I remember scratching my head because neither "standing" nor "state" were biblical terms. Perhaps we were all standing on one leg in a state of confusion...

What's the big deal? If the book version were the "end all and be all" there wouldn't have been so much insistence that grads sit through a class more than once. I even remember some grads taking notes right into their orange books to add stuff that they saw in the video version.

Okay... I'll give it a go - lemme try an easy one: "Shut your fat mouth!" "Make me!!" "Make you.. My God I'm, I'm gonna, I'm GONNA BOUNCE YOU OFF EVERY WALL IN THIS OFFICE!!" "Try it and you'll be walking funny tomorrow... Or should I say funnier."

Here's a clue as to what you should be thinking about with that second photo:

I saw Chicago today... and when Razzle Dazzle Them played I couldn't help but think of VP: Especially these lines: Give 'em the old three-ring-circus Stun and stagger them When your in trouble go into your dance Though you are stiffer than a girder They'll let you get away with murder Razzle dazzle them and ya got a romance Give 'em the old razzle dazzle Razzle dazzle them Show 'em the first-rate sorceror you are As long as you keep 'em way off balance How can they spot you've got no talent Razzle dazzle them (Razzle dazzle them) Razzle dazzle them And they'll make you a star

I had to google it -that's why I never answered. -
Was vp's time in India every recorded anywhere else but in Way propaganda material? The man on the train... "I believe God can heal me but I don't believe in your Jesus..." Did he do this on his own or just follow someone else around and feed off of them? Then there was that casting out of devils session spoken about in the Adv class, involving he and the Missus... IIRC she was the one who realized there was one more left ("We're all gone now!") and she was the one who "found" the spirit of infanticide.... Did it happen? Does anyone have any facts? Or is it all hearsay?

:offtopic: WhiteDove you really don't want to be calling yourself "judge." This joke has been heard around many a courthouse: What do you call a person with an IQ of 25? "Counselor" What do you call a person with an IQ of 12? "Your Honor." :biglaugh: Perhaps we need to return to the topic... Ya think?

How do you get the lines? I don't remember scripts all that well - but I'd give it a shot...

You've got the first clue correct. Which space station? The most popular name for the Mob.
-
Hello WTH - there's a message for you to come to the front counter. They say they found your sense of humor lying out in the parking lot.
-
You do have to know the name of that thing in space. There is a photo before it and one after it. They both show up on my computer so I hope they show up for you.

Looks like we need an hero.... :evildenk: Faster than a speeding bullet.(allegedly) More powerful than a locomotive.(allegedly) Able to leap tall tales in a single bound. (alle...well maybe that's been documented) Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's white! It's WhiteDove!(allegedly) Yes, it's WhiteDove - alleged visitor from another planet who came to Earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men. WhiteDove - who allegedly can challenge the stories of many posters, bend threads with his split infinitives, and who, disguised as a Greasespotter, mild mannered defender for an insignificant Ohio Cult leader in New Knoxville, allegedly fights the never ending battle for Truth, and Justice for the Way. *In accordance with the ASPCA and The Humane Society no actual white doves were hurt in the making of this post*

Ahhhh - but if we then discussed Evidence - would the topic Allegedly be negated? Let's get a ruling on that...
-
I wonder how many of these stories were his to begin with. And.... I wonder if this was the reason for all the theatrical vignettes Adv Class'79.:

How is this any less cruel than:(paraphrased) <_< I'll tell you what killed that little boy. It was the fear... in the heart and the life... of that mother. Your children are sick because of you and your believing... It's only a bunch of cells 'til the first breath... ________ died because he/she walked away from the Word/ didn't obey... _________ is possessed> (Because he/she didn't agree with me.) ???? <_< -
Nope - Danny is her uncle. (I don't even know why or how I know that!)

T'would be a good excuse to go eat some puffy chips on the Circle.

Has anyone seen the irony in the fact that vp taught that parents should "believe" for their children... and yet he found a way to minimize the pain of abortion? I won't even get into the pro-life/ choice arguments. That's another issue entirely that I don't want to discuss because the thread will go completely off course. Think about it... like TheHighway said, for the most part we were young. Our parental instincts had not kicked in. It's a fairly easy thing to say "Just believe. Don't worry about your kids" when you don't have any. Here we were, sometimes "counseling" people much older than we were, telling them to NOT do what comes fairly naturally to most parents. Regarding abortion, our youth made it equally easy to tell someone, "Well... it's not a soul yet." But in this case, many of us were too young to understand the remorse that comes from that decision down the road. -
"Everybody Loves Raymond"? But that second photo didn't help...unless you were going for "body"
