  1. In public admission.....blundering point after blundering point..... Chris Geer CONFIRMS the staggering-ineptness in the corps training. Chris Geer CONFIRMS the repudiation of wierwille's grandiose agenda. Chris Geer CONFIRMS the manipulation and exploitation of others on full display. And....to this day, so many are STILL fooled by his "audacious spirituality." .......blundering onward, INDEED.
  2. Geer's pop paper......there's a pattern of whining ....[PoP paper] "One of the other problems we faced in putting together the multilingual Advanced Class was the production of the syllabi and other materials for the classes, but I am getting ahead of myself at this point, I really need to go back to the period following our acquisition of Gartmore House." ...."One of the challenges that we were faced with during the European WOW Festival and immediately following it was cooking. To start with we needed to get a kitchen equipped and stocked. Both Barbara and I are experienced at cooking for large groups and at menu preparation, etc. It was largely Barbara who prepared the food for the WOW Festival, and then directly following the Festival I personally began handling the responsibilities of cooking three meals a day." Etc. etc. THIS is the whining diatribe that corps were subjected to during the 1986 Corps Week. Corps had traveled in from all parts of the U.S. -- paying all expenses and using valuable 'vacation' time from work -- to hear this pity-party blunderfest. Gee...to put together a multilingual advanced class, you first need the teachers?? Who knew? Or, in other words.......no sh!t Sherlock. Gee...to pull off the European WOW Festival and subsequent schedule, you have a lot of cooking to do and you needed to get a kitchen equipped and stocked? OMG....who woulda thunk it? THIS type of condescension, as if speaking to third-graders.....is the SAME STUFF that wierwille would ramble off during those corps nightowls by the fire. You know, how he worked SO HARD to find the keys to the bible, and the intense lighting when he filmed the 1967 pfal class, and working with inept people who wanted to be committed, and etc. etc. And, lest we forget......GEER was the man who studied and stood by wierwille's side incessantly and was, supposedly, "riding in to save The Way Ministry."
  3. This same BLUNDERING OF BAD DECISIONS applies to Camp Gunnison.....imo. Disadvantages of Sleepy Hollow....later, Camp Gunnison 1) Isolation from major arteries of commerce/people 2) Cabins were old and run down 3) Building and maintenance costs 4) Corps traveled thru icy conditions and treacherous overpass 5) Resupplying kitchen/food items was constant 6) No involvement with the town folk 7) Beautiful scenery, but not allowed to partake 8) Bless Patrol thru the freezing nights Advantages of Camp Gunnison 1) A good financial investment 2) Near elk hunting areas (for trustees) 3) More work areas (besides weed pulling in Emporia) 4) Free labor from inrez corps....immeasurably significant 5) Isolation for mogs to be with young corps girls Yeah, sure....I enjoyed the wide, open Rocky Mountain High scenery and all. But when I was there in 1980-81.....we weren't allowed to enjoy/explore much. Too many classes, too much busy work. Weighed in the balances, I've always viewed Camp Gunnison as BAD DECISION-MAKING. For the corps, the little guy.....it only added to the burden of one's training, i.e. more distance to travel, more gas expense, car maintenance, snow tires & chains, more risk in traveling, etc. And, now.....how'd that Camp Gunnysack decision work out? That corps training location CLOSED DOWN as well.
