What I loved a long time ago was the fellowship, how sweet it was. That was probably why some people stayed as long as they did (those who left TWI) was they felt connected. In a church I'd been a part of for 6 years, I felt that same intimacy closeness so I knew it was possible to get that elsewhere in a church!! Jan

If Rosie & Donna... VP's judgment was how good?
Jan replied to JustThinking's topic in About The Way
Well, I think we've all learned that the "love of God" can take various forms (not LOL). But I've heard it both ways from people, but who knows really? Does anyone suggest we call them and ask "hey are you gay?" Hmmm. I say drop it. Jan -
Oh ok thanks Jan

These forums do not enable me to quote someone, but thanks to the person who said they prayed over the phone book. I did that the other night and like you, I was Pentecostal but felt drawn to a Presby church (PCA). I talked to the pastor the next day and we had a nice conversation. Looking forward to going there on Sunday. :)--> Thing is, I probably never would think that church was an option, but what I'm hearing here changed my thinking to at least consider it. Jan Jan

I agree Lorna 100%. That is true of anyone though in the Way. I mean, they've made their choices, I'm an outsider now so it really does not matter. God sees all. Jan -
Ah,a baptist church. Is it southern or some other kind? What helped you choose this church? Jan

Seems very sad a lot of leaders wives became controlling if they were not already, in order to survive all this. Jan -
Hi PersonalEntertainr; Umm. you crave fellowship? It doesn't sound like you are giving people much of a chance here... Jan

Wayfer Not, I can identify with the Pentecostal where people encourage the pastor "preach it, come on, etc." I liked that, it showed people were enthusiastic. Jan
