  1. Delusions of Grandeur...?? 1) Victor Paul Wierwille as "THE man of God" 2) The Wierwille family MUST stand together on the "word of God" or.....splat!
  2. TWI is the fertile ground that is spiritually feeding the whole world.
  3. It's the ole subliminal messaging within the "interpretation" that few see. The inflection point is on the word 'MONEY'
  4. I seem to remember it as......"Yo Sho MeDa Monee Wy Doncha"
  5. Isn't 'wee wee' and 'piddles' sorta redundant? I think we're saying the same thing. :)
  6. Yeah......my "investment" and experiences in twi cover a span of 24 years! Been there, done that........covered the gamut of responsibilities on staff and field assignments. So, yeah....I've validated my experiences in a very personal way. Here, let me state it this way.....back in the day, after going wow two years and seeing some prayers answered, some healings, signs and wonders......I fully expected being corps/staff and around the trustees would be a "mountaintop experience." My suspicions to the contrary were summoned during my inresidence years.....some red flags and indoctrination. After my corps graduation and years on staff.....hqtrs only confirmed it. Seeing the trustees up close and personal was a HUGE disappointment to what I had projected them to be. Around 1980, I really thought that twi 'might' break free from the man-made religion that brought oppression. When 'Word in Culture' was hitting its stride.....and artists, writers, sculptors, inventors, musicians, craftsmen, builders, etc. were able to break out individually....I thought to myself FINALLY, IT CAN HAPPEN. Simply put, I believed that any ministry built on a man would crumble....whereas, unleashed 'christ-in' individuals would flourish with God-given power. All those scriptures that point towards idolatry and man-made traditions and serving man......I saw at hq. Around 1981-82, twi clamped down and stopped the individualism. Corps grads started dispersing......and seeking higher education. Those who stayed....only saw more indoctrination. In 1985, wierwille died......and soon the exodus ensued. Long, long story short......after exiting twi, and later finding Waydale & GS.....I saw that I wasn't alone. Others had seen the same things. Delving into wierwille's past....his "snowstorm accounts" and staying on church payroll until 1957 and checking his India itinerary boastings and Dr. I.S. Williams who translated at the Jain Convention and the plagairism allegations and the blue book discrepancies and dying of cancer and etc,etc..........I think that I've validated, for myself, what parts to keep and what to toss. Maybe that "in-depth spiritual perception and awareness" worked after all? .
  7. And......none of the "founders" were doing in the 60's and 70's what they SAID they were doing. Not once....did I ever see vpw, harry or ermal walk by the spirit of God....you know, those other six top-tier manifestations. None. Nada. Zip. When our corps group spent "trustee time" with Ermal and Dorothy....she shared stories with us about how the ministry was so broke in the early years that when guests were invited over, she would serve coffee and toast cut in triangles and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. And....Harry stretched his nickels as far as possible. To me.....I've heard these SAME STORIES from my grandparents and uncles. Any mystique that I once had about the "trustees".........is long gone.
  8. With each passing year.....I more fully realize that twi was a little puddle. Puddles are fun to splash in, when you are a kid. As an adult.....not so much.
  9. Yeah, every splinter has a psalm, a doctrine, a revelation, an interpretation..... ....a class, a website, a facebook account, a twitter following. :)
  10. With these movies, Joyful Noise and Rock of Ages..... With Abundant Life Churches popping up here and there..... The twi ideology is being washed away in the river of ambiguity.
  11. Once again......as always, the youth are highly prized. Re-name it, re-package it, dress it up, dress it down, put a uniform on him, put a sign in her hands, pitch a tent, occupy space, military enlistment, religious recruitment, schemes and dreams, scams and scums, rightly or wrongly, ......the youth are always targeted.
