  1. And....his declaration as certain death approached: "He wished he wasn't the man he chose to be."
  2. Yeah....I was going to edit it, but what the heck. It was "past tense" because wierwille was on his deathbed and there was no way he could go back and change what happened. He WAS the man he chose to be!!
  3. "I wish I were the man I know to be." I wish......is "wish" in the category of BELIEVING? I were......past tense. Too late. the man.....yeah, da man. Dats riiight. I know......get to the place where you know that you know. to be.......to be a man of integrity or a man of lust? If wishing were horses, beggars would ride.
  4. In pfal, wierwille told us that he was disgusted with church leaders who had only taught "around the word" and never taught him The Word. And, those theological commentaries in his collection.....3,000 or so.....he said he hauled them ALL to the dump. While in Europe, vpw said that there was this biblical scholar on the other side of the English Channel that "he wouldn't waste his time on. Why? Wierwille had forgotten more of the word than that guy would ever know." Remember in pfal when wierwille stated....."Even if we NEVER saw any signs or miracles we'd have the greatest time going [to heaven]." Did any one else wonder [like I did] what the heck was THAT supposed to mean? Here, this supposedly great teacher dismissed the great workings of spiritual impact, signs and miracles, as no biggie. Like our standing together and holding hands is of greater significance? What??? Or, when it rained for several days during corps week and rock of ages prep was behind schedule: Wierwille blamed the corps for NOT BELIEVING. Why the scapegoating? Where was wierwille's believing? Heck, he was the "mog of the universe" doncha know. Ppfffftttt. Or, when wierwille retires and is irrelevant to every trustee-decision and is no longer in the spotlight constantly. The adulation subsides and wierwille pouts to Geer. Why is he being discarded? Or, when wierwille has cancer and is nearing his deathbed. He wonders why "his people" have forsaken him? No admission of cancer. No public admission of needing prayers. No admission of sins and shortcomings. Just accusatory meanderings. Scapegoating. Reminds me of the Old Testament Saul record: "It's the people." Wierwille used "scapegoating" throughout his lifetime. Wierwille blamed others for shortcomings. In the end, he wished he'd been another type of man: "He wished he'd been the man he knew to be." Would that be a man who lived with integrity and wasn't scapegoating his way thru life? .
  5. The arrogance of "standing on The Word" only allows a trickle of blood flow to their hands and feet. Just enough to waddle over to the auditorium and sit down again. Just enough to hold the twi-hymnal and sing praises to twi's household. Just enough to stand, sit and smile when appropriately conditioned to do so. And, just enough to waddle back to the OSC and sit back down at their desks. See. They've done their duty. Some have been chosen to work full-time. Some, the little people, are to wait on tables and "move the word" in the highways and byways on the field. Some are to chosen to work at the spiritual epicenter. Those on the field are to run classes and labor to get recruits to the advanced class level. The Pharisees have their callings. The followers have their mandates. To follow is divine. To dissent is devilish.
  6. Yeah.....I hear what you're saying that some never get it. But....it does matter that "we've nailed the ninety-five theses of GSC" to twi's doors. The open discussions and back-and-forth substantive positions of both sides has been voiced, and heard, [written] for all to see. Anyone who has been paying attention to Waydale/GSC postings for the last 12 years has witnessed many, many altered positions and stances. For many, martindale was the full-throated cause of twi's demise while wierwille stood safely perched on his exalted plateau. Not any more. GSC postings have "nailed" wierwille's sins, plagiarism, drunkenness, predation, exploitation, etc. in "95 thousand" posts for others to see. The wierwille mystique has unraveled. Even for those who'd left twi.....twi hadn't LEFT them! How many left twi with guilt, damaged and confused? The bewitching has been broken. Never underestimate the power of words. The only time twi has openly attempted to refute GSC postings was when H@rve Pl@tig, then-Vice Prez in Twi, came here to offset JP's claims of his mother's, Mrs. Wierwille, lack of elderly care. Other than that, twi leadership have mandated that no one visit this site. Ex-communication is their weapon. Twi's centralized authority and packaged plagiarism has railroaded lives toward calamity and destruction. And, the corps status/non-corps status instituted by wierwille promoted a class-warfare scenario that enabled envy and strife to fester. The list goes on and on. Never underestimate the power behind this modern-day NAILING.
  7. Or in martindale's era....."If you don't faithfully tithe, God won't even spit in your direction." Same deal, different pew.
