A vet goes to school many years longer than a medical dr for people. dr's for people have to learn ONe system and body we all are the same a vet has to learn well ask noah ! the cost and expense and years put in is a life time commintment way beyond most occupations. their college is longer than what a md for people do and just as expensive. it is a heart job they do not go into it for money. + so many times people just do not pay their bills they want a miricle and then walk away from the time and work, just go to another vet. pets do not have to have insurance like people do to get treated . they have to see their patients be abused and mistreated and uncared for and then fix them and no questions asked for the most part. i do not think vet play on people emotions. i know pet do tho and that is because i believe the pets i have had loved me and i am obligated to them for the best life possible. i feed wild animals i love animals tho very much i have turtles. well i have animals i love and i think they love me. so it is an emotional thing. vets are suppose to heal those we love and we want it for free or close to it! i respect vets. and i respect few occupations really . my sister said the same thing your hubby is saying that vets are a rip off.. they keep having you come back she siad and she has not once gotten shots for her dogs or cats, makes me feel angry. then do not get pets. alot of her pets die... mine tend to live beyond any life exspectation for the animal i had a gold fish for over a decade a pig for 13 years.... that is me. i know when i say to my vet "he is my best friend" he knows what i mean and will do all he can to make sure he is ok. to me that is priceless.

i have heard of dogs eating the cats or their own poop. mho it cant be good can it? put the box up where he cant reach anf the cats can jump! so they do nothing for a head injury? happy he is better.

i do not have much money either. the thing is i couldnt live with the guilt if I didnt take him. and even thought something could be wrong and then he died. i mean if he dies andyou did all you could do it is a little easier but to think i didnt go becuase of money um no not my beast. he do not ask for much ya know ? crap see now im worried but this is me if you can sleep and wait to see go for it. after my cat injury for the love of god we had to stay up all night to make sure he was ok the vet didnt want him jumping or anything not even the stairs he can a head injury due to a rabid squirell i do not want to talk about how my cat lost a fight with a squirell .

I have been where your at with my pet. he was acting funny one nite i noticed he went to bed without me. doesnt happen. so when i went to bed i pulled back the covers and blood was on the sheets. i FREAKED OUT! thank God my nine year old kid kept her self together. i called the emergency dept and i was so nuts they asked one question is he dead? good lord... ya know! we went in for an emergency vist.. the thing is the stress of an injury can make them dehydrate and then that can get serious. im glad i went... i love that beast they didnt do much gave him some fluids and a pain pill and he went home to come back in a few days. another time swame beast had a bit gone bad .. i didnt know about it till he didnt move cost me alot more then. it is up to you of course but a early vist might save his little life and make the future vist if he is sick less . dehydration is a big issue he could die from it in sleep they give my cat iv it isnt to much money and he felt much better. poor guy.

It is kind of like "if you dare ask me " type of thing/ the threat of being exposed as a trouble maker and gossip and misinformed is clear if you want to speak of all the " talk running around cyber space about personal business" geez no one wants that do they now? christians are fed guilt and guilt by association, shame on you runs deep in those who want to earn they way to Gods love while screaming grace in one side of the lip they are claiming the other guy is the worse sinner (thank God we can refer to him/her takes the focus off anything i might be ashamed of) it is the game religous folks love to play.

MD's do what they thnk will work. that does not mean it will work and the patient recovers. it is also a wait and see method. and try this and that .

I will say the part that bothers me the most in his letter. it is the part where he proclaims Mrk is not "in the will of God" and then the threat of" greivious consequences. " ya know im just tired real tired of people sicing God on His beloved children. why can they not speak in normal tones like everyone eles? something like OK Mark Im PIZZED OFF! and your gonna pay! now that we all could understand. even if it all about a "cash cow" John is the one who talks about turning lemon into lemonaid and "keeping it real". no they have to go and make God a big bully who is out to get you if you refuse to comply to what they think of the situation. it is a bully threatening statement. frightening really. very controling and makes the Lord seem as if he is the mafia for their mininstry. I do not like it at all.

They know alot of information they have studied alot. Both Johns are very serious about what the bible means to their entire life. practical application ? see it is like the engineer who figures the math exactness and then when the rocket flies it falls apart and they take it personal regardless of the the pilot flying the plane. How could that happen it was measured and we worked for everything we have ever known on that formula! it is sometimes very much important to fix the ego that is being fed.... and it isnt being fed by pilots amoung us, the plane is what they want to make sure has their name on it! pilots are a dime a dozen and hey they might have hurt their precious plane with error! they erase people from the equation I think sure God first,(bible and word study first even) well the fact remain God doesnt get hurt people do. But it has never been about people it is the word and nothing but the word. people are just a side line involved in the work they do.

ok it may be a tool they use both ways I have no clue on why or how they do what they do . i believe the folks who set their life up to "instruct" others on how to live so God loves ya , Often feel the students they crave need them . a sense of entitlement and purpose can become warped to set them apart from reality so to speak. dam shame really such a burden for both parties involved.

