This R/R splinter group is being led by wierwille's farm pond scum...........of course, they will NOT be restorers of true Christianity. How could they possibly restore others.........when, they themselves, were never brought into the sanctity of God's love, mercy and grace?
-
Thanks Rocky......... Looks like I need to order another book.

Manufactured Spirituality....... (all to the end of paying homage to twi) Manufactured Manifestations....... (to be operated at the twig level to instill faithful obedience)
-
Absolutely chockfull......... Everything is totally changed for the better. Our family is stretching forth to new horizons. Except for my posting here at GSC........there is no indication that we were ever in a cult that dictated people's lives and lifestyles. Our two sons never talk about the cult. Fresh air and life are on today's list of what's important. No greasespots, no devil spirits ensuing our destruction.........as predicted by twi. The cult leaders were more into glorifying the devil.......than expounding on the beauty of our life-giving God.

I know, I know...... The more you examine the wierwille-doctrine........you start to see that the guy was a false teacher and false prophet. That's why it stands to reason to see this newest splinter group, the R/R folk and corps coordinators.......promoting wierwille-adulation. .........

Freedom and Accessibility...............to tell the other side of the story. The oppressive, heavy-handed "rulers" who threaten with fear, guilt, and ostracize. The dark, seedy side of headquarters where leaders manipulate and control everything. Hoarding away $68 Million in assets........while staffers & corps have no equity or very little retirement benefits. Unearthing and exposing all of the lies and hypocrisy of twi's history and lore. Documenting wierwille's utter failures........in first 10 years of his independent undertaking (1957-1967). How the young firebrands, ministers and guitar players brought Christian zeal to twi...........not wierwille. The two wierwilles: the stage-presence of wierwille and the sexual predator wierwille. And..............every opportunistic splinter group that tries to feed off the wierwille brand. Freedom.......to write and voice the evil, hypocritical agenda of this cult.
-
Freedom from the way international cult..........never grows old. Freedom of thought.......to explore the world in which I live. Freedom of speech........to disagree, or agree and explain why. Freedom of religion........or have no religion at all. Freedom of the press......er, GSC. TWI and the Splinters hate this site. Freedom from public character assassination......without representation. Freedom of privacy.........and fellowship and associations of my choosing. Freedom from mandatory meetings, meals and yell-fests. Freedom to be me. This list could be endless. The more I think about all the harassment and spiritual abuse that I put up with in twi.............I cannot believe that I stayed that long. The cult puppeteers were daily pulling the strings of what was spiritually important each day. What a load of BS. And, to this day......there are dozens of splinter groups that still idolize wierwille as the grand wizard........er, great one. Deceived and deceiving others. What a delusional way to live. Freedom. Fresh air. Life.

Yes.........the BIG thunderstorm on the night of the 1985 corps week ordinations. Don Wierwille was on stage teaching..........as the rain torrentially poured down, and the tent sagged in one area under the weight of the water pooling. And, more and more of us were fixated on this growing problem, while deadbrain leader on stage kept teaching. Finally, someone came around and told a bunch of corps in that section to move away...... because the guy climbing on top of the tent was going to slice a hole and alleviate the sagging danger area. I don't know.....but it seemed like 40-50 gallons of water came pouring down when he sliced it from above. Nothing like cult leaders who refuse to stop things.......to put people quickly and decisively out of danger.

It has been so long since I've seen this guy that I wasn't sure if it was the same Robert Justice McCulloch....... ...........but I pulled out my 1985 Way International Clergy List......and there IS a Robert J. McCulloch ...........same spelling ...........ordained on Aug. 7, 1985 [Corps Week -- under the Big Top]

And...........I find it intriguing to watch fossilized, stigmatized non-transformation. Hence, this thread on indoctrination. Add, years of corps training......where wierwille came to the Emporia Campus and in his corps teachings directed his ire to "cop-outs" who left twi for greener pastures. Then, add.......Bob Moneyhands and OTHER corps coordinators in this R/R group who are STILL fixated on their praise for wierwille. Transformation is life. Fossilized, stagnant non-transformation is drudgery, misery and death. This new splinter group is NOT moving towards transformation in life......they hearken back to the stagnant, repulsive enslavement of the wierwille-doctrine. They desire to keep you tethered to the same, denounced doctrines of wierwille: 1) law of believing, 2) absent Christ, 3) dispensationalism, .........ie all things wierwille taught. WARNING: Every splinter group starts out friendly and teaches on love and giving.
-
Taxidev......if this is something that you find worthwhile, then I'm happy for you. Knowing the history of these corps coordinators and all those corps teachings on spiritual vigilance, walking in power, the 16 keys to walking by the spirit, defeating the adversary, etc.............hearing that they're teaching on "love as our motivation" is laugh-out-loud laughable. Baby steps, I guess........ For me, I just find dial-a-teaching or online teachings so impersonal and opportunistic. At least with local churches and fellowships.......there is a personal connection and involvement, rather than some distant "teacher" pontificating on spirituality. I never liked the corps phone hook-ups and I deeply resented those Branch Meetings dialed into twit-headquarters.......all the ridiculous gyrations we went thru to mimic like we were actually there. Ugh. Just wait till they bring out those little child songs with hand movements...............