  12. Joyful Noise (2012) Rock of Ages (2012) What's going on? Don't they know that twi "owns the copyrights."
  13. On a church marquee near my home.......two local churches are merging to more effectually serve their congregations, the local community and decrease their operating costs. Hopefully, the merger works out for them. Yet....splinter groups are re-splintering. But more to my point.....could it be the convergence of several factors that started this anomaly? 1) MLM was introduced in 1945......and direct sellers could generate residual-like income 2) Class-based "ministries" were accepted, withlimited success, as new modes of the Christian model 3) Technology was utilized to film/videotape a class....which helped underlings to present material 4) By the late 1960s....the youth movements across America were searching for a counter-culture 5) Bible fellowships and home fellowships provided the new wave of excitement 6) A splinter "ministry" provided a home-based source of income....and tax-free perks 7) Social networking and internet access has only facillitated the ease of class-based "ministries" 8) And........? Some wierwille-defenders like to credit pfal to this great surge. To me, that just seems so petty and conclusively idolatrous. With each passing year, I seem to identify more fully how this convergencing wave carried me to the far shoreline. After 11 years in a church pastorate, even wierwille realized the independence surge of a class-based organization after attending B.G. Leonard's foundational class. Perhaps, young wierwille recognized an emerging market to be the CEO of his own destiny? Or, narcisstically.....he saw an opportunity to be king on his own hill. Whatever.......wierwille splintered away from Leonard and never looked back. I tend to believe that splinter groups will continue to emerge....as long as one can build "a following of faithful supporters." One simply needs to garner support that a "class-based ministry and faithful tithing" is the will of God in this day and time. Splinter groups gone wild?.......absolutely. With a little charisma, a smile, a dvd-class format, a room......and some horns of plenty .....and you are set! :)
  14. The new year is about to break the horizon......and again, I'm SO THANKFUL that its not another year of trudging along in the cult mentality of wierwilleworld. No more "dependency living" on spoon-fed doctrine and costume-cliches. No more "home shelter" or commune-conformity to cramp individualism. No more hitch-hiking. No more bare-bones living. Twi thrives on conditioning their followers toward a dependency lifestyle......spiritually, mentally, emotionally, financially. What horizons await them in this upcoming year? More of the same old, same old teachings? More meetings and following their leaders? Stuck on rewind and never moving forward? It's sad, really, to see people ensnared in this trap. Last night, our family enjoyed a delightful evening with another ex-twier family.....and, when together, its revealing to reflect on years gone by. Of course, the memories of those twi-daze bring lots of laughs and head-shaking that we actually were that gullible. All of our grown children are "caught in the middle" knowing that without twi, we wouldn't have connected and married our spouses. And, to them......the rock of ages is about the only memory that remains of corporate twi. I understand how challenging it is to rebuild after twi. Years and years of rebuilding......after staying in twi's holding pattern and burning fuel. The waste of time and money and opportunity! All who come here to GreaseSpot......Happy New Year......in every sense of that phrase. Happy choices. New opportunities. Another year of fruitful adventures. May your wine glass always be full.

    Airport Security

Well, well........here it comes. TSA teams are increasingly conducting searches and screenings at train stations, subways, ferry terminals and other mass transit locations.....and America is being transformed right before our very eyes. Click Here

  17. Update: Kim Jong-Un is now hailed as the "Supreme Commander" of North Korea's military.
  18. Twi needs to up its game if they want to be in North Korea's league. Back in 1998, when North Korea's "Great Leader" Kim Il Sung died, their Constitution was revised to rename him as "Eternal President." Then, President Kim's son Kim Jong Il became the country's longtime "Dear Leader." Last week, with Kim Jong Il's death, his son, Kim Jong-Un is now the "Great Successor."
  19. As a strict-selective-scripture-searcher -- wierwille would NEVER select "A Christmas Carol" as his choice of character.... Wierwille gravitated towards "A White Christmas" where he envisioned himself as the retired general and "his men" would rally to sing his praises.....and follow him anywhere!!
  20. Could it be......twi was ALWAYS trying to manipulate us from friends, family, celebrations, events, etc. and corral us into their little world of seclusion and systematic seduction? Did twi REALLY know the true meaning and heart behind Thanksgiving? Did twi REALLY know the true meaning and depth behind Christmas? Did twi REALLY know the deep meaning of "praying in the new year?" Or......were twi activities designed to obstruct and re-direct our thinking and lives in every way imaginable? Just seemed like the controlling cult was never satisfied until it sucked all the life out of individualism!!
  21. Exactly!......always adapting, always re-writing history. Which is just another example of my opening post......But it means also the ability to believe that black is white, and to forget that one has ever believed the contrary. This demands a continuous alteration of the past, made possible by the system of thought which really embraces all the rest, and which is known in Newspeak as doublethink.........or, "renewing the mind."
