers... ...makes me wonder about these guys who actually did it...and how they sleep at night.

I mean, why didn't Bruce simply join Finnagins group?...Oh, I get it...Vince didn't offer him a paycheck that was as good as starting his own thing...and besides, now Bruce can be the mog...what a deal. They learned their lessons well.

It seems that the thing Wierwille taught best was how to set up a tax exempt organization for the purpose of generating a tax free income... ...Bruce Mahone still believes in the law of believing? What's wrong with these people? Couldn't they find a real job? These splinter groups seem like tumors that keep popping up...Oh well, another reason to keep posting.

I,for one, am glad that it was poorly executed. I disagree that it could have been a good thing...If properly executed, it would have been a bad thing that was successful. The very premise and foundation from which the organization was based on was faulty and harmful. Law of believing??? I cannot overlook the destructive beliefs and practices of twi. Their product was bad. As others have said, Wierwille was raising up a sales force...not Christian leadership.

I'm not so sure that the veil of secrecy was SLOWLY removed...I think it happened rather quickly. When Vic croaked, everything unraveled. Wierwille kept it together with his charismatic personality...Martindale couldn't cut the mustard and it went down the toilet...rather quickly. ...within 2 years of the poops death, the vast majority had left or were leaving...Lcm was a buffoon.

It's hard to say how twi would view the practice of visiting graves...Old Vic made a point of being buried where people would come and visit...under a fountain for crying out loud...Twi should have the decency to respect other people's beliefs and pratices...if a grave site should not be visited, why is it even there? Why place a grave marker with words written on it if it is not to be read?... Memorializing and paying respect is a common practice amoung civilized people. Any so-called Christian organization should at the very least, acknowledge that and accomidate those who come to visit graves...otherwise, they are petty and offensive...just my opinion.

The spirituality of the way woods was an extension of the "Wierwille myth"...the snow on the gas pumps, etcetera... What it actually was...was a small area of woods in the middle of flat corn country...farmers would always leave a small area of woods alone for whatever reason...I've been in many woods in my time and there was nothing exceptional about this place...spiritually or otherwise. I thought that the campus of the University of Miami was "spiritual" when I walked around it all night doing LSD... ...so what is it boys and girls?...If I was a younger man, I would take a flame thrower to that place...

Not allowing people to visit graves...good grief! Why should this be a threat to them?...or is it out of pure mean-ness? How do they reconcile this policy with their purported Christian faith? The truth be told...Wierwille's "kids" have turned into vipers who devour each other. Mean spiritedness is the order of the day, I wonder if these people even pray anymore...

I first met Wierwille in 1975 in Buffalo, NY...until the time of his death, I probably had about a dozen different occasions that I spent with him, either one on one or in a small group of people... ...he attended my wedding as a guest, I sat and ate dinner with him 2 or 3 times, and had several one on one conversations...the times that I heard him teach to a crowd number in the dozens... It wasn't until after his death and I had left twi that I learned the ugly side of VPW...sure, I had seen him harsh and witnessed him really reaming out people...but the plagiarism, the sex, the lies, the severe abuse...learned about it all after I left. I didn't leave twi because of Wierwille, I left because of Martindale...I "perceived" rather quickly that king okie was a half wit leading us into a swamp... ...My personal opinion of Wierwille based on my experiences with him, both public and private, was that he was an extremely insecure man (always had to be the center of attention), an immoral man and a very charismatic man...a bad combination!
