We had a nice husky with blue eyes till he lost one in a shoot out or something . We called him Ivan . as in one Ivan . ok not so funny but it was at the time . Ivan is a nice name for a dog. or mike you could call him mike . or brownie or chip or chocolate . phil , big guy , or you could call him pawtucket !

Many bought the advertisment. Yes it was sales as is most in life, we buy the package it will make our life.. whatever we are seeking. that is our culture the way most of america thinks. twi acted like they found white bread (which is not neccesarily a good thing, but important to our societyis my point) I think the sale was heavy it said things like NO FEAR in your life, your family would have "more harmony" lots of stuff was "available" No illlness .. and of course you would be working directly for God almighty taking and giving directives from HIM!!! power!!! a I can do attititude. all of it was sold as a BEST creature ever created!!!!! As the snake decieved so did twi , you can be like God! it was about power. and easy to they had it all set up for ya!!! just find some sponors. to me I looked at how the corps struggled how those going wow strugled how it was such a compromise of what life was and is and I thought no way Would I give up my life for twi. but they didnt say they were selling twi.. they were selling God. almost like if you do this God loves you but if you do not He wont eh? powerful words for frightened people in that . people without answers to life search to do better be better we all do. At first the green card was about our needs and wants .. then it was bout what God needs and wants .. then it was about what twi needs and wants. it can be a life for sure.. better? I think it all depends on how your life was going and what maturity level you had to find a vision for your own self.

I think middle age is different and Im not convinced it may be for the better. today I went to the pharmacys to get my meds.. I had not gone to this pharmacy in about 20 years , and they didnt process my insurance so the kid said "go see YOur case worker". Now I have not the money or desire to pay for this stuff and im suppose to go in for sugery next week . I said IM not going to pay for this stuff , I am certain your put the information in wrong. and I was not nice about it this was after waiting for over an hour for the meds. but i didnt yell or get upset. So the pharmacy guy said to me "NO need for all this screaming" i wasnt screaming I was just telling them they were wrong and to figure it out I asked the kid to get the manager.. it was not the kids problem he was just doing what he was told. the pharmacy manager agrued with me and told me well they couldnt do iit I said then give me my prescriptions back.. He says you have cash I said NO you have to figure out how to do your job . I told him call another local store and ask them what kind of insurance it was.. He didnt believe me it was not medicaid .. it was not but he was convinced and wouldnt buge.. IN the end I said dump the drugs and give me my prescription back and I will not pay you cash. Now he is inconvienicied and it will cost HIM money... hmm the tone changed. He called the other pharmacy and found out HE was WRONG and I was right. filled it. and i went to the store manager and complained about him. Trust me I never would have done this any of this if I was in my twenties. middle has given me more courage to say my piece regardless what what people has to think. alot more I think knowing I aint sexy has given me the courage to be real or something. In an ealier time I would have just agreed with him (knowing he was wrong ) and walked away without the drugs or the prescription. today I guess I threw a fit and got my needs met.. crap I do not if it is better it is just the way things have changed .

Well he was to be sentenced this fall and the stress was to much. Well did you see hisattitude the day of his conviction? He said He still had "his family". Well yeah dude lucky u on this day . But I think he didnt have anything to live for. the money was gone and the life style he stole for was gone. so he had a massive heart attack.. his heart was broken you know people can die of a broken heart it happens and has now been rpven as a valid illness and type of death. He LOVED money and he died when it was gone so much for that "family thing" he still had huh? No I do not think he should have died but I do think of him as a thief but he just started a huge ball rolling on how corporation had been running for years and years. So I understand how he doesnt think he is any more guilty than many many more doing the same methods of accountability . the stress of losing or not having money is one I know well and I aint dead yet.. he died I think because he gave up the will to live without all the power and glory he had and will never see again. I think the thought of prison killed him .

