Ha ! So now you’re the spokesperson for hard core science? Is this one of your positive affirmations in your deluded little world? First off – PFAL does not line up with the Bible Second – Genesis says humankind was made in the image and likeness of God Third – humankind was to rule over the creation see Genesis 1:26 - 30 Fourth - "and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it." Ecclesiastes 12:7

great point...got me thinking about another aspect...besides the wierwille-fans who like to defend him to the hilt - I have thought about what went on in the mind of wierwille...I figured he had a seared conscience to behave the way he did...but for him to push fear of the devil so much - I wonder if he was afraid his reckless living would catch up with him somehow - whether by a victim coming forward, the law, God, or devil spirits. why was wierwille so big on fearmongering over the devil and his troops? In my opinion, some of what drove it was his desire - as cult-leader - to manipulate and control his followers. That got me to thinking – did he really believe all the stuff he said – about anything? (*Check out a couple of excerpts I have below that get into perception) Often perception equals reality. Mental health experts have said we misjudge how intensely convincing some dissociative practices and misunderstandings can seem. I’ve questioned if part of wierwille’s interest with devil spirits was an awareness he was unable to resist the devil’s schemes. Considering his bad behavior that was well-known by way corps – maybe he realized his defenses were already compromised. A person who lives a life of crime and deceit is always looking over his shoulder. Is it possible that even if a person has a seared conscience they still might to worry or think about the possibility that something bad might happen, that someone – mortal or…supernatural will try to cause harm? In Genesis 4: 6 & 7 we read of God talking to Cain. Cain was struggling with his conscience – the internal battle was evident on his face: Then the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.” Genesis 4: 6 & 7 I’ve heard Christian counselor Jay Adams abstract an idea from that passage – do good and you’ll feel good. Maybe wierwille's conscience didn't bother him - but you know he had to try and make sense of the dirty looks he might get...the bad vibes from some...his victim's emotional meltdown.... how did his mind deal with criticism? how often did he have to reinforce his ivory tower? Leon F. Seltzer, Ph.D., holds doctorates in English and Psychology – he said there’s 4 chief methods for rationalizing—or even “moralizing”—our immoral behavior: 1. Reinterpreting Culpable Conduct 2. Obscuring Personal Agency 3. Disregarding or Distorting the Consequences of Immoral Action 4. Blaming and Dehumanizing the Victims of Evil Behavior from: Psychology Today: 4 ways You Rationalize When You Act Against Your Conscience I know the Bible indicates a seared conscience does not function properly. But still there are other aspects of the mind that must try to make sense of what happens and why as a form of self-defense…maybe that’s the impetus for rationalizing bad behavior and being vigilant for some danger or harm that one suspects or fears they may encounter – even if they’re not sure why they feel that way. I heard a preacher say one of the best ways to prepare for spiritual battles is to live an upright morally sound life. as usual - you have no idea what you're talking about! Neuroscience is the scientific study of the nervous system (the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system), its functions and disorders. It is a multidisciplinary science that combines physiology, anatomy, molecular biology, developmental biology, cytology, psychology, physics, computer science, chemistry, medicine, statistics, and mathematical modeling to understand the fundamental and emergent properties of neurons, glia and neural circuits. The understanding of the biological basis of learning, memory, behavior, perception, and consciousness has been described by Eric Kandel as the "epic challenge" of the biological sciences. The scope of neuroscience has broadened over time to include different approaches used to study the nervous system at different scales. The techniques used by neuroscientists have expanded enormously, from molecular and cellular studies of individual neurons to imaging of sensory, motor and cognitive tasks in the brain. from: Wikipedia: neuroscience what the hell are you selling ?!?!

not just wrong - but screwed-up bull-Shonta wrong The Uncertainty Principle is often the physicists first taste of quantum mechanics. The idea that the very position or momentum of an object could ever be unknown or uncertain is like catnip to a mind which has only ever known the Newtonian universe. And yet, even when taught at the undergraduate level, it is often portrayed as quantum weirdness. Maybe it was just slow uptake on my part, but the idea always seemed to just be a fundamental quantum effect, something plucked from the rear of reality and presented on a platter, its true origins unclear. But its not. The uncertainty principle isn’t quantum at all. And I think it’s time we stopped presenting it like it is. First, a quick refresher of what we’re talking about. The uncertainty principle, in its most common form, states that there’s a fundamental relationship between our knowledge of a quantum particle’s position and momentum. The more we know about the particle’s location in space, the less we know about how its moving, and vice versa. This is a stark removal from our usual experience of the world, where the simultaneous precise knowledge of both the position and speed of, say, a car is crucial to deciding when to cross the street without an unexpected trip to the hospital. And so, the uncertainty principle is strange. It goes against our intuition about the world around us. But while the quantum world holds many of its own mysteries, the existence of an uncertainty principle is not one of them. To show you why, I present to you the humble sound wave. from: How Quantum is the Uncertainty Principle

how do you know who the guidance is from? Do you ever share some of this stuff with your Facebook and/ or neuroscience "colleagues"? Do you ever get weird looks when you share this stuff? it goes without saying - but mental health professionals would consider some of this stuff as red flags

so, you pivot when challenged and change your position to "whispering" being figurative and it could be by manipulating the environment. ...WHAT The Frick-A-Frack???? WHAT or WHO is manipulating the environment ? Fate? and how do you figure satan's "seed" is permanent? What is satan's seed? are there any samples of it around? like in one of those sperm banks? where did you get the idea satan has been spreading his seed? wow wee wow the devil is giving Jesus Christ revelation?!?! You know - this introduces a big problem - how do we know that what Jesus Christ said was true? What if some - or all of it was given to him by the devil? And further - what about all the other things stated in the Bible - what if some - or all of it was inspired by the devil? inquiring minds want to know