R&R Group: Too Late, cult-sycophants already taken
skyrider replied to skyrider's topic in About The Way
Just because they have not asked for money............does not mean that they are not deceiving or being deceived. . -
What a load of bull excrement in their praises to wierwille....... So, obviously.........these guys are going to INDOCTRINATE, not teach. ..........adding a few of my own comments in red
-
Thanks, DWBH.................
-
And..........if you want to trace its origin further .......here is another link: why the moneyhands were mark and avoided This letter was undersigned by about 60 signatures ("plus dozens more")........so, it's going to be very interesting to see how many of these ex-corps stay on the train of this Revival and Restoration RailRoad. You know, year after year.......going to meetings, getting others involved, soon-to-have-own-classes (??), donating time and effort and money.... Rather than a railroad..........in another year or so, it might be like trying to herd a bunch of cats.

Will the new R&R group be one that teaches or indoctrinates?
-
Cult Awareness groups, books, articles, and seminars.......also, teach the *necessary information* to over power cult indoctrination.
-
The one who desires to have power over you will not teach you the necessary information to overthrow that power. ...............nor will the splinter groups. ~~~~~~~~ Seems that only GSC is the one place to get that *necessary information* to overpower cult doctrine.
-
Just to be clear............in the cult, and especially the corps indoctrination program, the leaders jumped back and forth from the new testament to the old testament..... picking and highlighting whatever verses fit the agenda. So......a prophet speaks FOR THE LORD. And......if the thing follow NOT, he is not to be respected (revered). Quite the opposite. ~~~~~~ Deu 18:18 - I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. Deu 18:19 - And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. Deu 18:20 - But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. Deu 18:21 - And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? Deu 18:22 - When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. ~~~~~~~~ Oh, the irony..........that wierwille died in 4 years, dropping dead on his own in the time frame of his false prophecy. .
-
Yeah, Twinky..............at least I got to spend some special weekends and quality time with my Dad his last 10 years and 17 years with Mom. And, I got to see first-hand and up-close how a false prophet does his sleight-of-hand magic. Pppffftt.
-
On this Father's Day.............I miss you Dad. And, I miss the relationship that we could have had.......aside from the cult.

When I was with wierwille on his motor coach in May 1981, he stopped reading my deprogramming account, paused and directly fixated his gaze upon me, and said............. "Your parents will be dead in 5 years for having done this to you." Imagine how that jolted me. For nearly 17 years, I had been indoctrinated into believing that Dr. Victor Paul Wierwille walked with God and was "the man of God" for this day and time. He received revelation from God.......and, he was the man who could "reach up into Daddy's cookie jar" anytime, anywhere. Throughout the corps indoctrination program, our corps coordinators emphasized and demanded strict adherence and obedience to leadership. Wierwille was the "ultimate leader" of the cult........and, in May 1981, I was in his private motor coach and he was uttering a prophecy of the death of my parents. So.........I counted down the years. Throughout these years, I had NO contact with my parents......except to send them an announcement of my marriage to my bride. I did not invite them to our wedding. I knew that was not within the realm of possibility for them to accept.......and come sit in the BRC at our wedding. So, obviously..........our relationship became estranged, and cold, and distant. Yet, each year......I reflected on wierwille's "prophecy" and thought, ".....Is this going to be the year of their deaths? How will they die? Will it be significant or "biblical in nature".......so that I can see the judgment of the Lord on their actions? And, I at times, pondered..........."What if this was a false prophecy and wierwille was just speaking presumptuously?" God forbid that I harbor a dissenting view of wierwille's prophecy and doubt that it would come to pass. THAT would make wierwille a false prophet. The years passed quickly..........and four years later, in May 1985........wierwille was DEAD. Still, I waited..........waiting for year number 5. May 1986 came and went...........and my parents were STILL alive. Five years had passed and the prophecy did not come to pass. Now what? Should I give "this prophecy" a little wiggle room and wait till the end of the year? Maybe, just maybe.......wierwille was "off by only a little." No. Wierwille said, "Your parents will be dead in 5 years for having done this to you." These words were burned into my conscience, because wierwille had spoken them directly to me. After years of studying scripture and going thru corps training, prophecy was something that was absolute and the markings of the holy spirit in action. Many believed that wierwille had the gift ministries (plural)......teacher, prophet AND apostle. Yet, are we not to take the Deuteronomy record into account that IF the prophet's words do not come to pass, then he has spoken presumptuously.......and be NOT afraid of him. Now what? This was May of 1986. And, three months later, Geer takes the stage at Corps Week and reads "The Passing of a Patriarch." Patriarch? Was wierwille our "Father in the Word?" Was wierwille our father in this cult? And, Geer said that we'd forsaken wierwille and needed to get back to the Word that he had taught us. Questions and more swirling questions. Who you gonna believe? Men who speak great swelling words of vanity or your own eyes (and ears)? As of that May 1981 "prophecy".............my Dad lived another 27 years. As of that May 1981 "prophecy".............my Mom lived another 34 years. .