Dot Ya want to hear a story? I worked with a women who walked around the place with a sequin in a plastic bag saying it left by her long dead mother and wanted to know what I though her mom was trying to tell her.. Ok i walked away I said "I really couldnt say" I ran away from her and her baggie and she did it for a week straight man that woman had a person die every other day took every other day off for death. I know she didnt have that many nut case friends. I would go on break and she would come in the break room and sit next to me with her baggie and ask me personal questions about my children and family (I avoid any of my perosnl info at work at just share ya know happy news for conversation) she would say "I think" and Maybe you should have your new grand .. becuase thousands of babies die every year type and it goes undected. type of freaky scary death to my new grand baby conversations. WORK??? you have got to be kidding the woman didnt do one thing not one thing not one thing on the job and took alot of time off . and she was just plain stupid on top of nuts honestly. but the owners trusted her .. long story and she got the boss her job. I loved my boss I truly loved my boss she was the kindest person I have ever known in my life and she was fair and she worked so hard 6 days a week and picked up this nut cases slack all the time. I loved my job so I started working harder and harder and just to get away from her and her dead mothers bead in the baggie routine I would do extra work that was not mine. she reported me ..... I went to the office my boss said you do not need to do everything you know. see she would pick ou these little jobs real simple things that would take maybe five minutes to complete and work on it for say 7 or 8 hours all day and I guess I did the one thing she had planned on doing that day and she had a FIT!!!!! nothing left to do I guess .. believe this? and she was over me but of course knew and did much less than me. and one day she slapped me when I was tryingt to walk away from her she grapped my hair and slapped me !! i told her you ever put your hands on me again you crazy wacko I will call the police and put your sorry foot in jail. she called the owners and told them she thought I might be stealing they came and I told them yeah prove it and I will go to jail with her for hitting me! she lied and made it up and they had no shortage and she was too dam stupid to fix one thank you God. my boss knew i didnt steal and told the owners so.. and the wacko changed her story and said she didnt think so after all. she was just upset because her "best friend" just died of a cancer she just found out she had that morning !!! of course that makes anyone slap a co-worker and get away with which she did .. because I gave my notice and my boss fell to her knees and cried when I did . how this wacko got in the position she did was political and how she ket it was by threatening her friend the boss with telling the owners she was tealing as well. I quit because one day my friend the boss was off she never took a day off but had worked for so many days in a row and finaly did and this wacko called the owners and told them she was stealing... and she didnt do this and that and all this crap. I couldnt believe it she was her good friend.. so instead of going to my friend the boss and telling her just how far this wacko would go and how sick she was I just quit. I dint have the heart nor the reason to get so involved in a JOB to take any of it to a level it would allow me to think less of myself or someone I really respected loved and cared about. I learned a long time ago not to fight a system .. it is work just work no one is asking you to lie steal or cheat so just go to work do it for the Lord and enjoy your real life the reason your working. God will help you . If you want to be the one who tell on peple then become the manager the supervisor the boss and do it your way. It is difficult to find skilled workers and companies must keep employees for many different reasons dot it isnt as simple as he did wrong he should be fired .