The above post and most of the posts below are Mike's statements on the NT canon thread. This is to show the incoherence of Mike's belief system. For example, in the above post Mike suggested that it's possible the devil can whisper in your ear,and he also mentions revelation from the true God. How does that square with determinism? ~ ~ ~ ~ The same with this next post of Mike's: what he says goes counter to determinism which is that individual human beings have no free will and cannot be held morally responsible for their actions. ~ ~ ~ ~ Determinism is nullified in the following post of Mike's - because if God can direct by revelation or intervene then the result cannot be attributed to determinism ~ ~ ~ ~ It's the same idea in Mike's next post that contradicts his hypothesis on determinism; if God is able to work with individuals - then there are TWO variables that DO NOT FIT with his hypothesis on this thread - that being: 1. God - NOT fate, NOT determinism 2. man having free will - to respond to God - - or choosing NOT to respond to God: ~ ~ ~ ~ In Mike's post here, he skirts around the issue of being condescending by saying it's too complicated to explain why he's being that way. It seems to me he's spun himself such a web of lies and nonsense that even he can't untangle it. Mike seems to operate this way most of the time; he comes on Grease Spot preaching we should return to PFAL, we forgot all the good things, we missed the good stuff, blah blah blah. When anyone pins him down on being specific - like WHAT good things - he avoids direct converstaion ~ ~ ~ ~ Now mind you, most of these posts were on the NT canon thread - all the Grease Spotters posting dealt with facts, historical evidence, ancient manuscripts, even documents written by early church leaders concerning the NT docs - all Grease Spotters EXCEPT for Mike. He posits his own "bottoms-up approach" and childish literary structures that observe nothing more than a break in verses - i.e., abababababab I'm pointing this out because - whether intentional or not, it appears Mike is incapable of distinguishing fact from fiction on something as tangible as ancient manuscripts that are still in existence/historical evidence - and the fiction of his own imagination that seems to defy the accessible evidence...so why should I think he has a bead on intangibles like determinism and free will? ~ ~ ~ ~ In the following post Mike talks about God's justice seeming to be in the future. The idea behind determinism is that all actions are determined by the current state and immutable laws of the universe, with no possibility of choice. determinism noun The property of having behavior determined only by initial state and input...therefore there is no God - no sovereignty of a God who is all-powerful and all-knowing! ~ ~ ~ ~ My comments end with this last post of Mike's on this thread - as a follow-up to what I said to Mike earlier - besides his "postulates" lacking internal coherency - they also contradict what he has said on other threads where he has referenced PFAL, wierwille, or the Bible to claim that God is in charge - NOT fatalism My conclusion: Mike usually does not know what he's talking about - but he'll talk about it anyway. When I think about - I wonder what motivates him to come here and preach about returning to PFAL or believing his nonsense about determinism. He's like a salesman who has no idea how the product or service that he's promoting works! What motivates him? He certainly isn't getting a commission on sales - he hasn't made any sales to speak of! I don't know.

Great point Twinky! Ecclesiastes is one of my favorite books. The writer sounds like a modern existential philosopher – but I think he’s going along the same line of thought you expressed – he’s somewhat of a stoic – in that he doesn’t get caught up in pain, pleasure, grief, or joy but endures through his core beliefs. In Ecclesiastes we find that he looked about with an honest questioning mind and found flaws – emptiness in what he saw…at the end of the book he reaffirms his core belief - that the answer must be found elsewhere…in the metaphysical…God!

And it’s that too in a Hee Haw idiom of admission from the ancient Piece-of-Shonta text - and I doth quote: it’s already been freely determined by the rarely used PFAL law of comedy reinterpreting itself exceedingly above beyond belief with and without distinction when being held in abeyance, albeit in a pig’s eye before eek except after geeks or when flipping off the bird like “the word” is a turd.

Didn't realize you posted this before, or maybe I forgot. So much bullshonta sometimes, it's hard to remember where and when the snow fell. Need to renew my mind. Sounds like you need a Bull-Shonta Governor They’re inexpensive and easy to install In the artist’s depiction below of how we think the Bull-Shonta Governor would work, if you can believe it: By adjusting the # 10 thingy you can reduce or increase the fuel supply (the amount of Bull-Shonta), parts 1 through 7 and parts 11 through 13 are explained in the Advanced Class - for serious operators – and there’s a minimum required donation of ¾ of your cognitive skills. Part # 8 we’re not sure of but we think it’s the tension between the 5 senses and revelation faith. On the back of the box that the Bull-Shonta Governor Kit comes in, is a visual aid of what the Bull-Shonta Governor Kit should look like if installed properly:
