I'd look at the major events in the person's life - both good and bad. Sometimes people keep some rememberance from a hard time in their lives to remind them that things get better. Who did they love? Who loved them?

Gotta confirm some things with Ex10 first. That weekend works for me. Does there have to be an "Official Weenie Roast?" I like the idea of multiple get-togethers throughout the year and around the country. They get announced and folks get there if they can. We sure were thrilled to have Mo and Lori at our Texas BBQ! (Sorry - I don't do weenies...)

I guess that the flip side of degradation is respect. It's no surprise to me that both issues got called into the topic. I'm more inclined to believe that verbal and emotional abuse were far more rampant than sexual abuse. That does not mean that I don't believe that sexual abuse went on, merely that it was ushered in by the verbal and emotional set-up.

There are SOME in any group that are bad actors (referring to their actions and not their stage presence ;)) I think everyone will agree that it is faulty logic to make the jump from SOME to ALL. Jean - your point about respect is correct. I think that the workplace rules in effect now are an attempt to even the playing field.