Can you make a house rule that states no post it notes about the roomates allowed. ever. the guys sense of humor is a little warped but I do not know how "nuts" might play a factor and how much space you guys have for learning good living arrangements. Living with people isnt easy I know Im not good at it. I guess your system might work as long as they are posted for everyone to remeber what is a general agreement. 5 so no ties. When I went to my ob/gyn I saw a medicine advertisment for hot flashes it said it reduces the problem by as much as 50 percent or something. ask your dr. if he knows of it maybe that will help you . I am sorry about your dad getting older.. It seems everytime you make plans he gets sicker and you need to stop and make arrangement to help him. That is what it was like raising my children and being a single parent.. I loved them and they had no one eles and they needed me. My life did go on hold for many years. you know what? it is ok to be a little angry about it and a lot frightened..your dad is kind of the only family from "home" you have left. do what you need to do to get thrrough this time. but remember this, your dad knows better than you he is old and possibly dying.. he gets it that you have to live and work and etc. He did when you where young and needed him. . If he is very frightened and alone and needy a placement in a caring facility may be a solution some day. no one wants to put their first kid in day care and no one wants to put mom or dad in a "home"> it is ok he may be much relieved not having to rely on you so much and make his last days more comfortable. and then if his time comes and you can not be home just that minute he wont be alone and you can relax some more. this is a thing you cant control your dad getting old.. or just when he can or will die. and that means you may not be able to plan you life around the event.. My son got hit by a car... I didnt find out about it till much later in the day... I felt guilty I should have KNOWN that could happen and waitied by the phone.. LIFE just isnt like that for any of us. as much as we wish it could be. I am sad for you you really are a good daughter and love your dad so much. But do not let him leave this world with you resenting him keeping you from living. Folks go through this letting go process and it is tough it is the same these days for elderly parents letting go of their disabled children finaly after 70 at home to a group home. Because they can no longer care for them . I see this alot and it is a sad part of life but it is life and guess what the "kid" often times is very happy knowing mom and dad are doing ok and vice versa. I think you should talk to your dad now while you can.. say I need to go away for work.. I will come back as soon as I am able... and if something should happen while IM gone I want you to know this... I will be ok dad.. Im getting a hang of this life stuff and Im happy.. this allows your dad some peace Scout he will always be your dad. he will always want to know your ok . Tell him your ok with him being ill. and be ok with it.. not happy just that your fine and will be ok. this is all a parent ever ever wants from their children. he knows he is ill he knows death is looming he needs to know what you need to know that he and you will be ok. and you will even if he dies. just let him know it so he can be as well as he can be and not worry about you. he may keep calling you back to make sure your ok he is worried.. OK IM a little like that to. as a parent it is difficult to make this huge change in life without making sure the kids are ok with it and this is the bottom line of change.. he knows life better than you scout trust him and trust your love for him and talk to him now about what is the elephant in the living room. then when you go to work realize that conversation and be at peace with one another in life and death . Im sorry if this is out of bounds I just thought I would try to help. if it is impossible then Imwrong but if not I hope it helps that is all. if time goes by I have seen family fall apart by compromise and actualy resent someone from a normal process of life. I just do not want this to happen to you two he is your only family and you must be very close and i know he is concerned you are handlling this alright. When people are very old as you describe your dad death is not as frightening to him , what is frightening is not being to take care of those you love anymore.. just let him know you will be alright and then be alright . it is the best way to love him forever. but clearly you must live and your dad wants you to live.