  22. As I remember it......HoHo Re-Lo was, initially, an inresidence corps reference to "a corps block relocation AFTER the holiday season." Back in 1978/79....when this term surfaced, there were FIVE corps campuses 1)HQ, 2)Emporia, 3)Rome City, 4)Camp Gunnison and 5) L.E.A.D. at Tinnie, New Mexico. For example, at the Emporia, Kansas campus there were 320 first-year corps and some 150 second-year corps in 1978......and the first "block" of training ENDED at the holiday period. Thus, when corps returned AFTER christmas break, many would be "relocated" to ANOTHER CAMPUS......hence, HO HO ReLo. The second "block" of training usually ended around April 1st or thereabouts......and many corps relocated again. But since "Ho Ho ReLo" had such a catchy stigma, it ruled the day. Besides, the "HoHo Re-Lo" period was quite significant in that many of the younger corps, having experienced 3-months of "training"....several would not return to the corps program December 30th. With wierwille's birthday on Dec. 31st, the corps coordinators wanted us back on campus on Dec. 30th. Oldskool's version is also correct......just a later version of the original. .
  23. In its approach to Christmas and the holiday season, twi was vastly different AFTER the research publication of Jesus Christ Our Promised Seed. Prior to this, twi seemed to be in a defensive mode as churches joyously ramped up worship services, choirs, nativity scenes, caroling and festive events. BUT......with JCOPS in hand, then twi went on the offensive. Corps were instructed to get out there and show 'em the truth.....you know, the prophecies, the Christ bloodline, the constellations and movement of the stars, the alignments, the dozens of Magi from the East, etc. etc. Then, like all things corps.....it became another class to sit thru. Uugh. Didn't twi know we could read? .
  24. When I step back and consider twi's "Happy Household Holiday," two categories surface: 1) Manipulation of words 2) Manipulation of thought reform Why should anyone be surprised that a secluded cult used holiday traditions and songs to INSERT ITSELF in the middle of it all? The trustees would send out holiday cards with this slogan, 'Happy HOUSEHOLD Holiday,' with the trustees picture included. No picture of "the babe in a manger" or "Bethlehem Star" or The Magi......nope, none of that! And christmas songs where words were changed and inserted to be more household-oriented. Nothing wrong with that, right? Add some skits depicting twigs, add some wierwillisms......and you don't have "Christmas" left. And, if they were to sarcastically attack "all things Christmas".......then why have Christmas trees at headquarters? So, let me get this straight: its pagan.......but still acceptable because dr wierwille likes christmas trees? Wayspeak = twi's manipulation of words to indoctrinate. When Robert Jay Lifton wrote his book Thought Reform and the Psychology of Totalism, first published in 1956.....one major area of indoctrination is Loading the Language. Those who desire to rule over the oppressed manipulate all aspects of language. And, anyone familiar with George Orwell's writings knows about "Newspeak." The basic idea behind Newspeak is to remove all shades of meaning from language, leaving simple dichotomies (pleasure and pain, happiness and sadness, goodthink and crimethink) which reinforce the total dominance of the State. Similarly, Newspeak root words served as both nouns and verbs, which allowed further reduction in the total number of words; for example, "think" served as both noun and verb, so the word thought was not required and could be abolished. A staccato rhythm of short syllables was also a goal, further reducing the need for deep thinking about language. (See duckspeak.) Successful Newspeak meant that there would be fewer and fewer words – dictionaries would get thinner and thinner. Time and time again, twi taught black-white doctrines......us versus them, twi household vs "earthly family," followers vs ex-followers, pfal or non-grad, corps or non-corps, christmas or ho-ho re-lo, etc. The manipulation into simple dichotomies served twi well. Regarding 2) The Manipulation of thought reform.....it aligns with Orwell's "doublethink." Like so many Newspek words, this word has two mutually contradictory meanings. Applied to an opponent, it means the habit of impudently claiming that black is white, in contradiction of the plain facts. Applied to a Party member, it means a loyal willingness to say that black is white when Party discipline demands this. But it means also the ability to believe that black is white, and to forget that one has ever believed the contrary. This demands a continuous alteration of the past, made possible by the system of thought which really embraces all the rest, and which is known in Newspeak as doublethink. Doublethink is basically the power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them. IMO.....the inner-circle Party of twi do just that! They hold TWO CONTRADICTORY BELIEFS AND ACCEPT BOTH. How else can one think "The Way" = the way? To think that the life and sacrifice of Jesus, the Christ and "the way, inc." serve and deliver God's people from evil are two contradictory beliefs!! Or, when Rosalie told her Way Mag staff editor that she didn't need to take time to read the scriptures BECAUSE she was fully immersed in reading and editing way magazine articles. Or, those who believe that pfal is on par with "It is written." Twi's subversion of words and thoughts is like holycrap........two contradicting entities.
