So far...........the new twi class is reported as a combination of pfal/wap. Like.......what else COULD they say??? :blink: Very diplomatic of them, doncha think?.........not to say, "Well, the wap class was full of over-the-top b.s. and, besides, the corps had trouble pitching for it." Or, "We think that martindale's interpretation of the lesbo/serpent situation was one among many detours and distractions in the wap class." Combination of pfal/wap...........TRANSLATION: Both of our past presidents, our leading mogs, taught us the scriptural truth that the churches do not teach. We are moving forward with another great class.

Looking back at those inresidence years, the way corps stuff was mostly rah-rah hype. "Training?"........... actually the more apt description would be programming. The first three months of my corps programming were.....pfal re-runs. We sat thru wierwille's class...... again! Then, those other classes.....renewed mind, waytree, wit & undershep, etc.... I couldn't believe that THIS was almighty "corps training." Same stuff, different classroom. "In your face"......could have been the motto for the way corps. But hey......I was young and naive and used to team sports where coaches do that sort of thing. Class after class after class.......speakers and "teachers" would drive home the points of a dale carnegie book, or jc is not g book, etc. Sometimes, I would balk and say......don't these guys know we can READ??????? And, they assumed we were idiots or something. Like the gun training thing, it took about five hours of waiting around before I held a shotgun and fired two shots............TWO SHOTS. I never had the heart to tell those "shooting range guys" that I had been pheasant hunting and rabbit hunting since I was old enough to carry a gun!! Twenty-guage shotgun, twelve-guage shotgun, .22 caliber rifle, bow & arrow, ........... been around, done that. And, those "literal translations according to usage" teachings by wierwille corps nights...........word by word expounding. What an incredible waste of time........ never knew one corps person who referred back to their notes after the year was up......NOT ONE. Years rolled by........and I threw all those notes in the trash. Just never used 'em....... Even sundays were jammed with meetings....branch household responsibility meeting (like plurality palace), then get over at 9:30am to usher for the 10:30am meeting, lunch, maybe another meeting after lunch, then the evening service, an afterglow meeting, etc. Can you say.....meeting overload?????? Looking back.....I find myself asking the same question over and over......"why did I stay so long?????" And, I guess the most concrete answer......I was caught up in the hype, the sales pitch, the mantra of word over the world. The corps "training" was little more than PROGRAMMING MEETING MENTALITY. As long as your butt was in your assigned seat, then all was well. Twi leadership prided themselves on numbers, filled seats. No real genuine concern or compassion for questions, feelings, character-building, strong suits, individuality, prayerful consideration, etc..........just a wierwille-overload of "I've got the answers." You didn't show him craiggers' homo-purging letter did you??........the one where craiggers gives sexually explicit terms and how craiggers, if in OT times, "would gladly execute them." Wowsers!!!!!!

top.......I'm not sure about any veepee letters, BUT with my own eyes I witnessed veepee's venomous lashings on three different occasions. And, these weren't the little "you screwed up" types............these were rantings, frothing, hardened-eyes, gnashing teeth, character assassinations. 1) A 6th corps guy had fallen asleep on corps night. Veepee started yelling, stomping and swearing at this guy (who had a physical health problem.....some blood sugar/chemical imbalance thing). After about 5 minutes......veepee left the stage in the OSC dining room and went to the back room for about 10 minutes. Craig came out and yelled some more. Finally, vp came back fuming.....and then taught. The next day, the corps guy was sent packing off staff. 2) In the BRC, vp was upfront with about six people who had recently attended that tracker guy's seminar. An 8th corps guy....LEAD type fellow....was outspoken on how incredible this guy and his teaching methods were at the seminar. In a couple of minutes of talking about the great stuff, vp couldn't take it any longer. Vp yelled, and pointed at this 8th corps guy....said he was possessed with spirits, etc. All of us seated in the BRC were stunned by vp's over-the-top reproof. 3) A nightowl in the way woods, and vp is sharing by the campfire. Crickets chirping in the background, a few fireflys, and a real solemn time with corps sitting at his feet. Anyways..........vp's bodyguard, Jim Crxx forgot to turn his two-way radio down...and the the screeching words broke the silence of the moment. It was classic wierwille.....the venomous anger side that some have never seen. Again, the high volume tear-him-a-new-@$$hole type of situation. Next morning, Jim was gone. Yep..............vp and me (craiggers), learned his lessons well. Why oh why did I stay after this........???????????????????????

Flashback!!!!............ "rooting you out" :blink: Eeeeeeerie.............. can still hear craiggers voice. Here, ya got a guy going ballistic on "honesty"..........and he spends his nights chasing skirts and seducing other CORPS men's wives.

I can see the reasons why a former twi leader or corps person might want to tweak their resume......and distance themselves from their twi past. BUT.........to currently stand in a twi leadership position and gung-ho corps, and add a generic term of "corporate leadership training" to one's resume..........is very hypocritical. Not surprised, though.

Add to that......... THE class..................you gotta take THE class THE way corps..........no other program quite like it THE corps chalet.......and now donna's hide-away home THE way woods.........all wood is way wood (huh?) THE victor paul wierwille prevailing word auditorium THE way of abundance and power class........."wap" class (shelved) THE prevailing word........a notch higher than what others know THE renewed mind.........a done deal, sealed with twi doctrine THE true household........a dysfunctional outfit, but "true" to one another Okay............that's enough. Uuuuuuuugh

Thanks Belle........I always read your posts. :) What a "night & day" difference than how veepee structured things. The damage done continues from generation to generation......until someone with some business smarts and ethical protocols takes the helm. I'm not holding my breath, though.

