  1. Not to mention that epilou is about how the prophecy was given and not about how it is received and understood.
  2. If it is it's a damn good forgery. Having seen all of their hand writing plenty of times, it seems authentic to me.
  3. That's exactly how I felt about it and why I ended up just skimming through it.
  4. I've skimmed through POP and was left wondering what specificly CG was saying the BOT was doing wrong, too. I was amazed when I saw the scanned document above. I still don't get what they were admitting to. Did Howard actually believe he helped kill VPW? (I thought smoking did this.) Then later LCM said it was Geer who killed VPW. WTF?
  5. Both approaches have the same intent. Controlling the meaning of the scriptures (and thus the followers). The RC approach about it open about it, the TWI approach is cloked in the notion that the student is actually thinking things through for themselves.
  6. Interestingly this is how some Catholic theologians handle this section. The church (Peter and the apostles)is the origin of the scripture, there for the church (the Pope and his posse) should give the interpretation.
  7. New class came out last March 06. John Rupp teaches first two sessions Steve Longley teaches sessions 3 to 6 David Chavoustie teaches sessions 7 to 12 Class is more structured than either PFAL or WAP (originals both rambled all over the place) but teaches much of the same doctrine. The teachers speak extended quotations of both previous classes as their own words and Chavoustie does a mean VPW. Credit is given to VPW, LCM gets no mention at all. The sessions all bare the same titles as the previous WAP but some sessions are complete retooled. Yes the Gen 3 eve/homo teaching is gone, but many other less sensational but equally illconceived concepts remain. One addition is the pre-recorded session reviews by Bev Coyle, who's smile shines so brightly in makes that view just a bit uneasy.
  8. Pinklady, I think you are taking a important step already in identifying the wrong teachings and ideas that used to keep you in bondage. Seeing what exactly was wrong with a particular teaching and what was right enough about it that it baited us. The understanding will come in waves, but it will help you to heal. I am sorry for what you have been through and what you have lost. Even though you feel regret for what you wish you had seen earlier, you can be thankful that you did eventually see it and stand up for yourself. That's not an easy thing to do, but you have. It is also helpful to have the support of friends and there are supportive friends to be had - one place is here. One more piece of advice. Try to be more selfish. By that, I mean if you are coming out of a spiritually abusive relationship(s) you are probably used to surpressing what you want, what you think, what you like. You might even feel like you have lost your identity. Find it again by doing what pleases you. If you don't know what you enjoy anymore, don't be afraid to try new things. As you find things you enjoy you are finding yourself. Reach toward the future and make the most of what lies ahead. Wishing you the best, sF
  9. That reminds me of another pet peeve. Thesaurus abuse. "Manifold, verigated, multifarous, greatness of his wonderful loving goodness." That's probably true. It's nice to vent a bit. 50 reasons, eh? Perhaps I will ask you to name them. Nottawayfer, Are you some kind of detective? You seem to be hot on the trail. Read my posts. I'm with you on this, OT. I like to insert an expletive into the word as in un-*@#%-believable or unbe-*@#%-lievable I wonder.
  10. Everyday I hear wonderful people describing our wonderful ministry with such wonderful adjectives as "wonderful". Some wonderful day soon I will snap and I'm going to put my wonderfully large foot up their wonderful @ss! Note to TWI wonderful watchdogs: You're killing me. Find another modifier! It's called a Thesaurus, you might want to check into it.
  11. On their way to Washington I believe.
  12. Litigious, yes. It also appears to be longer than most of the content on the site. It is just curious to have so big a disclaimer and so little total content.
  13. Lindy, That would have been funny, but that's not what I meant. There are other valve like structures in the body all named with a sphincter derived name. Apparently, your tear ducts for example have a sphincter. (The a$$ valve is just the most famous sphincter. ) I can't say for sure I'm describing it precisely in medical terms but the info was all long these lines. I'll have to check - I may still have that handout.
  14. 'member when LCM was all excited about the Sphinx and sent the Corps a handout of all the sphincter muscles in the body. Turns out there are like 26. The sphinx is like a sphincter in that it "puckers together" the constellations of LEO and VIRGO.
  15. I wouldn't think he was ever "in the Word." In hindsight, I doubt how much he really studied the Bible either. Used to think he was the most "in the Word" dude out there.
  16. Pretty sure the weekly report persists. There was something similar for WOW's back in the 90's. You wouldn't do less in the Prevailing Word would you? Seriously though, I'm almost positive they still do it.
  17. Heard of this book as well from John or Beth at an ROA some time ago. I seem to remember them saying they had only bound a small number of copies. Maybe 25 or 250, something like that. May be hard to come by. Here's my favorite unscriptural TWI platitude: "EVERYTHING GIVES OFF SOMETHING!" Better be damn careful what you're stuff gives off. And if your an artist, you really better watch it. Attention TWI watchdogs: Let me break it down for you. All color is a reflection or refraction of light. God is all light. So shut the H up about evil colors and good colors. You're attributing evil to God. How you like me now...
  18. I alluded to this in an earlier thread regarding who is running TWI. I am interest to know if anyone here knows with certainity if he lived in a TWI owned home in Toledo, and if he infact still does. Anyone know if he receives any kind of $$$ from TWI still? That would be f'd up IMO.
  19. Actually, Belle, the Decade of Prevailing is the name of this here ten years. Decade of Victory is so 90's. I think the one before that was the Decade of Word Over The World. or something. On the bright side, there is no "Century of Service", or "Millinium of Manifesting all nine all the time."
  20. I was thinking about LCM when I posted the original question. He is said to live and work in Toledo, OH and I only recently found the article online about the property alledgedly owned by The Way in Toledo. Kinda fishy. If Craig is not involved in the direction of the Way (I doubt he really is), is he on the payroll in any capacity, or is he receiving any financial support from The Way. He has been on "probation" for years now, and when people have asked about his status or standing with the ministry, or really any information about Craig, the reply has been "that's not your business, the ministry doesn't reveal people's private matters." Well that's disputable, but since Craig lead the whole ministry and affected loads of people throughout the ministry, it kind of elevates these matters to a bigger scale than his private business. I'm guessing Rosalie is probably running things.
  21. John, I think I just got what your were saying. PC at work not a server, right? You are thinking of GoToMyPC picked up a few years ago by Citrix. Try this link http://www.gotomypc.com Never worked with this product, but have heard good things about it. cheers, sF
  22. There are a variety of system policies that limit client printing to varying degrees. (eg. "no client printers", "default client printer only", "local printers only", or "all printers"). I suspect you are still running into a restriction on the terminal server. If you connect to the network printer with an IP port on your local computer, it should look like any other physically connected printer to your Terminal server. Regarding the routing issue with your IP scheme, this would be a problem only if attempting IP printing directly from the TS. In the scenario I describe above, the print job gets handed to your PC first and then to the printer, thus no routing to worry about. There are typically demos available, yes. I am not clear if you own the client AND server side of this operation, or just the client. Citrix needs to be on the terminal server and the PC in order to work. I am highly experienced in this area of technology. PM me if you want to discuss in more detail.
