Jesus was never afraid of sin. we live in this world for a reason. it is a fine line between "being a christian " and being an arrogant self righteous really not loving anyone but their own life style alone person. I have friends who sin, and i sin. to me God is about love and serving. one can not do that without a sense of what is wrong and right for them. to set another up and make such judgements isnt loving them . It isnt Jesus style, the lepers had to live outside of society because they were so hated and he befriended them and only one said thanks. He didnt have regrets he was just blessed one did! the women who comminted adultery was not a popular gal by any means yet He chose to protect her from the stones in everyones hand. if a person is in a position in life where what other people do influences them to the point they must also engage to get along they have issues in life. most want to be around people who think and act like them..not jesus tho the Entire world sins but He never did. so for me it isnt about what relationship I have with people it is my strength in the LORD that guides my life. doing common things help what do you like to do? then find someone who also likes that activity and do it together! but if your always looking at anothers sin or short coming friends would be hard to find or keep. Jesus had alot of great friends and at the end of the day some did deny them Peter said he didnt even know the guy! but Jesus forgave him and kept on loving him and being thankful for all peter did for God.

ok. fine but the vacation trip to Isreal went ahead. I bet it was mark or karens project and now no one eles wants to do it! They knew they were leaving last year one way or another so this is not exactly wow news, it is the law suit that is giving them trouble . so they have no vision for the ministry now? I knew it would be a fight all of these men have huge egos and want their own way.

Since the kids have grown up i hate shopping to. to much money and time for just me to get fat. so i take my grandson , he is a two... we pull up and he says "Oh no not here" we go around and harrass the place with two year old style and he is shopping up a storm. we go to the lawn dept. toys play some video games.. i have to sit every once in a while. then we find mom and go home . it is fun with him. well you have really set a gaol and gone for it! good for you! shopping is complex and can be quite depressing. kudos!!!

It sounds like your taking everything to personal . I do not read every post on the thread esp if it written to another poster, so how your feeling go is up to you . many of the posters here are very familiar with one another and how they feel about a matter or their opinion about a person or situation. some have posted the same things for years. I doubt a liar will change his spots for you. this is an open public forum . this arena is what it is I do not know if insulting will help the point of why or how folks post or change their thinking. it is up to you to filter what you will and you seem very emotional right now, maybe you have reasons, posting is what it is. It is diferent than a face to face conversation in may ways. to stay on topic is important trolls scan the internet and some poster will kill a thread on purpose to stop the conversation. time will tell if you enjoy it or not.

Diciderator if this is the first time you have come across the information on this site about the sex stuff i understand your hurt and judgement. you say forgive but then write about how wrong the posts have been . that doesnt make any sense does it? unless you want to pick and chose who to believe and forgive and love which at the end of the day we all do. really. spring or winter people have strong feelings about stuff and this board debates alot of feelings and happenings. if they do not agree with you that is ok and you do not agree with them that is ok. it is a public forum. one problem i think your experiencing is you think people are thinking something about what you wrote .. and they may not be! or they agree with another post and they may not be! you leave alot open in the manner you write for people to guess, so they ask and then you accuse them of an idea that isnt even remotely close. when you do not answer somtimes people assume. i know you do , and i ask you to consider instead of assuming everyone gets what your saying or has a full understanding and please be mindful of what the posts are saying. this isnt a group thing, every post is an individual post written by a different person with a different idea or question. your not a victim of anything "group". some posters do agree with one another others do not.

I think it is more than peer pressure as well. the teens that go through the drug stage are "finding their self" well hello what is a parent for? the blame game doesnt work. your right I tell ya I would rather have some folks stoned than straight talking to me. self medication is the reason many do abuse drugs and alcohol. so what about our ability to have health care affordable health care for all americans? and what about the school system demanding compliance and the dr. having a pill at the ready for even toddlers who seem depressed today? the issue of why and how and when is it a problem is massive really. our society wants drugs to fix ills that are complex but they do not .

the fact folks who do not smoke pot thinks those who do are crazy is not new. the fact is many small companies can not afford drug testing. if it is legal then the abuse would go into the work place making for intoxicated workers, more illness, more accidents more trouble .

ok so you do not idolize men, I also have large people in my own family who are indeed worshipped for the position they have in life and work. I just love them because we can spend time together loving one another. I aslo have an attitude of so what , in fact one of the famous talk shows on tv had the children of famous rock stars on and what life was like for them .. they all said they just wanted their dad to spend more time and love them and today see them as just their "dads". few if any regular posters worship any othese guys in the way. your not special in your thinking really not. sounds like a bully to me. and it generates fear in people. we were young and he had the authority in our life , people wanted that they wanted a taste of that kind of power a bully must have those who want to live off his power and say so to survive . ever see a high school crowd?