  4. This topic, from Wierwille the Patriarch thread..... ......[Geer's Passing of a Patriarch paper] "The final Way Corps location was not at all what we had anticipated. It is located in an area that is far removed from easily accessible transportation. It is also in a very difficult part of the British Isles to facilitate business needs, and perhaps worst of all, it is isolated from any large groups of believers. Our primary choice in England would have had good transportation, easy access to businesses that we had long dealt with and been close to a majority of the believers in Britain as well as being far more accessible to the majority of European believers." The blundering onward of bad decisions......1) Gartmore was far removed from easily accessible transportation, 2) it was very difficult to facilitate business needs, and 3) it was isolated from any large groups of believers. So, this was NOT AT ALL what geer and leadership had anticipated....er, believed for. What? Geer failed the most basic of pfal-premises??? Needs and wants must be parallel. The things that Geer NEEDED and WANTED were not parallel, or consistent, to sound principles of business and/or impacting culture with the Word. The Church Epistles DOCUMENT epicenters of outreach in cities like Rome, Corinth, Ephesus, etc. Why would you move to an isolated area.....somewhat removed from people and commerce? What objectives did you embrace [or violate] to arrive at this juncture? ....[POP paper quote] "We had lost the original location in England that we had selected because our own Way Corps graduates were not capable of handling things involved in getting a location. They just collapsed under the pressure. The increased difficulty in doing business in a remoter area of Scotland made me glad to have the extra time to prepare for Dr. and Mrs. Wierwille's visit." Why were corps grads put in charge of "getting a location?" Who sends in underlings to do MAJOR decisions and/or negotiating? And, notice....how quick Geer is to blame others. NEVER FORGET THAT. It is the modus operandi of vpw and co. Remember....corps were blamed for not stopping the rain at corps week. ....[POP paper] "There were massive things that needed attention immediately upon our moving in. There had been very little maintenance to the roofs and gutters and as a result there was considerable leakage in any event of rain." 1)Massive things that needed attention immediately. 2) Roofs, gutters, leakage needed maintenance. WOW......who missed all these details? Who blundered onward with more blunders piling up? ....[POP paper] "There was almost no hot water and the heating was very poor. We either froze or boiled, and if we boiled we did it at a great cost. There was so little hot water in fact that for quite a while we used the showers adjacent to the large gymnasium in the Knox Centre to shower, which meant walking across the centre of the campus in robes and towels in the wintertime. " OMG.....detail, after detail. Geer's paper is A PUBLIC ADMISSION for all to see that these people have no credibility to lead others!! NONE. And.....this is supposed to be a "training center for leadership?" ....[POP paper] "When we accepted the decision to locate the Corps in Scotland, we had to evaluate whether Chris and Nancy Kent could handle the United Kingdom from Scotland or whether they would have to stay in Altrincham to be central to the country. Finally we decided that with the percentage of our work that was in the southern part of the country it was too much to tack on the additional drive to get to Manchester, let alone from there to the south coast. It became evident that for the work of the Ministry it would be more expedient to leave them in Altrincham. That left us without the man whom we had felt could handle our Way Builders and without Nancy whom we had thought would have been able to handle our bookkeeping." The blunders keep piling up....all because of THE DECISION TO LOCATE AT GARTMORE. Now, they've got to figure out logistics of leadership, personnel, et al. Heck, it's what UPS or FedEx people DO on a daily basis. Geer and his bumbling buffoons have NO BUSINESS trying to lead others. And, this is the guy who set up all kinds of franchises for his classes?? :biglaugh:/>/> :biglaugh:/>/> :biglaugh:/>/> Okay, One More....just to emphasize Blundering Onward ....[POP paper] "When we moved into the facility, there was one telephone which worked only sporadically. We had selected a telephone system to replace the single wall phone that existed upon arrival, but due to the costs involved and other factors we had decided to run all the internal cables ourselves." One. Telephone. That. Worked. Only. Sporadically. OMG.....I can't stop laughing. :biglaugh:/>/> :biglaugh:/>/> :biglaugh:/>/> :biglaugh:/>/> :biglaugh:/>/> .
  5. Same could be said of the Canada Way Corps location in London, Ontario. That location went belly up when the city got a whiff of twi moving in and, if I recall, reasserted the zoning ordinances. The corps location had its fits-and-starts and several European corps had to pack and leave.
  6. Yeah.....guess I was into a Sunday football game more than detailing my point all the way thru. Ooops :) In other words, the choice that geer/vpw MADE had nothing to do with "the primary choice of location that they wanted." You know.....if a lowly corps made this type of blunder on a meeting location, there'd be a full-court press of castigating the stupidity and lack of believing.
  7. Oh, okay.....I guess it's a fair point then. But really......."the primary choice in England" didn't have ANYTHING that would constitute good, solid decision-making. How could these all nine all the time men strike out on ALL THREE of these pertinent strongholds? Geez Louise.....what a bunch of haphazard hucksters.
  8. Read this paragraph from Geer's writings..... "The final Way Corps location was not at all what we had anticipated. It is located in an area that is far removed from easily accessible transportation. It is also in a very difficult part of the British Isles to facilitate business needs, and perhaps worst of all, it is isolated from any large groups of believers. Our primary choice in England would have had good transportation, easy access to businesses that we had long dealt with and been close to a majority of the believers in Britain as well as being far more accessible to the majority of European believers." In other words, where was that super-duper believing by geer and vpw? .....far removed from accessible transportation [sTUPID DECISION] .....difficult to facilitate business needs [sTUPID DECISION] .....isolated from any large groups of believers [sTUPID DECISION] And, that folks.......is what Geer qualifies as a spiritual victory. And, these are the guys who stood and pontificated about BELIEVING GOD.
