  1. See.... now you went and got me curious about that other song. ;)
  2. Tom, I'm the first one to admit I don't know a thing about music. I really just know what moves me. ....BUT - I know how to Google! ;) What Pat Metheny plays in Sound of Water There are lots of great links on that page.
  3. I'll take it. "Sympathy for the Devil" by the Rolling Stones "Let me tell you how it will be..."
  4. Pat Metheny and Brad Mehldau - "Sound Of Water"
  5. More John Lennon: "Watching the Wheels" - a much sweeter video
  6. I heard this song this morning. I can still remember where I was when I first heard it:Sorry for the gruesome images. I still like the song.
  7. BTW Strangeone - here's another Cat Stevens favorite of mine:
  8. Hey there, Tom. Here's another Stones song for ya:
  9. U2 - "Please" - interesting imagery...
  10. I think Bumpy has a lot of decorations in that closet of his. C'est vrais, n'est pas?
  11. Who gets to be "the girl"?
  12. Wait! I just heard voices coming from the closet...what's that? Ahh.... Okay, no problem... it said, "We're all gone now!" :evildenk:
  13. Ahhhhh Yes! The belief that as long as you never said what was wrong it wasn't really wrong.... <_< So many errors, so little time.
  14. I've been involved in teaching homeschoolers for 8 years now. I work with two schools that serve to supplement the homeschooling parents. There is no one pattern for homeschooling. I've seen it done well and I've seen it done poorly. I have some definite ideas of what works and what doesn't work, but those ideas have no place in this thread. This young man seems to have had some other problems that were not the product of homeschooling.
  15. The MAL Pack thing was inconsistent at best. I was under the impression that the "danger" had passed by the time I went on my Interim year. I never heard about folks on the field gathering supplies until after I graduated from the 11th corps. I remember raising and eyebrow and saying, "You're still doing that?" Looking back, the inconsistent amount of information should have been the biggest red flag of all.
  16. As long as you plan on sharing the "goodies"
  17. Hieronymus Bosch was Dutch... That Amsterdam lifestyle apparently goes way, way back.
  18. I posted that song a few months ago in the Music Lovers thread - but no one was watching..;)
  19. John - My solution worked for me. It still works for me. I'm not accusing you here but I do wonder... have you seen any positive results from YOUR solution? Or is your solution merely a theory that you like to spout because it gets a rise from Greasespotters?