ok I will put this hereIM not sure where to put this thought. last night on house i watched a clip of the show, it was a young man who was very smart very brillant in his thinking gifted really. One of the Dr.'s offered him an internship at the hospital all paid so he could cultivate his talent. the young man declined, he came from a simple very large family, that owned a business what they lacked in money they shared in numbers and involvment of each others life, for good and bad . the young man declined seeking knowledge and education even with his mind that was so eager to learn and work with facts that could save a life or change the world. when asked why he would choose to stay in the hard working never getting any money often time fighting family business, he said "when he looked at the hands of the drs. all of them had nothing on them no ring , no one, they were alone. and he didnt want that for his life. then it showed the dr. eating supper alone reading a text about some new research being done. my point? i do think knowledge chages a person. no not all. but look at the folks who study the bible to the point they now eat alone!! in the sense of no one really goes to that place it is lonely. even vpw said it was a lonely place to be for a prophet. the divorce rate when one thinks he knows the truth of the bible and the spouse cant compete soars. with a type of justifying pride of having the truth over the vow made before God to love one another till death do ya part. kids. parents. why because a person has the knowledge of the bible or "the truth". the part of knowledge brings sorrow is a truth i know when we can explain something we understand it. it is when we can NOT explain an idea or happening we wonder in the mystery of it all and seek a Higher power to enlighten or comfort our souls. so sorrow comes in when we know the facts and yet the world does not, and we may not be able to ever educate anyone enough to have this knowledge or answer so we see the struggle and it is a sad thing. I knew it ! we scream when it all hits the fan! knowledge does indeed bring sorrow. to say knowledge puffeth up like a evil person digs up the knowing of something to hurt another isnt correct, it is just that in the knowing of soemthing we are different than the rest and for the reason I do not understand yes often timess a lesser, or a king to be worshiped. sems folks cant do a happy medium. Paul knew Jesus by an experience he had, and he had great knowledge of how the religous folks operated and thought , funny thing is with the educated mind he did better really as far as getting the job done, after he went blind folks were frightened of him, with good reason. and he was alone .

the thing about believing is your have to believe it! huh? people filter life with what they know as truth. what we truly believe is some deep stuff and it changes (hopefully) with education, and even if I dare say inspiration. Jesus is the master teacher and he is the truth never having to deal with the pesky sin factor (lucky him huh?) i mean He was able to over ride his own mind and NOT think anything but truth his enitire life. the rest of us can not. some are better at the manner of thoughts but we all struggle with what we truly believe inside in our core. we are weak we are frail we are many thoughts that can damage us. at any given moment in time and that is all it takes. so faith is different faith is trusting in what a LORD can do believing is what I can do. i know a difference. why are some prayers answered and some not? well it isnt about wants and needs so much for our own life it is about HIS good and will be done. of course His will no one gets hurts BUT He God works with what he has. any man or woman who states they have never had fear is a stone cold liar, we should be afraid life is an ordeal over and over again. the hope is what we are going for really and so many times we lose that in our vision of what life is suppose to be and hold on to the wishful thinking.

change is all in how you "frame" it. if you want to change your job it is a change . change is difficult for everyone. all change will cost you something. and even when it is your choice it is a stressful thing . it takes a year to two years to accept change and in between that time are stages or progression that are indeed predictable. and many not a good place to be mentaly, the important thing is do not get stuck in one stage and stop moving on toward the goal. a caeer conselor is good. they do cost you some money, but it is a investment in you. many cities and town have a federal program in place that are a very good warehouse for those in transition or looking for a job. or to boost your skills. basic skill are there how to build a resume how to change jobs how to interview well. in this city the govt. has granted 9 million dollars for this resource. 3 years. this is a small city. go grap what they have they can provide funding for school, training etc. chanage is what it is frame it in a different way look at life as an adventure to live in not a trap to suffer in. no one can change your life, but you. if your stuck then get unstuck. i do not mean to be flip but life has so many unpredictable changes that hit us like a train on a track why fret over this area when you are clearly the one in control of your life? find the resources you need to educate yourself on how to do what you want to do every town and city has an unemployment center.. and you can use their reference even if your working of course, go to your nearby campus look at what their conselor reccomends, take a test on what area you would be best suited for and go from there.

why is this in a doctrinal section? to me it is common sense. one day i learned to walk I learned if i did not do it in this way I would fall down and get hurt, so i mastered walking many years ago. step by step. so today i woke up and i remembered walking when i was a baby and i used that knowledge to do it today ta da!! why is this something you struggle with or want to discuss? I am assuming your thinking of the bible verse that says "forget the past or soemthing". that is about the time i was learning to walk and fell into a tree and hurt my self and cried. I can forget about it now I have mastered walking and learned to look for the objects in my path. it is behind me because i aint gonna do that again. or i can get stuck and still be crying about how much that hurt and how unfair that lesson in walking was for me. im stuck as a victim. can you go a litle further in your exspectations of where you want this thread to go? doctrinal or not.
