The thoughts that lead to suicide are sneaky and uneventful at first. I have been there only twice in my life...about 10 years ago. I remember telling the husband that for the first time in my life I could understand the "logic" of a suicidal person. Luckily, just talking that out got me back to a realistic mind set. It makes no sense to anyone else how this process becomes "logical." Folks may ask, "but what about your kids?" and that is a major factor.

Hey Ex10! That book I was telling you about is called "The Sweet Potato Queen's Big A$$ Cookbook" Real fun - but DO NOT eat anything in that book without a full cardiological exam - I can't even read it without my blood sugar rising and my cholesterol going off the charts.

I personally have dealt with persons of this sort. They come out and "confess' only as much as they need to to disarm people emotionally. There really is no way to judge how much a person has repented...I'm not in a position to care in this case - but if I were a member of that congregation, I would have to decide - with or without the letter whether or not to forgive this man. I CERTAINLY would have a much, much bigger issue if I was asked to trust him. Templelady - you are right about the letter being a good start. In the case of TWI I'm not sure a letter would have made a difference - we all heard lots and lots of confessions through the years - and many of us saw the very same things get repeated like they were being spewed from a copy machine...... Maybe this is why we are to be wise as serpents - Don't get cornered. If you do find yourself cornered - COIL AND STRIKE - and if you have to strike, BITE and take them down! All this while being harmless as a dove - Geeze - so much to keep track of......

OK - sleep deprevation is almost gone... What a wonderful time I had - that you to everyone for allowing me to cook and serve you. (I didn't do it all by myself BTW - Mr Ex10 was a major help in the food dept, as were Pipes and Tonto for helping me keep the kitchen clear.) I would do it all again - anytime, anywhere - just to get to see all you folks sitting and enjoying each other. Oh and Ex10: "How's your Mama and 'em?" (My Mama's fine. How's your Mama?") Sweet Potato Queens are cool. Paw PM Ex10 about this one - she has an idea......

But Belle - What Runner calls "Cheesecake" is only loosely transated as such.......Geeze! They just arrived.... and with the potato salad that they brought - we officially have too much food! The wine and beer and Mike's Hard Lemonade will be flowing - along with ..... CHEESECAKE! Lots and lots of cheesecake! (BTW - I am the self appointed BBQ reporter until someone else takes over....)