Many of the posters at greasespot are very comfortable with the internet. Your experience with this type of communication is clear, you have a great deal of difficulty understanding why anyone wouldnt just love this form and type for discussing issues. Your life is close to what the net offers. John Lynn is in his mid sixties, he has worked for many years as a writer, as a roving guy speaking to people about this and that in person, traveling, and teaching and seminars. i am a few years younger than John and i wont go where many of you feel very comfortable with on the net. why? well several factors mostly my age and experience in life.. How we got things done in the past. not to say everyone who is "older" cant embrace all what this type of offers some do, Im not gerneralizing but i have found the baby boomers while enjoying this internet stuff we do not exactly think it is the best way of communicating nor the one we would feel the most confortable with. STF has put out a tape on communicating and the internet was way down on the list of effective communication e-mail being last . It falls to reason a public forum would even be lower on the scale of what they believe is worthwhile communication. I do not think it is all personal against grease spot. my sisters in their 60's and 70's do not have ANY desire to involve their life within the cyber space world. I realize it is difficult to understand such reasoning to people who love and use this as a mainstay . but the fact remains. On top of all of this the law suits and gossips with MG and Karen Ann , has surely increased the groups awareness of "who said what when". just something to consider. When John states he only wants to speak to those willing to communicate on a different level than what greasespot offers i think many different factors play into the decision not just a unwillingness to deal with the particular posters here. the truth if john or anyone from stf is lurking so can those suing him lurk and gain information , so i can understand why it is probably best not to discuss anything here that can be printed out and used by an attorny in court.

I do not believe God made His people to be on their own fighting the battle with their christ and just letting the rest of the world know what they came up with. I do think it is a group thing I do think it is a family thing I do think it is the body with many members that work together to do Gods will. the bible speaks of seeking consel the bible has volumes of records of several people and enitre communities working together to get the job done. I have many children and as a their mom i have a personal relationship with EACH child and their spouses and their children but together we are a family which is a strong unit that comes together in faith for the good of all of us. God made EVE for adam because it isnt good to be alone with just God He wanted His creation to have other people with HIM. to work and play and love one another. Jesus says commands we love one another as HE loves us. and He often had crowds listening and following Him as He taught. As far as puting anything abve what Christ is in your life well it isnt just leaders, people chose to worship above God it is many many things and relationships and stuff that they feel must be Gods will for their life or solutions to the problems at hand and many times those situations things people are very removed from God , your job, your relationships your house , your money, your self esteem, your need for power or to be right. you can even worship the bible and it can be out of alignment of Gods will and turn into idiolitry. it is a tricky world with many temptations. that is why Jeus says to LOVE one another to help one another out, Jesus got involved with people He invested time and money and love into people, good bad or indiffernt He Loves us all. we by your estimation should look only to HIM then ? nah SEEK ye first the kingdom of Ggod and all these things will be added unto you. those who speak the loudest about false leaders and prophets of doom speak of fearing people not loving God or people. If your relaionship is so tight with Jesus Christ , why fear anything false then?

im spiritual, I want to be tax exempt ! I think the concept should be out lawed. but and yet consider how then would the rich find a tax write off donating to charity hmmm? get it? donations are a tax exempt remember? makes one think doesnt it? as long as you can claim a half million goes to charity this year and it is not counted as a taxable income and written off then would you really care what the little dog houses are made of what material?

I have not read this thread yet but i will reply my thought and iy is a lesson i learned in twi. you can break it all down and say what is a right amount or fair and never agree who "deserves " what with Jesus no ne deserves anything.. He freely gives life to us. end rant. as far as these ministries getting money for me the issue is this. they put god in the mix I bought alot of crap from twi because i thought God was in the doing of it all.. a crazy spin really. to use God as a dvantage point to make alot of money is unfair I think because people are desperate for answers miricles and saving grace. and there stands Jesus christ raised from the dead saying "well excuse me it was not exactly free as I did die for you all". but folks want entertainment.. i see nothing wrong with buying a dvd or going to a movie and paying for the work it took to get this funny or drama show to you for entertainment you enjoy. they say what it is and they have a right to live well for it because they are in the business of entertaining you . the selling of Christ and His grace reaches farther into accountability I truly believe that, and to use God and His Love to live in a manner that those who are searching for answers will never know is more than unfair. does she sell christ or does she sell entertainment?