A major corporation here is downsizing and has been for over ten years... LOTS and LOTS of middle ager in LIMBO . They made a good paycheck for many years.. nothing will compare any where eles here and they for the most part spent it ! they worked a factory job at a machine that is now gone forever, and they worked slow and no competition .they are my saving grace. I go seminars with the ex executives vrying looking like stunned deer at what the world looks like in the rest of the world. They neveer went to college they never struggled they never saw unemployment and now they are in shock with life without the company. I worked to hard I found out in middle age I really did.. I work less now with the children grown and me cutting them off . I realize my God how the heck did i do it all ??? today i wont work two jobs I would rather cook at home etc. I think im beginning to live like an "old" person.. I enjoy the bird feeder rember the cats box more and notice when the laudry isnt done!!1 this is a change. for me. I was so busy before and now nothing. I go to college quite a bit I take certifications and courses to learn new skills. and i intend to use them but not in a got to make good or die kind of life like you said "On the side of the angels now. ' If they do not fit or I do not fit I can find another path to explore. I have to work till Im 70 anywyas and Im still poor but without the kids inmy face for money all the time the burden seems better and lighter. I do not dream anymore you kow of making huge changes in my life or another.. I hope i can stay kind and happy enough to love those I need to. I am glad some of you can travel I can not no money and none in sight if i ever get an egg i will give it to my grands at this point so the cats and the birds and my wonderful beautiful home and I will make each day an adeventure the best as I can. I agree with what praying for dylight said in her post. I attend many seminars, taught directly by HR people of major companies and schools in the city and surrounding companies. It is a recruitment and a network that works to find the best employee and employers for this area. Managers and professionals attend these seminars to learn the newest trends tech, and to network. The NUMBER one reason employees get fired is because they complain. As praying said a manager does indeed spend too much time babysitting issues between employees , but that issue does not decrease the work load they have as a manager , they do not feel it is their job and is a burden inflicted on them by problem employees. When a solution is not forth coming it is easier all around to just get rid of the issue itself which is for he/or her the person complaining . Over and over and over this is sited as the problem HR, managers and the company at large has to deal with. In most companies the person hearing the complaints about the employees ( your boss) has to justify why they would fire someone. In NY it is a fire at will state which means they can and do fire anyone for any reason and no cause is neccesary to terminate. Frankly the fact somone is complaining is a good enough reason.. sure you can go through HR and do the steps praying is saying may be "in place" for whistle blowers and ect.. and how do we all know the famous whistle bowers? they got fired for doing it . bottom line . and they are still complaining but unemployed. If your mission to rid the company of this guy feels that noble to you dot go for it but be aware of the probable outcome. So what is the solution? find another job. It is your career and your choice where you work, but not your choice whom you work with , so you need to throw some resumes out there. I live in a very large medical community and we have several very large universities in the area. In this city they umbrella which is a data base of employees for ALL of the major companies and schools. So if your throwing your resume around they know exaclty who you are before you even get an interview.. HUGE FACT HR people network they talk and they hold seminars to see what the work force looks like in an area and how to improve it and network talent. Most managers and folks who are in charge of over seeing others and how they get along is in that position for a reason. they are your boss your authority and was granted that because they earned it. You are to answer to them.. now can you seek a solution "over their head" yeah maybe the company does have a heirarchy inplace but most of those are used for serious problems such as a genuine sexual harrasment or injury on the job etc.. not someone not liking another... the manager will refer a person to the HR only if it is something they can not handle for a reason again. and you better have your fact and ducks in a very straight line . If you insist and do it anyway well you are slapping his professionalism in the face and causing even more trouble than rual could ever . You would be walking on thin ice from then on in for sure and I certainly would be sending out that resume if you feel you need to go that far. You just told your boss he does not know how to do his job, with the complaint you are not able to get along with another employee. Well just look at that !with the fact every person is just trying to show up to go to work today , who would you get rid of? this is the number one complaint in the work force and the answer is look for another job move on and be happy in your own life and leave raul alone, Raul makes his own work day, and you yours. managers will place certain trouble -some employees in a work place for a reason they may excel at something your very very unaware of or offer a skill that is needed that you refuse to recognize because of your strong personal feelings. They may be listening to his feedback about other employees and why they are unhappy..(that may be his skill ) and if you allow the tension to over ride your professional well Im sorry dot it would have to be you to leave. It does not matter how long you have beeen there or how much you did for a company you are both in the same position, and you may be at risk if your making a much larger salary.. nice to find a replacement for all the rouble you cause wit the complaining and LESS money put out for it. managers do spend alot of time wasted doing exactly what you describe.. but they do not like it and do not consider it a part of their job .. the goal is to eliminate it as much as possible and have team players that can work with one another. Even if that means getting rid of "good" employees who just cant understand how important it is to them . dot if your that unhappy put some resumes out in the area and look for another job. Even if your dreams come true and Rual leaves you will always have a big black mark for causing trouble and being unable to be a team player if it contiunues as your describe.

