i looked at the list last night and i think it said something like over 700 guest were on the web page! i am always amazed at the numbers. the poll is interesting but (not to sound like a broken record) not exactly a measure without many various problems the least of which is lack of vertification which is ironic:. whitedove i do not understand how you can scream about proof and the lack of being able to vertify facts.. and then use that poll as evidence ..

The voice of offense. While involved with twi I learned alot of things but mostly what was ingrained in my mind , was the world is not a good place that "they" are out to get ya! "they " being just about anyone who was not involved in twi and/or doing what they said at time how they said it when they said etc... so the world is an evil place. was the theme to extreme at twi. anything bad that happened to ya at first was the devil then it became names, of actual and that is when head began to roll and the fight or flight began. I was in more than a few fellowships groups of people that had this background and they are all the same .. regular people with regular life going on. life is difficult! it is! life is mesy and complex and ugly and beautiful and many things for all. by twi standards we are offended just o be alive and breathing! honestly . if something happenes to a person with this background it is imediately the other guys problem because we have sonship rights and are constantly attacked and it is the devil working through you. we learned to eat one another alive, very very well. at the expense of real education of what life is, how very joyful and happy our Lord is in our life. not to metion many came away with real life scars of poverty and ignorance of how to maintain a quality of life without twi's strong holds on how it is suppose to be done. the next goal was to go wow or to somhow get into the corps or to have a succesful fellowship which pleased everyone. very difficult to live a full life with such constraints. many have no clue on what life is without putting what a leader or the bible or even God would say in the next thought. so people became master of the B*tch master of the blame and masters at being a VICTIM of this world at large. with reason. we learned to be victims we learned to be offended instead of finding the peace of Jesus or even life at its most wonderous oppurtunity. many either forgot how or just never learned our brain was so very wrapped up in being hurt by satan or one another. consider life beyond, you can leave twi but the hard work comes in when you must leave the mind set of how that group operates!!! not so easily done because it takes risk , you have to think for yourself, you have to make choices , and worst of all for ex cult head, you have to take responsibility for those choices and not say or think it is all about what " they" did to me as an excuse for something when it doesnt work out exactly as you have it promised in your head. They have no power over you, at one time they could be defined as those who have not yet taken the pfal class, they were wrong evil bad and to be dismissed, then for some "they became the twi leaders or co-workers or friends and family who offended you. this us and them mentality is wrong, it was a cult in the sense it taught us all that our community was only our own self! it isnt, We have a life to live and the life God grants us each and every one ,whether you think God is real or not ,is always bigger than any of them. us and them mentality is not a real thing. do you still carry it? when something is frustrating to you is your first thoght to try to figure out what THEY did wrong to you to make this happen? or do you consider we are a community at large which is as large as the moon and the stars and we can and should be responsible for our own choices no matter how it turns out. That is the freedom of knowing Christ as a risen Saviour friiends, and what makes life worth living and full of love and seeking and answers and truth. mom always told you what matters is on the inside, right? so please stop looking for out side sources that offend you and hurt you and frustrating and look within to seek the answers , and then when you find them you will know joy and pride and accomplishment and be all that life offers you. or keep blaming the other guy , and revictimizing yourself over and over. everyone has misfortune in life those who overcome it seem to be those who can continue to love and seek and know we all need one another to survive one another. They are you, and you are them, stop the hate, and love can then enter in. The world is a nice place and love is out there, if you can make room for it.

I can only speculate on what would have happened in the chain of events of that time of my life if the "minister" had not told me i was marked, i cried and I asked what that means and he said i was not allowed to go to fellowship and that he would hold a meeting and tell them no i do not think you would have prefered to been marked it was horrible. then but not today. but how Jesus healed me in the end so good news. i went back you know years later in the 90's it was an odd group huh? of course i ran into way people on the street or whatever and they would tell me what happened to me and let me tell you they were so wrong so very wrong on why i was marked and even i couldnt tell them different and it was my life they knew so much about. ok? that is what im saying about how people are they get together and fill in the balnks oftentimes irregardless of any facts even with the actual person telling them different!! yall are into testimony and that is mine really , i learned how people can be and how twi were numb to reality beyond belief . and it doesnt go away unless serious work is done and of course i believe the Lord helping you become whole again

I get that I thank God I was marked and avoided because i had time with people who where not involved in the way so when i went back they all sounded like the teacher on the peanut cartoon voice and i just couldnt hear it anymore. thankl God although i did cry for six months and I really did think we were all gonna die a horrible death and God didnt love me any more.

