Allan or Anyone, Since leaving The Way, have you been in a meeting where there was T w/ I & P that wasn't run by an Ex-Way outfit?
-
I’ve been a regular at the Pentecostal church (Assembly of God) down the road for almost a year and the experience has made me more appreciative of VP’s teaching on tongues. The pressure to speak in tongues in the twelfth session is nothing compared to the craziness of a “Holy Ghost” meeting. At this church they are typically run by visiting evangelists and I usually go down for the altar calls because they’re sort of fun. I stand there speaking in tongues like a house afire to show my bonafides as a “pen tee costal.” One Sunday the old boy that ran the meeting was a slayer in the spirit and (just like VP said) he walked up and gave my forehead a shove. It didn’t take with me but when he put the move on the lady next to me she went down for the count.

You're welcome, Jerry. Thanks for giving it a try. -

oops - Danny - Sorry, it didn't register with me that you found out what program they used. I discovered that I was two versions behind in Adobe Reader. Version 7 makes paging down a lot quicker. -

A nit I need to pick with myself: In the opening post I should have said "electric" or "electrical" rather than "electronic" discharges. -

You are more than welcome, Danny. I can't tell from their website what program they used but it offers a way to contact them for questions. They have a "Pictures of the Day" index of more stunning images. -
"Thunderbolts of the Gods" is a ninety-some page monograph by David Talbott and Wallace Thornhill that attempts to explain ancient legends based on a theory that they can be explained by cosmic electronic (plasma) discharges. The monograph is available for free in three .pdfs which I'll provide below. If nothing else, the artwork is beautiful. If you do read it you'll notice that the text is often seperated by page-long sidebars. The sidebars may be all you'll want to read. Part 1 Part 2 Part 3

reikilady, Vonage is probably the biggest vendor. Sometimes the same thing that happens when a website is overloaded will happen with Vonage and callers will not be able to get through. Also, although there is no charge for long distance for the owner, since the hub may be over a hundred miles away, callers (even if they live next door) may get a long distance charge. Sometimes the reception is lousy but if you make a lot of long distance calls it's probably worth it. - You can have callers call you and then call them right back.

Just pray there's no heads down.

ex10, You haven't mentioned if the young fellow is sexually active. THAT does matter where his health is concerned. Besides the regular STDs and good old fashioned AIDS, there is also a new and particularly nasty strain of AIDs that doesn't discriminate. Be aware that young homosexuals have sex with members of the opposite sex. See Kinsey.

Indeed, Steve!, "sometimes" one can be considered an airhead just for speaking airily. Especially one with a bubbly personality. glug glug
-
Steve!, My replies have been terse not tense.
-
I don't have to wait for you to beg me for an opinion before I offer mine.
-
That sounds fishy.
-
I'm overcome with the genuine warmth of your concern and gratitude.
-
Thank you for your feedback, Steve!. You are a real "bitchy" expert.

Is your name David?

David, I've scanned my grocer's water section looking for oxygenated water but haven't seen any. I'm typically a tap drinker but if I find it, I'll try it. How much oxygen does a fish tank aerator add?

Young people would probably enjoy Irmgard Hunt's "On Hitler's Mountain." It's a first-hand account of what it was like to live a few miles from Hitler's 'Wolf's Lair.' www.onhitlersmountain.com - She is the girl sitting on Hitler's lap.

I forgot that Koestler was Jewish. It's funny (not ha ha funny) that a Jew hating bunch like The Way had so many Jewish authors in circulation. Dr. Bonner was, I think, Jewish too.

This is from foggy memory and a hundred miles off the subject but: Ayn Rand was a Soviet Jew who immigrated to Hollywood where she worked as an author and screenwiter. In the course of time (among other notable achievements) she founded "Objectivism." A basic tenet of Objectivism is: all religion is mindless superstition. Objectivism could be called "Atheistic Capitalism." In her book "The Virtue of Selfishness" she had nothing nice to say about Christianity. Rand, like Velikovsky (both former Soviet Jews) had devotees within the Way.

The Girl From Oz, The thing about The Way was that there were NO taboos on hetero sex. Just under the surface, The Way was a sex cult. By Way doctrine, the ministers of The Way could have their way with whoever they could get away with having their way with.

That’s beautiful, Evan. I can tell if Bach is played right when I actually (physically) feel it in my heart. You nailed it. -
When he gave Mike the Palme d’Or at Cannes, Quentin Tarantino joked that this is the first movie ever made to justify an Oscar acceptance speech. It’s also probably the first with a list of sources. How did Mike know that Bush went to sleep the night of September 10th in “a bed made of fine French linens?” How can it be proven that Saudi Prince Bandar is nicknamed Bandar Bush? The War Room (a source catalog of things “Fahrenheit 9/11”) has the answers. The source listing begins in: The War Room – Section 1 The bottom of each page has a link to the next of the six sections.