Rocky.........first and foremost, wierwille was the one responsible for his own conduct and manner of life. He should have desired to be upright and meek before the Lord and labored to serve the downtrodden, the burdened, the broken, and the outcasts to turn their ways to the Lord. The antithesis of the Wierwille-Mystique: Had Wierwille lived his life truthfully and honestly. Clean Slate.........where wierwille didn't need to project himself to be something that he was not [i.e. the wierwille-mystique]. Open and honest history of The Way Ministry starting its independent undertaking December 19, 1957. Keynoting that Rev. B.G. Leonard's foundational class was the cornerstone of wierwille's class-based standard and operation. No Plagiarism from other men's work or ministries. Give J.E. Stiles and E.W. Bullinger credit for research/literary achievements. Never to have fabricated that bullschitt revelation-story about snow-on-the-gas-pumps. That Youth Caravan Chimes Hour Radio Broadcast as the "start of twi".............LOL And, most importantly........if he believed that the 9 manifestations were all-important.........then DO THEM. Walk in power.......and wierwille wouldn't have needed to build this mystique, this myth. If signs, miracles and wonders are happening..............the Lord is present. Now, for us.............."critical thinking" is the antithesis of wierwille's contrived mystique. All of these gaping holes where the "dots clearly don't connect." Personally, I never saw wierwille do ONE of the "big six manifestations".........not one time! And, his temperament, and patience and conduct was NOT suited for a minister and/or pastor. The Scriptures highlighted a list in I Timothy 3......of which, wierwille did not qualify. So, I held out hope that twi would move beyond wierwille and others would rise up and carry the torch. Given that wierwille died of cancer and stated adamantly in his advanced classes that "cancer was a devil spirit".......Huge Red Flags. Having been in marketing classes, I was drawn to twi by its "Biblical Research" aspect. For a time, I really thought that twi and its research team would continue to uncover more and more truths that would empower us in Christian living. My two years as a WOW Ambassador had their God-moments, but were hit-and-miss a large part of the time. My 6th corps wow brother talked me into signing up for the corps program.......telling me that I'd receive the training like no other. Yet, after two months of in-residence corps program, I was deeply disappointed and felt like I was being herded around. I didn't label it "indoctrination" back then.......but it sure wasn't like my college education and open discourse. Wierwille was a narcissist..........and religion was his playground. Grandiosity with expectations of superior treatment from other people Fixated on fantasies of power, success, intelligence, attractiveness, etc. Self-perception of being unique, superior, and associated with high-status people and institutions Needing continual admiration from others Sense of entitlement to special treatment and to obedience from others Exploitative of others to achieve personal gain Unwilling to empathize with the feelings, wishes, and needs of other people Intensely envious of others, and the belief that others are equally envious of them Pompous and arrogant demeanor
-
Same goes for the condescending pfal class...... "Most people just think they think." "That guy on the other side of the English Channel.....I wouldn't waste my time on him." "Why, I've forgotten more of the Word that that guy will ever know." "People criticize the man of God......first, they don't like the tie you're wearing." Duly Noted: Wierwille was The Teacher. We were his students......and it would ALWAYS stay that way.

Ditto. Great post, Rocky...........thanks. Will respond later........
