Hey Danteh, I hear they want to revoke your WOW pin because the car you drive doesn't have enough rust to qualify for a WOWmobile. Of course, giving 20% will open up the floodgates for you to get it back.... *Enjoy the truck!*

Hebrews 11:13 (NIV) 13 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. 14 People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. 15 If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. KJV (Same reference) 13These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. 15And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 16But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Jeff - please consider one last thing: vp painted himself into a corner. IF he was really a "Dr" then he was well aware of the standards for avoiding plagiarism - even back in the 40's. He would have to have been aware, because there would have been theses to research and write. Perhaps he also learned that it was easy to not get caught.(this would be lying and stealing) OR.... IF he wasn't a "Dr" at all, then he was truly ignorant of what he was doing, BUT he lied about the doctorate degree. (again - lying) In either case you can see the early signs of the pattern of deceit. I'm not so sure it's judgmental to call something for what it is. It may be impossible to really know a man's motives, but it is possible to look at the details he himself has put forth. I wish you well in your journey and hope to see you posting again soon.

There used to be something called a "Poor man's copyright." You would type out your work and send an original to yourself and keep the envelope sealed. This would document the time of your work. I'd have to look to see if this is still viable. *checking......* It apparently is NOT a good choice: Poor Man's Copyright

Nope, I was dead serious (but wrong.) I thought (I was wrong) that it really was Bobby, but I just checked and it was Glen Campbell who I remembered singing that song. I really loved John H's version better than the Glen Campbell song that I heard back when Gawd made dirt. (Well I found this old thing I'd never seen before called a re-re-rec-record...it was made of some kind of plastic and had these grooves... I hear they used to get music from these things with a needle :o ) ;) -

I heard H*ward All3n complain that 80% of the ABS came from 20% of the believers. Perhaps 20% of corps theses ended up producing 80% of the research. Ya think that 20% of a bottle of Drambuie caused 80% of the problems?

Is that a Hemingway quote? I only remember the story with the Bonito fish....not the title. *edited to say that on second thought I don't really think it is Hemingway.