  8. "On 31 October 1517, Luther wrote to his bishop, Albert of Mainz, protesting the sale of indulgences. He enclosed in his letter a copy of his "Disputation of Martin Luther on the Power and Efficacy of Indulgences," which came to be known as The Ninety-Five Theses. Hans Hillerbrand writes that Luther had no intention of confronting the church, but saw his disputation as a scholarly objection to church practices,".......and the Reformation was born. "It was not until January 1518 that friends of Luther translated the 95 Theses from Latin into German, printed, and widely copied, making the controversy one of the first in history to be aided by the printing press.[37] Within two weeks, copies of the theses had spread throughout Germany; within two months throughout Europe." Click Here - Martin Luther Today, here at Greasespot Café, we've been "nailing" 95 pages (plus 40 = 135) to twi's doors to confront their double-standard practices, manipulation and exploitation. And, who needs the printing press when you've got THE INTERNET. The doctrinal forum and the discussion forum expose the doctrines and practices within twi and its faulty foundation. As it was back then, so it is today.....the church doctrine hides and deceives its practices and attempts to crush any dissent in the making. The ex-communication of yester-years is the "mark-and-avoid" of today. Twi directors will NOT allow open discussion, open dialogue, to the masses. Control The People 101. Other websites via twi-followers have disappeared. Even the offshoots stopped some upstart discussion forums. Why is that? Simple. Those who heed the wierwille-doctrine are on a faulty foundation that will not stand under closer scrutiny of scripture. Therefore, silence insues to protect *their livelihood* [ie tithing from followers]. Just like indulgences in Luther's day......it always goes back to MONEY. Dissent from the church is a good thing indeed. The just shall live by faith.
  9. Yeah....I've seen that other thread where zbrick is confused about greasespot café. Apparently, he has no understanding of the many times Jesus warned disciples and followers of the evil nature of the Pharisees and scribes. Matthew 15 is direct confrontation and Matthew 23 is a point-by-point teaching/warning to NOT be drawn in to their evil works. Those, like zbrick, come to this site to distract and disrupt those of us who are shining light on this evil. They have their little beady-eyes on what they see as wrong, or want changed. They have their agenda.....and when things don't go their way, they move on. Obviously, some like their little world of wierwille-idol worship. Why can't they "move-on in life" and walk in sanctification and holiness, abounding more and more? Apparently, some are stuck in pfal one-liners and unable to discern the scriptural truths before them. And, that's why greasespotters are such a breath of fresh air in setting the cultists free. :)
  10. Doesn't that very fact expose the "donation" label?
  11. Bump -- requested by someone looking for this thread. * Revisiting the "patriarch paper" and vpw's secret.
  12. And.....that's why some of us chose to be "the tip of the spear" to challenge the forces of evil and help others on the field. Not in the sense of regurgitating pfal one-liners, but speaking the truth in love as the holy spirit moved within. Walking "the walk" was far bigger than just trying to get a class together. Only in the halls of administrative followership was it apparent that twi was messed up. My interim year at hq and subsequent years on staff and seeing the not-so-trustees on a daily basis convinced me that wierwille and co. weren't all that twi's pr messaging was bolstering them to be. By 1981, a 7th corps guy and I made a pact to try and change the direction of twi as we saw it. It all seems sorta surreal nowadays. All the bravado and chest-thumping of "how great twi was and all".....and a few years later and the wheels came off. Some of the greatest truths I learned in twi was "how people are bewitched from following the truth." The Book of Galatians came alive. The forsaking of Christ, the stirring of emotions, the biting and devouring......twi was walking with the devil and they didn't even know it. And, still don't. They have their reward......to be seen in the "marketplace of monotony" over and over again.
  13. Exactly. And.....as the vpw-adulation grew, so did wierwille's pride and narcissism. With each passing year, teachings were tweaked to reference 'literal translations.' Twi's classes, magazine and leadership indoctrinated a following of mog-worshippers. And, wierwille basked in the reflected glow of his 'christian' movement. Twenty-eight years after wierwille's death, and the drum beat goes on. And....offshoot leaders, too, make a living as a MEANS to THEIR END.
  14. I would imagine that twi is beginning another "new" year as their fiscal year closes out and the corps meetings resume for the paltry, and going-thru-the-motions, gatherings. To me, the faint memories of this cult world are almost gone. The names, the faces, the events, the buzz-words......is long past irrelevant. IMO, twi and its offshoots have fallen into the same pit where vanity and pride eek out an existence. Even the "faithful" on the field in my area say that they rarely go to twi's hq anymore. And, if the older crop of followers are fading away without new recruits......twi's irrelevancy will soon be on its death throes. Even cff, with its third-installed president now, has sliced payroll and pink-slipped a few ministers. Just seems like the pfal-installments of "the abundant life" are only abundant for the salaried. And, traffic here at GS has slowed as well. That's good! People have come here with questions, concerns and a need to resolve some of those twi-abuse issues.....and now, they've moved on too. For years, I've stated that my purpose for coming here was to help others. And, in the process, I've gained a truckload of wisdom and insight. You guys are truly amazing. Thanks. Yesterday, I spent some time reading some scripture on Sunday morning and began in Psalms 1. With the first verse, I found myself chuckling that I am blessed because "I walketh NOT in the counsel of the ungodly (twi)." As distance grows between twi and my family, life is getting better each and every year! Health, strength, prosperity, blessings, abundance......it all has been restored. Life is good again. My children have faint memories of roa and stuff, but they'll never be ensnared by that organization or its offshoots. The smell of oppression and bondage is something one rarely forgets. Anyhoos, all you out there in cyberville......enjoy the fresh air. I appreciate your wonderful insight.
