  1. That's about as close as you're gonna get without getting the actual correct answer, so I'm giving it to you. John Tyler was born during George Washington's presidency. Harrison Tyler is John Tyler's grandson. No, not great great great grandson. Just grandson, as in, John Tyler, born in the late 1700s, was his Daddy's Daddy.
  2. [I don't know why I read WWI when George clearly wrote WWII. Getting my glasses checked].
  3. The man's NAME is a hint. Millions of schoolkids recite his name [first and last, not middle] unwittingly at least once a year. They don't know they're doing this because they're actually doing something else.
  4. Nope. Born in 1928. Pretty sure not a WWI vet. Probably too young for WWII. Which makes his claim to fame even more hard to fathom.
  5. But Ford was elected congressman, if I recall correctly. Unlike Herbert flipping Hoover
  6. Ok. Add "some poorextra stuntman tied to a cross and thrown over a waterfall"
  7. So at this point most of us forgot this thread was here, so I started a new one having forgotten the old one. Except it was my turn in the old one, too, so no harm no foul. Next clue: "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."
  8. Until X Nemesis was worse than III, by far. But II, IV and VI were the best of the original cast. III was the best of the odd numbered entries, including the next gen cast. Nemesis [X] was better than I and V, but not as good as III
  9. "You know when I was in school we used to sing it something like this..."
  10. Based on the novella "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption," which was neither a true story nor one that featured Rita Hayworth as a character.
  11. No. That's a horror movie. Stephen King is known for horror. This movie has, best of my memory, no supernatural elements
  12. I am going to play the "come on guys, this is not that difficult" card. The author of the original story is known for an entirely different genre of story. But fear not! This showed you can't keep him trapped in just one kind of story. The costar was the narrator. The costar was THE narrator. Good God, if that wasn't enough of a clue by itself.
