  6. Ok here are the lyrics to that song: Rascal Flatts - Bless The Broken Road (Lyrics) I set out on a narrow way many years ago Hoping I would find true love along the broken road But I got lost a time or two Wiped my brow and kept pushing through I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you Every long lost dream lead me to where you are Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars Pointing me on my way into your loving arms This much I know is true That God blessed the broken road That led me straight to you I think about the years I spent just passing through I'd like to have the time I lost and give it back to you But you just smile and take my hand You've been there you understand It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true Every long lost dream lead me to where you are Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars Pointing me on my way into your loving arms This much I know is true That God blessed the broken road That led me straight to you

  9. Very moving, very humbling. We pray for you and all those over there. Now I have a question - what was that soldier doing to that donkey? It looked like he was fueling it up - like a car. But that can't be....

  13. I for one am glad that I have not been the subject of any "modifying." (That I know of.) It really would be nice it we would all play fair and give these folks a break. Sooooo... do you mods need anything? Starbucks gift cards? Popcorn? Shampoo? Really thanks for doing what is most assuredly a thankless job on many an occasion.
  14. Just to clarify - Ex10, I did not take the class. My friends ( all four - well seven in total) that took Momentus all said that although it was a very challenging weekend,(in that they had to confront things in themselves they had been avoiding) -it was a positive experience. My problem was that with the exception on ONE person they all tried to act as "trainers" thought they werejust fresh and new out of the class. (And yes I know that the admonition was to not go out and try to act that way - but then again we were all told to have people wait until the 12th session to have them speak in tongues.) They were confrontational and only honest when they had to get something off of their chest - but there was not quid pro quo. Now, this (the above) is the only personal experience I have regarding Momentus. It is not an experience from the seminar itself - but rather with the aftermath. I repeat - I NEVER TOOK MOMENTUS! BUT my (MY!) experience with the folks that did was less than positive. I'd say that this experience it valid. AND I repeat - these folks liked the experience. One couple started the training to become trainers. Then they quit because they stated that their had been some changes in the Momentus group that made them decide to never even recommend it to anyone. So - the Momentus experience you received may have been completely different from that of others. I'm sure that there are as many views on this as there are in politics or religion.....I'm glad that it seemed to be a good thing for you - at least that is what you have implied. peace
  15. Well Ron - if anyone can wrangle all those boys - its you! Well wishes to Andrew .....and prayers for you! dooj
  16. Me too! oh and I don't need a motive - I'm here cuz I wanna be here.
  17. I knew two couples that were friends of mine. Both couples became insufferable to be around for about a month after taking Momentus. One guy actually said, "If you see the changes in my life.... and would like these same changes ...blah blah blah.." I told him that he was had become one of the least humble people that I had ever been around. The other couple couldn't seem to keep their word - even though they told me that that was a big deal in Momentus. They decided that the agreement (aka - friendship) needed to be "re-negotiated." Of course - there is no negotiating going on if you never talk to the other party ever again. Sigh.........

  20. True - but it DID get Loy Boy an excuse to hang around a bunch of women with great bodies. Heck, he even had them fawning on him with some lame excuse that the minister would be the object of love or some such nonsense.
  21. point/up/ index mail/ letter dull/ohio Dan dee/Sandra This is sorta way out of left field here but "Crockadile Dunndee?"
  22. I lost most of my nametags as soon as I got them. I only held on to the Way Corps nametag because of necessity - that - and I didn't want to have to keep buying them! WE were the ministry to a certain extent. There were a lot of attitudes that many of us adopted "just 'cuz." Call it the popular group mentality - it got a life of its own. I guess the main point is and was that we were using the tags as a gauge of spirituality - because there is no way to measure spiritual matters. Maybe we substituted the tags, classes, programs, etc. for what really mattered - a realtionship with God and His Son. I say, "Maybe' because I can not speak for anyone else here. What say ye?
