twister city?
-
Well - if you brew your own, then YOU get to decide how big "one" is. So the two drink limit get to be about as much as a sixpack - nobody ever said you can't bottle beer in wine bottles.........
-
We made some home brew. You boil, hops and malt, along with other things according to what taste you might be going for. You strain it and add some yeast, let it ferment, add some sugar(I think) and then bottle it - wait a month or more...... I don't like beer so it was just a long process for me.

I think I only know the last pic Dill?

I left when Lcm demanded loyalty to him. 1987 or there abouts -
And so......?????? Where are the recipes?

I use the Costco brand myself. It's good, smells nice and is very inexpensive. I don't use fabric softener - it makes the towels soft but also less absorbent.

Go for it!

OK this might have been posted a long time ago - but does anyone know the whereabouts of Mark and Holly Lewis? They were in Houston 1980, and in Louisiana when the POP was read. I would really like to contact them or have them contact me. I was with them in Houston in 1980-82. Absolutely the best people I ever worked with - hands down.

Excath - you were fine - I just thought that I'd stick my nose where it doesn't belong. It's too easy to make this kind of stuff personal between two individuals and I think the blame where it belongs - on those that ACTUALLY DID THE WRONG! OK off my soapbox now.... mwah mwah mwah -

It is impossible to obey God without first obeying your leadership
doojable replied to rascal's topic in About The Way
The basic premise of this thread is still that "It is impossible to obey God without first obeying leadership." - as it was taught. Personally, that would have offended me and no matter who taught it I would have rejected the teaching - and I was considered leadership! There are too many incidences where a person goes against a leader only to do God's will... young King David comes to mind. -
There's also that horribly overused phrase that many leadership mumbled under their breath: "It's easier to get forgiveness than permission." Now, if I used this phrase to someone in my twig, I was considered brilliant and free and not into the law. BUT if I used it when speaking to someone up the Way tree from me - well I got royally reamed. Personally I hate the phrase. It seems to give license to all sorts of things. I know that it may have started out to be a good phrase - but like many things TWI - it got twisted.
-
There's also that strong feeling that no one in TWI wants to even APPEAR to be religious in any way shape or form. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO - read the Bible, pray, go to fellowship BUT also make sure you drink to excess, (because we're free) screw, (because we're not uptight religious Churchgoers) and do whatever you well please (so that you can be all things to all men - and women.) It's sick - but there it is.....