Can you see my point when I think anything can become cult like if you allow it to dictate to your lie? co-depency issues are HUGE in our country. and it isnt all about drugs and alcohol abuse. many co-dependents would never take a sip or a smoke. it is about allowing another to take your life and do as they will . YOU allow it you often times activly chose it it is easier to manage a life with zero accountability or responsibility for ones own self. If it goes wrong it is not YOU but rather they said to do or say it in just a way. . many people live in this system without a self or with a very diminished self that is dictated to by others. I do not think it was just twi that allowed this to happen I think we reward those who want to control others in our culture. We also reward co-dependents . It is deeply ingrained in many systems . Rascal I agree some did do a 180 but the title of this thread is about readjusted twi's thinking. twi fed into a co-dependent mind set. co-dependecy is a issue that is across our culture . refusal of a responsibility for self is quite common amoung certain communities and thinking. How many times did you here "addicts" used to the bible and its writings? hmm.. no I do not think it was iroic I think it was telling it was a co-dependant system. co-depency and its issues are a topic of discussion in and of itself.

I honestly believe many are going to be surprised to Meet Jesus some day when they say to HM oh that was you all along helping and loving mankind for the Father? silly people and they thought it was all about what they did for God . like what exactly? Has anyone not sinned other than the ONE God and ONE Saviour? NO not in their estimation. But groups and people now now now they will help you power play your abilities and know it all control of one another! anything to take the mind off christ and WHO He is to mankind. It must be about man and what He/she can do for God .. wrong!! It is about Jesus christ and what He has DONE for mankind ! Im sorry but this word "boundaries " is a new word to the new world. In the 80's and 90 few had that word in the vocabulary.. today it it used to an extraordinary amount. that book was a top seller and many grasp that concept and vocabulary NOW in present time. it has not always been such a handy dandy catch word for people. I wish somone would use a different word actualy . for me twi presented itself as ONE and family and one body and renewed mind. any crossing that and it got bad. boundaries???? oh no I do not think so. I had alot of my friends take the class .. some are stil involved in twi.. we went from friends to now IM a lesser human in humanity cause i do not join in . um how did THAT happen? I do think groups and group thinking that all is one one for all thinking is about control those who like the power of telling others and those who like not taking responsibility for their own life. the pay has to be enough and then the cost is just to dam high and it is over. Isnt that true in any relationship built around a system of thinking that allows those types of relationships to be empowered?

Twi taught alot of data or belief systems . I really do not believe people walk away from what they learned. different color flavor or outfit but the inside stuff that "changed" them from before till after twi stayed the same . The thing I noticed about people involved in twi or even inmany churches is they really believe from the gut they are saving the world with their litttle piece of the pie and what they offer. twi really instilled a Saviour complex in so many.. now they seek and often find someone thing to continue to rescue, to valadate who they must be because they have a inside mission to be able to KNOW what they KNOW> the fact the offshoots are strong is indicative of how strong that feeling of being the one who has to "be the hands" Im sorry but why would God NEED hands and eyes or any body part? to do his job? I like to think somone will love me one day . But i doubt the whole marriage thing. I may be bitter or I may be happy it is often a toss up to why I am where I am. I think people who divorce should get married again but do not wait until the thrill of single hood sets in. it is like being married for a long time even if it isnt always great you get used to it , i do not think i would be a very good wife. both my ex 's cheated on me. I look at marriages and i see nothing special. One friend I have loves her husband and he her they seem to have a nice marriage.. she is cheating on him tho so I do not know one day at a time. i do not like the idea of being elderly and alone.. but I do not like the idea of care taking a sick old person i am married to either sooobviously I cant decide what will make me happy in that area so i kind of leave it alone.

If the prisoners work "for the state" they can sue . they used to make the plates here but were stopped due to law suits costing to much money. it isnt worth the liability they love the chance just to be able to go out to go to court . mY friend an RN tells me storys of the attempted suicides just to be able to live in the medical ward which has a nicer schedule etc. She as an RN has to carry malpractice insurance due to being sued eevery few months by a prisoner who just wants a chance to go outside etc. she had one kill himself she asked him if he was going to kill himself he said no, they rountinely claim to want to or attempt suicide so she didnt put him in the ward.. he succeeded only because the guard got hung up and was ten minutes late for his rounds.. the family wants millions of dollars! he was sentenced to death penalty . honestly. the cost of the trial l alone will be a million dollars or more.