  15. quote from article ---- "The vibe was more cultish than corporate." I tend to believe that more and more 'followers' are seeing thru the guise of twi and its offshoots. Right now, cff is on the slide as well.
  16. Unless......there's a hidden agenda. Indoctrinate.......nudge/manipulate......surveillance. Repeat as needed. Remember those 'release groups' at the advanced class. Was it a time for discussion? Nope. Was it a time for questions? Nope. It was a time for the corps/group leader to highlight regurgitate wierwille's teachings and monitor the 'progress' of the group indoctrination. Ever since we stepped foot into twi's 'undershepherding world'......leadership had been herding us away to a secluded valley of dependence (on them) and isolation. .
  17. skyrider

    WOW

Yeah....and vpw-speak of a prophet was two-fold: 1)fore-tell and 2)forth-tell of which, the predominant aspect was to forth-tell, to bring forth the Word. And.....as you said, the evangelist was to "fire-up" the disciples so that they would go out there and "win people." And.....was the gift ministry of a pastor to encourage and comfort the disciples so that, then they'd bring comfort to their twiggies? And.....the Teacher films his class so little minions can peddle his wares with instructions to just get others to "the class" and let it teach them. None of this jives with scripture in the book of acts.....where Paul, Barnabus, Silas, Peter, Stephen and others labored fervently to reach and teach and heal all who would believe. Wierwille's definitions and hierarchy was simply masking the caste system of old.
  18. Twi "leadership" abides by one rule........OBEDIENCE. In one breath, martindale would tout the "foundational principles in pfal" and yet, violate its essence day after day. But of course the wierwille-doctrine......i.e. the corps way was "don't ask how high to jump, just JUMP." Ever notice that nearly every wierwille-apologist and pfal-defender NEVER WENT CORPS. The higher doctrine for the spiritual elite (cough, cough) was OBEDIENCE. It didn't matter what pfal taught you. In fact, it didn't even matter what the bible says. OBEDIENCE TO THE MOG was, and is, the highest form of twi-servitude. THAT is the idolatry rooted and bearing putrid fruit in twi.
  19. It Got Worse. During the Martindale era (error) near-abouts 1996-1998......full-time field corps HAD TO SUBMIT WEEKLY SCHEDULES IN 15-MINUTE SLOT FRAMES. Do you know what its like to "plan" your life in advance in 15-minute time slots, projecting how your upcoming week is going to unfold..... and then, re-submit how it changed to throw you off kilter. Also......add in time for sex time with spouse. Yeah, really THEY WANTED TO KNOW that you and spousie were romping in the bedroom according to "biblical standards".....ie "not neglecting one another." So.....it certainly was one thing to detail your witnessing hours, twig nights, branch meetings, etc.....but to give twi's region/trunk/root leadership specifics about your sex life was plain wacko. And, this reporting was MANDATORY. If you failed to comply, then they felt entitled to threaten and/or fire you from employment. Yeah, can't you just feel the love? Religion and politics are blood-brothers of the same deranged gene pool.
  20. Given a choice between THAT and a colonoscopy........I'd choose a colonoscopy.
  21. Eagle......many here have told of eye-witness accounts of "GSC Reports" on Rosalie's desk. Interestingly, twi leadership STILL want to keep abreast of things that GSC-posters are saying about them. And, the WayGB does their little surveillance deed of daily skimming thru these topics. Maybe, the security guys don't have much to do at 2am except eat leftover pizza and do another trip down wierwille road to Hwy 29......so they scan websites for info and browny-points from rosie? With regards to "skake hands again in friendship or hold friendly discussions".....twi will NOT allow this. The only way they survive is to keep followers isolated and buzz-brained [ie half-truths, slogans, wayspeak]. Any honest, two-way, clear-cut debating of scripture could only lead to quickening twi's demise. Heck, questions weren't even really answered after pfal.....remember? Their only answer is a non-answer of "take another class." The deferral indoctrination has been a diversion tactic all along. If you think these people are your "friends".......then, you really aren't paying attention. Your goodwill, while commendable, is misplaced. Some of these people are pawns, but many others are knowingly enablers. And such are those who like their little desk jobs, their perks of public adulation and fawning followers, and the power of suppression. The middle/upper-tier leaders have been trained to scan the crowds for inconsistencies and will spot your presence immediately. The only way you'd be "welcome at the way" is to have your butt firmly planted in a seat and your mouth shut.
  22. IF.......twi is the "true household of God" (cough, cough)... And......God gave some apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to "the Church"..... Then.....two deductions follow: 1) twi would be the prime recipient of these gift ministries to the glory of God or 2) twi is a false ministry and God is NOT bestowing His gift ministries to their man-made traditions. It is our responsibility to discern the health of the tree by the quality of its fruit. That's how we "judge" and discern the scriptural truth around us.