  9. In 1986, when I first heard of Chris Geer's The Passing of a Patriarch in reference to victor paul wierwille's life and death [passing].....my first reaction, and I STILL REMEMBER IT, was "patriarch?" The word "patriarch" in association with wierwille was foreign to me. I had NEVER hear it used....not in corps meetings, staff meetings, not even mentioned in passing. Yet, here was Geer.....this man who had set out on a laser-focused goal to be the next right-hand man of wierwille. He, along with wife Barbara, were 7th Corps and spent their first in-residence year fixated on getting over to Anderson Library to listen to, and catalog, EVERY TEACHING TAPE that wierwille taught thru the years. Obsession would most probably be the best term to describe their hidden agenda. Studying every tape, detailing every mannerism, likes and dislikes, observing wierwille's visits on campus....Chris and Barbara cataloged their notes into a "wierwille-project" binder. And.....their efforts were rewarded with an interim assignment as valets to Dr. and Mrs. Wierwille. In their elder-year as inrez corps....Chris taught on a few topics of leadership, several times. In smugness, he flaunted his position as right-hand-man-of-wierwille as proof to his spiritual discernment. He had the stamp of approval of "the man of God" himself. That alone gave him entre into all kinds of backdoor meetings and motor coaches. And, with each passing year, even Craig, Don, and Howard sensed he was *beyond reproof.* But......that "patriarch" thing, what was it anyways? No one ever used that terminology. And, no one has ever used it since. Was Cgeer so elevated in his spiritual perception, that he saw in wierwille something that NO ONE else had ever seen? Here, all of a sudden, this new word in relation to wierwille had entered the lexicon of titles given to the deceased wierwille. Was he, indeed, a patriarch? What's a patriarch in the biblical sense? What's a patriarch in terms of the Church Age? Where does it show up in scripture? Acts 2:29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. Heb 7:4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. Wowsers.....patriarchs David and Abraham. Clearly, Cgeer has catapulted wierwille into the pantheon of God's great and mighty men, David and Abraham. So, with brazen boldness Geer reads his lengthy paper to inresidence corps and further......is given access to read this diatribe to ALL THE CORPS at 1986 Corps Week. BOOM......the contents were explosive. Geer had PROJECTED wierwille to the masses in all idolized glory. No mention of wierwille's plagiarism, predation or private interpretations. Nope. Wierwille was a PATRIARCH......and geer was the man who held "the last will and testament" of the last of the patriarchs. And.....Geer went forth to franchise it.
  10. The twi-pea recipe was, seemingly, so good.....other leaders splintered to gain access to the split dividends of running their own classes. Click Here
  11. Well, ISIS has been threatening this beheading for several months.... Peter Kassig was in my son's high school graduating class in Indianapolis. Yeah, a large graduating class of 2006.....but they had history class together. Amazing how small the world is. ******** Here's a quick shot at the "six-degrees of separation" theory. In late September, like six weeks ago.....I had flown to Houston and was headed home, Sunday, Sept. 28th on United Airlines. Upon arrival at the airport, I went to the front counter because my computer-generated boarding pass did not have a gate number. With quick service and a smile, I was issued another boarding pass and passed thru security to my gate. When I arrived at my destination, I looked up at the overhead board to confirm my departure time.....only to find that United Flight #506 was cancelled. So, I pulled out my boarding pass and I'd been given another flight number....#2204. Hmmm,....I wonder why that is? Oh well, even though its departure time is 20 minutes later.... at least I'm headed home. When I get on the plane.....it looks new. As we begin to taxi from the terminal, the pilot informs us that WE ARE THE FIRST ONES TO FLY ON THIS NEW PLANE. WOW. Nice flight....real smooth and quiet. Two days later....I see on the news that this was the SAME DAY [sept. 28] that the ebola guy [Duncan] in Dallas, TX was taken back to the hospital and diagnosed with advanced-stage ebola. And.....he had flown United Airlines. Coincidence? Why was my flight cancelled at the last minute in Houston? Was my plane quarantined for safety reasons? Were stewardesses from another plane put on this flight #506? Or.....was this just some non-coincidental coincidence? Anyways....if true, thankfully, United Airlines was taking precautions. THEN.....a couple days later, I'm talking to my younger son and he tells me about his friend Peter Kassig on the list to be beheaded. WHAT A SMALL, SMALL WORLD. In one week, I encountered TWO of the biggest national, international, news stories in this cycle.....ebola and ISIS beheadings. Little 'ole me, in my little world. .