when i think about how it was then and how I think now I am just amazed and in a greater sense thankful it is over and now I know what for the love of God took one hell of a toll to learn. I better check my own self is so ingrained in me i can not even consider what another says without looking within first now. In twi I allowed a leader tell me because it was her sister who had married the limb leader and she knew that guy and they were friends and nothing and i mean anything i could possibly think about him negative was just from satan. and besides I was a "babe " in the word and never took the advanced class so not worth even listening to. at the end of the day I was right and people paid a very high price for my willing to trust another because of group think and friends in high places etc. I swear to God almighty it will never ever ever happen again on my watch. and that in a nut shell is who I am now forever changed . so i do get why you guys butch up and do what you do I just think it is very dangerous and how people get hurt. they were good at manipulation and i was one very stupid young girl.. i changed into a person who must always check and evaluate the truth i have inside and be dammed who is teling me different. one really bad mistake can change your life forever.

In USA we have safe guards to protect us from such a mentality. The media is a contender no doubt. yes i agree the standard for places like the internet are much "lower". and acceptable for some. public opion is what runs America we decide what we want as a crime and how to establish it the people do decide. as a group we are the ones who put the laws on the books. is that herd mentality in a sense yes it is.. but a much larger "herd" ususaly prevails correct? the problem with hear say is just that anyone can say anything they want and no standard is set for truth.... it puts all at risk for the next tryant with the bigger herd or mouth. the people do decide what we want in usa , it is the standard, we can and do change our ideals although a very slow process i still feel it is better than a dicator deciding for one and all. when we go before a jury the jury is not our friends and coworker or buddies in crime anyone like that would be eliminated for conflict of interest etc... it is peers a cross section of society who are given what we the people have for laws to decide if the are guilty or innocent.. they do not just get in a room and say WELL I THINK and i know tommy and i know suzy and they are good people so they are innocent. Or geez i heard from my neighbor that guy has a dog and it once pooped on her lawn and he never picked it up so she is guilty! in fact you can not even know those who are trial in any way. why not?because of the very issues that inclusion and herd mentaility brings upon justice. what i hear you saying with this lower standard ideal is look we are greaspotter we have our own standard that we believe to be true and if it doesnt work for you then your ging to be a very bad person and prosecuted here by us in our "lower standard"s, because we out number you.. and if that isnt intimidation ya know why even bother being rational or to seek any type of truth at all?

I know when i was marked my god i was soo paranoid so very paranoid i really thought life was going to end because i was not allowed to to go twig! it is a powerful force and feeling and some here remember it well, GSC allows one to feel less alone less evil about leaving twi no matter how you left. where eles can a person go for that? the offshoots drag you into their agenda , and that works for soem but not all who leave. priceless really. my daughter gave me the movie cast away for my birthday, and it was NOT funny, because she had just gotten engaged and moving far away. I do not know but the idea of being away and coming back to find everyone has "moved on" is not healthy for a woman who raised her children and they all are living life now. my goal was just that and then the youngest gives me that MOVIE! I think they only knew me as the mom and dad and the work I did and the life i made for us. and now they are gone and i must be freaking tom hanks alone at a cross roads wondering what the hell to do?? crap maybe I am. i do not know. I get you totaly. I live alone with cats. This past holiday i went to the family thing and I realized everyone had a "partner" of some degree or other but me. I felt like i was out numbered I cant explain it (your really good with words about how it feels) you say your the third wheel at times i can feel like they also invite me out of obligation or to never metion pity for my blight. no not really they love me IM cerain although it is certainly clear IM the odd (special?) one. Im not at least i do not think I am. they are convinced I just must be lonely all the time. For me it has been important to not forget, i can not forget ,it stunned my life in such a way it changed the moon and the stars as i knew them no forgeting for me, But i did prosecute and found some justice at the time, and will indeed wait for the vengence of the LORD. for me that is enough. and peace is brought into my life by not forgetting all the Lord has done for me then and now and forever.

Some people regret the choices they made while involved with twi, and now blame the organization for the outcome of those personal choices such as having an abortion, not having children, never getting married, wasted money given to them , lack of higher education, etc. the fact a person feels "peer pressure" or professional pressure , or even financial pressure to make a choice that has not been good for their life, in hind sight many years later ,is NOT a crime. a shame but not illegal in any sense of the word. By laws written "the people" can not just accuse others of wrong doing without some responsibility to be honest anf factual to the best of our ability. i once had a neighbor many years tell the police a lie about me, after an investigation was done she went to a jail that night for lying to the police, we had a mom report her child missing here when in fact she knew the where the child was the enitre time the investigation was being held, she was also prosecuted. slander and lying to authorities is a crime.