Hey, WayGB.......anybody taking notes???? You guys REALLY ought to sit rosie down and talk with her. Twi's image is not improving.......and now, the board of misdirectors don't have LCM as an excuse anymore. C'mon.......this stuff REALLY looks pathetic. At least.......talk with the Adv Class dept guys and have them remove "snacks" from the list of preparation. It just fans the flames of those micro-management accusations....!!! Or, was it Way Publications that missed proofreading the mailing? Or, did it cross rosie's desk and she missed it too...??

Today's twi is promoted as a "kinder, gentler" version. In the past few months, here are some of the things we've learned from twi promotions, mailings and first-hand accounts: * Advanced Class candidates are monitored for 17 months. * Snacks made the list.......twi is concerned about AC candidates snacks! * Money, money, money....is the vital tool of preparation for AC candidates. * Attending sunday services at hq requires a security search. * Sunday teachings must be pre-approved and read from script. * All mark & avoid people ON THE LIST will be asked to leave. * Teen twits in Florida...on myspace.com...say there is no m/a policy. * Solicitation for worker bees for hq & gunnisack is ongoing. * Syrupy wording on solicitation request is extremely rosey. * The new foundational class in March is a pfal/wap combination. And..............this is the NEW and IMPROVED twi ministry. Interested? :)

Yep.....as others pointed out, the Mxullens have been region coordinators for many years. When the L@llys split out in the middle of the night in June of 2000.......the Mxullins moved from Arkansas to take over the Texas region. Damage control.......and the way moves on.

Yeah, sock.......thanks! As the decades roll by, LIFE CHANGES. But twi attempts to keep life as a fixation of wierwille lore. Pleasantville......New Knoxville. Everything is supposed to have its constant state of being as it was, a pfal-promotion display. No passionate concern for people's lives......where dynamics are changing. A 19 year old apprentice corps is supposed to stay LIKE THAT throughout life. But such is not reality. Add a few years.......marriage? family? career options? further education? career promotions? company-assigned relocation? OR........one could climb twi's ladder and go the staff route!! Stay on staff, live the pfal-promotion lifestyle, usher at the sunday service, isolate oneself from his earthly family and society completely. Pat himself on the back for how righteous and committed he is. Imo, wierwille and his top leadership FAILED MISERABLY. They refused to accept the dynamics of people's lives, their goals, their God-at-work-within-them uniqueness, their growing children, etc. Had wierwille and martindale walked with the passion of TRUE MINISTERS, they would have seen the heavy burdens that they were placing on the corps, the committed advanced class grads. With proper balance and implemented boundary lines........living as ambassadors for Christ AND in harmony with twi could have been a grand undertaking.

I always looked at the ministry of reconciliation as a God-given right to all members in the Body of Christ..... not equating it with a designated man's ministry, ie. twi. To me.....I simply looked at the way ministry as a highway on God's landscape, His earth. This highway, twi, facilitated our journey and all who desired to travel onward. But now, this highway......is a "low-way" filled with potholes, fallen trees, burned and trashed vehicles, and unmarked detours. I have found a better highway......more like a SKYway. skyrider :)

Well.......it keeps things simple for twi. You are either possessed......or your not.

Hi Belle.......so good to see you again. :) Yeah.......sign them up for these classes......and let the class "minister" to them. The systematizing of error in twi was on multiple fronts. By the early 80s, it was like forbidden to take lots of individual time to listen, to care, to minister to others. Just another twi-perversion......working its way through the waytree, from the root to the leaves.

CK, Thanks for starting this thread and sharing your experience. Have you heard of the WayGB........those twi staffers who come to Greasespot and check us out? These guys take notes and names......trying to thwart one's liberty and expose them. BEWARE.........the WayGB might be phoning your parents real soon. They do NOT want you going to hq and then, later, posting on GS. Take caution..............and take care. :)

IF.........."a lifetime of christian service"......has ANYTHING to do with being Christ-like... THEN.....how could one possibly continue "serving a lifetime in twi".....when strong-arming became rampant, abuses became known, adultery was acceptable to mog lifestyles, boundaries were crossed, divorce was advocated if the mog wanted your wife for sexual pleasure, other trustees turned and looked away, twisted doctrines were surfacing, etc. etc. etc..........??? Would God take pleasure in a 30-year old signed corps application as a sealed vow before Him.......when a so-called ministry is led astray...... rather than embracing scriptural truths of Holy Writings and walking away from twi's evil methods of control and abuse...??? Do the words of a corps brochure SUPERCEDE the writing of the ages, His Mighty Word..??? Absurd....isn't it???? :)

Lindy, Quite the thread you started. :) You asked us "old corps grads"......what we were thinking when we went corps. But for some reason, some want to TELL US WHAT WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN THINKING. Unbelievable.............

If you didn't experience it............you don't REALLY know. You've gotta go..........to know. :)

Of course............you are NOT ALLOWED to leave the campus. You are NOT ALLOWED to fish the river. No smoking is allowed and we prefer that you are young and naive with a strong back. And, you can't go hiking by yourself.....it has to be a group thing....with every staff person in agreement, and only between the months of December - March. All other times, you'll be too busy painting. More specifics are availiable.....if you are interested.

There is alot of merit to a Christian structure that has pre-requisite training........then, hands-on application for a few years.......then, some counseling...... meditation..... reasoning..... more training..... seasoned consideration. Also, in twi........add the buzz slogans, the vague terminology, the sexual predatory environment, the favortisms to one and not the other, the guilt entrapments, etc.........and there is NO level playing field. Heck.........twi should have had a "JAG-counsel" to help with grievances and curb criminal behavior from the "upper generals."

This updated information is CONFIRMATION. Paranoia. Read from script. Ho-hum. So glad I left. :)