  12. I've got peas like a river.... I've got peas like a river.... I've got peas like a river.... .....in my soul.
  13. Well, then....you disobeyed. They stated clearly, "Take the class and learn the keys....er, eat your peas.
  14. Remember the hype? You've got to take pfal to learn the KEYS. ...This class will teach you the KEYS to biblical research. ...This class will teach you the KEYS that will unlock the doors. ...This class will teach you the KEYS to how the bible interprets itself. So, you take the class. And, when you finish the 12th session.....you've STILL got questions. So, they tell you to sit in the next pfal class in your area. No, no, no.....you don't need to buy a bunch of research books and do it yourself. No, no, no.....you're not spiritually mature enough to do biblical research. No, no, no.....you just need to keep getting to twig and faithfully abs. In other words....We know better than you, now EAT YOUR PEAS. Once you've come to the twi-table.....now THEY tell you what's best for you. Are they interested in your life? your background? your challenges? your goals? NOPE.....but they will tell you what to do. See......they claim to have "the word" and that claim trumps all else. So, sit down and stop whining. EAT YOUR PEAS, little johnny.
  15. Let's see...... 1) The Victor Paul Wierwille Prevailing Word Auditorium 2) Founders' Hall 3) VPW statue 4) Garden of Living Waters -- prominent burial spot 5) Entrance Marker -- as you head to fountain 6) BRC memorial 7) Founders' Room in Auditorium 8) LifeLines...quoting the man, vpw 9) Etc. etc. But really, beyond all that.....the suffocating presence of vpee when he ruled with heavy-handed authority. If truth be told, he built a mystique of fear and intimidation to keep others at a distance. In the words of Mrs. W, ".....he was a mean man."
  16. Go ahead Rosalie and the Old Guard......KEEP SPOTLIGHTING WIERWILLE. This strategy has worked so well for twi since the '70s, right? Not. Thousands of young, vibrant students walked thru twi's doors.....and exited. Why? Wierwille was sucking up all the air and spotlighted incessantly. Young bloods were rarily allowed to step up on the stage and participate. Narcissist wierwille and his gang of idolizing-crazies never connected the dots. What we were witnessing was NOT true Christianity....but rather, a cult. Nothing else mattered, but the fawning of unbridled adulation to its leader. So twi, you've reaped what you've sown. Enjoy. Today's twi-leadership is grandma and her knitting club. As a former teacher, she awaits the students to be sitting in their seats. It's authority that fuels her agenda.....the class material never changes. Yeah, that spotlighting wierwille has REALLY made an impact, huh? Just look at the thousands upon thousands that go forward in the steps of Jesus Chist. Oh wait. Umm....perhaps that should be rephrased. "Just look at the NUMBER of twi-followers who have sat in foundational classes." That's better. Seems to me like that definition of insanity should be applied about now..... you know, ....doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
  17. I wholeheartedly agree. But in terms of wierwille's statement in pfal where "non-Christians were exhibiting more of an abundant life that Christians".....he ventured into MATERIAL ABUNDANCE. In my post above, I cited abundance in the extreme......mansions, Bentleys, bling jewelry, Mediterranean vacations, etc.....BECAUSE it seems like there is this claim that bigwigs in twi live SO ABUNDANTLY. Heck, even Rosalie's house isn't all that special. Yeah, nice of-sorts....but really? I've been around the construction and service professions for decades and can tell you in my city there are tens of thousands of homes that make Rosalie's house look very, very average. Unless one is around this daily......you would hardly believe it. Homes with six-car garages, indoor lap pools, 7200-14,500 square ft, art collections, security monitoring, 24-ft vaulted ceilings, master closets with exercise equipment and washer/dryer area, sculptures and grand pianos, etc. etc. Yet, in twi.......cabinet members RENT houses, region coordinators RENT houses, is Donna still in a unit?....etc, etc. Twi is SO small-ball. Twi is an illusion of abundance. If it wasn't so detrimental to many, it would be outright laughable.