Jim is right, it is litter. in my town you get fined for putting up those pesky garage sale signs and for solicitation and handing out flyers is just that (advertisment )unwanted, to petition ) and here the police will ask you to move on and give you a ticket for litter and solication. im not trying to dash your dreams but i suggest you check with your local zoning and ordinance before heading out or asking somone eles to do this, it could be illegal . Also the value packs are delivered by the federal govt the US mail system, and they go through the regular checks and balance for safety.. remember the threat of the white powder? here it would be prosecuted as a crime if you left papers of any type unless registered and oked by officials. and yes i agree with it. or eles every jo with a great idea or a need would leave something to heck with that! sorry but really.

your paranoid? Im in NY not to far from where the plane crashed in Penn. how many people look up to the sky when an airplane goes by? we do to see if it will land on our house or fly into the building or our head. that is a " paranoid" that does not go away from 911. do not even start with what do ya think when the helicopers come by doing rounds. go see the big apple for the vacation you will see some concern, it doesnt go away. we are not prepared for the murdering sobs, but we are better than we were , no mercy.

it is true brain damage can change a personality , to the degree you may not "know" his behaviours or reactions or likes or dislikes anymore. I worked with teens who had been in car accidents or skiing or trampoline accidents that had very harsh injuries to the brain . many of their parents walked away from any relationship with them out of the grief of believing they are not the child they raised . so it is a choice some may make. i think it is ok and up to the person and how much they can handle. the brain is not "just an organ" it is a miricle organ that the medical community knows very little about. I know folks with brain injuries that have good days and they remember the past they are "normal" by a standard set by the medical community. then the next they are angry hostile and do not know who anyone is. the brain can and does heal and make new paths to rehab its self. the rehab available today is absoluting outstanding and i have personality witnessed full score stroke victims with total inability recover 100% within just WEEKS! honestly the rehab today is that good. it depends on the type length and many factors that contribrute to how the brain was/ is damaged. Drs tend to give out the worse case information due to liability and other issues.. wait and see and hope. if he is so very different you can not handle the stress of caring for him, it is ok , your not alone in that, you will find support and help to care for him and can have a relationship on terms you can handle and be ok with. i believe that is how your dad would want it to be for you if he was healthy. my friend was an only child , and she and her husband lived with her parents their entire life in the same home, her mom in her 90's got demented and one morning as my friend called her "mom" the woman slapped her across her face and got very very upset that this women would call her mom. in her moms mind she was a young girl still a virgin and this woman insulted her and hurt her badly. to call her mom insist she was her mom was not something she could accept. it hurt my frined deeply , but she understood and then needed to get additional help for her mom . it is ok , dad will still love you and on good days will know and surprise you with his recall. take one day at a time a situation such as brain injury does not call for a script, find the best rehab you can , and hope he gets well.. but accept him for who he is today , if you can. If you can not and i get that I really do know your not alone and the choice you make will be fine and he will be fine.

this world kills me. it is ok and right to be angry and say or write words that slander and gossip and hurt people , children really, that God loves each so very much. but to feel sadness to feel sorry to feel pain is so wrong you must sek therepy or need a pill or be in a cult and brain washed, is this what you think? God loves us all and Jesus forgives not just YOU because you decided your not so bad as all what they must be doing wrong, is that what this is all about again? Jesus heard the same issues in his group" who do you really love more Jesus "?they asked and He sat them all down for some bread and wine and said lets discuss who did this wrong and oh yeah the time john really sinned worse than the rest of you takes three points off his total tally, not looking so good for mary she was a doozy in her day even if I did forgive you all .. God forgives because of Jesus Christ not because you can keep score better than the next guy. for me sadness is better than to stew and fret and strife with one another, and i think Jesus would agree to put down angry feelings and settle with your brother before the day ends. they are involved in a business which involed money that supports people who really do not know how eles to survive and it comes down to a fight for it. it is sad.

When you speak evil of any opponent it looks and sounds as if your attacking and is negative. In my small town we have had the same mayor for two decades, the new guys campaign is they need change and when i ask them why do we have the problems? it is of course the current mayor problem. he isnt getting the job done. now many people will feel attacked at that not because they love the mayor just the tactics being used to win an agruement is considered a low blow because who has not been accussed of not getting it right? So it puts you in the bad corner of now PROVING just how much worse he is than you. and your credits are that good? see what i mean. We all want clean campiagns why? because it is to difficult to filter out personal feeling and attacks and to prove your point and often taken as a low blow for "personal reasons". most are indeed sensitive to it. look at the race for the white house. i think you should leave his name out of it and allow your ideals to speak for their won merit.