  18. To put it bluntly......no, they aren't. Of course, all these depends on how one views "abundant life." And, it depends on which twi-era we're talking about. In wierwille's day, with a motorcoach, motorcycles and access to Ambassador One.... yeah, vpee was living large for a rural [cult] preacher. I would agree that, yes, ole vic was surrounded by an abundance of adulation, adultery, accomodations, and a-holes....er, accomplices of his own making. But in today's twi.....Rosalie and Donna are mediocre micro-managers of a bland brand. There is really nothing that blings or pops with a message of A-B-U-N-D-A-N-C-E..... unless they are compared to average, lower middle class or the poverty stricken. Where are the McMansions? the Bentleys? the designer clothes? the book-signing? the world-travel jet-setters? the Mediterranean vacations? the Hollywood fan base? the political/social connections and dynamics? Pppffffttt. The internet is abuzz with thousands of examples of entertainers, entrepreneurs, athletes, social and political elites, media personalities, evangelical prototypes, etc. etc. etc. .....and even these don't even begin to breath the air of the billionaires worldwide. So, yeah......I know it ALL DEPENDS on how one looks at "abundance and power, etc" but from the wide swathes of society, Rosalie and Donna and the [cough, cough] bigwigs in twi, most hardly make the middle-class grade of homeownership, livelihood, college degrees, etc. And....from the standpoint of SPIRITUAL abundance? :biglaugh:
  19. The Way to run a cult..... ....the end result, always, is butts in seats. ....sitting in twig ....sitting in the next class ....sitting in meeting after meeting ....sitting in leaders' mtg about next meeting ....sitting in class to learn how to put more butts in seats. .
  20. The Way to run a cult..... The MOG is always right....even when he isn't. Always, give reverence to the biggest mog in the room. Hide his narcissistic agenda for as long as possible. Speak in generalities...and use phrases that have double meaning. The Way to run a railroad.....is to, always, keep it on track. The Way to illustrate a tree....is to focus on the trunk (and roots). What? PFAL was a mediocre class, patched together from others' work. Yet, it was hyped as the "word of god on a silver platter." Ugh. The Stepford Wives had more individual components than way-bots. Cloning droids with wayspeak, way-holydays, and uncle harryisms. Thousands walked out on pfal before the 12th session Thousands left twi even though they "manifested." Thousands of corps grads have exited their doors. Yet, mindlessly and methodically....the cult drones on. Every passing year......the evidence is clear. THAT IS The Way to run a cult. $57 Million.....and counting.
  21. Doglover.....they should. Why [WHY] don't they? Aha! That's the crux of the matter. ...1) It would go against everything they've ever learned in twi. ...2) Twi only sanctions get-in-line-giving to THEIR agenda. ...3) To do INDEPENDENT Bible study? Perish the thought! ...4) To stop send money to twi? Now, they're on the enemy list. ...5) These seniors will be shunned [and mocked] by twi-leaders. ...6) Etc. If seniors were to arrive at such an INDEPENDENT mindset to break free from railroad-religion, then they'd begin to grasp the concept of "the simplicity that is in Christ." [iI Cor. 11:3] .
  22. Yeah....exactly. To do what Doglover suggested is in direct contradiction to all twi doctrine. Everything has to be sanctioned by twi overlords of "the true household"......ie, tithe, witness, undershepherd others in classes, etc. does one have the wierwille-doctrine accurate. Otherwise......to do anything else is a compromise and leads one down the road to them devil spirits always lurking to thwart innies from "doing da verd." And....."doing da verd" is ONLY what twi-mogs say it is. When people break free from this Simon sorcery......true Christian values spring eternal again.
  23. That's why those "friends" were in quotes. Really, most all were simply co-workers for the org. Nearly 20 years has passed since I've seen many of them.... and yet, they still haven't found the exit doors.
  24. How do I ask them when twi has me on their mark/avoid list? Some of these people were "friends" .....or so I thought. .
  25. "....not enough diversity" was the reason to shut down this senior twig??? Ummm......what about those Wichita twigs filled with ONLY 17-23 year olds? Where was the DIVERSITY in those young, naïve, rebel-rousing twigs? Ain't it amazing to step back and SEE.....twi has ALWAYS HAD AN AGENDA. Get the youth involved. Check Separate them from family. Check Hype the product and moment. Check Isolate. Indoctrinate. Indenture. Check Marginalize dissent with shunning. Check When caught in cross-hairs, re-label. Check Never admit error. Never alter doctrine. Check
