And then.....you quote them wierwille's pfal-verse in Hosea. Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for LACK OF KNOWLEDGE....

FOLLOW THE MONEY TRAIL....... ALWAYS

Yeah....holding up in their compound with paul blart cops patrolling twi grounds, they are SO RIGHT and SO MIGHTY. Of course, the "ark of the pfal covenant" is fiercely guarded.....wierwille gave his eye for the ministry and died brokenhearted when so many left him. sarc/ This poison is in their dna and could be exhumed from their graves 100 years from now.....and still register the poison-laced idolatry in crumbled bones. Maybe they should read Jeremiah 23: Jer 23:10 For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force [is] not right. Jer 23:11 For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD. Jer 23:12 Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery [ways] in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, [even] the year of their visitation, saith the LORD. Jer 23:13 And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err. Jer 23:14 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: .

excie....from a twi-agenda perspective, I would agree. However, today......twi has an internet-presence of disgruntled ex-followers. All those rosy-colored pictures of "sitting at the feet of the teacher" can easily be diffused by a laptop. Or, one can go to a sunday sermon at hq.....and observe the gray-haired ushers, the empty auditorium, the drab performance of joyless singing and the boring reading of a sermon. Or, one might ask to see where those annual wide-panoramic corps pictures are....you know, 7th-12th corps when the numbers were 320+ in succession. Why are the numbers so pathetic today, one might ask? Where did the 2nd president go? Ousted???? Sex predation lawsuit.....and it was settled out of court? Oh my! With every bit of knowledge gained.....MORE RED FLAGS FLY. Today, there is a twi-history that is undeniable. Today, one can easily see a gaping hole of "missing history." Today, the 3,000 corps that have exited is hard to scrub. Today, the deception is out in the open.....imo. What next? Wearing green robes to signify corps loyalty and vows of silence? <_<

Yeah......I heard the same warnings, but plunged ahead anyways. Kept seeing red flags in 1979/80 but others didn't have those concerns. What was I missing? As it turns out, I was seeing it correctly. When IDEOLOGY and AGENDAS are intertwined with oppression over people....it's amazing to learn that inner-circle collaboraters and enablers fuel the deception. The older I get, the more I see the same scenarios. Even in the science world....Phd scientist says he was DUPED. I Feel Duped on Climate Change - Click Here

Okay, you guys.......STOP IT RIGHT NOW. You're making me think that I wasted YEARS OF MY LIFE IN TWI. Please stop.....now. .

Thanks OldSkool.....appreciate it. Just as I thought....she scarcely took notice of her impact on wierwille's life. She had her sights far above the petty class-ideology that wierwille was building. Again, it just shows how insignificant wierwille/twi was to true Christian service. An amazing woman. An amazing life.

We were SO SPIRITUAL, weren't we??? Critiquing movies was a way of checking one's spiritual acumen.....wasn't it? Heck, even at advanced classes...they showed us portions of The Exorcist. The spiritual heavies dissected how the devil spirits worked 'right there before our eyes.' ---- There's a devil spirit ---- And, there's a sordid spirit

I have long believed that both of these women sat thru a wierwille/bible class and moved on.... .....with barely an interest of further involvement in this preachers' struggle of spiritual relevance. Remember....RR was the one who convinced wierwille that 'the word of God is the will of God.' So why should she follow him? Heck, she probably didn't even consider him a peer......let alone any teacher of sorts. She taught HIM.....and, perhaps, the Lord had other work for her to do. Same with EEHggns.....a doctor, busy life, had already searched Bullinger, did she see vpw as a novice? Yeah, I think she did. She was the one who, according to vpw, was half asleep in the class. To me....this is easy to figure out. Youth are gullible and adults are smarter. These adult women moved on!

More specifically, wierwille self-proclaimed that he was God's spokesman.....ie 'the man of God.' Remember his pfal definition of an apostle? One who brings NEW LIGHT TO A GENERATION......it may be old light, but its new to that generation. See the stealth description of wierwille in that "apostle definition?" Others may have spoken some of these truths in times past, but WIERWILLE IS THE ONE NOW.....listening and walking with God. ###### penworks....yes, it is ironic. The sole reason why we, supposedly gathered together in twi was for 'The Word'.....yet, when asked directly most didn't want to talk specifics. What a house of cards! <_<

The greatest hoax generated by wierwille and, by extension, twi.......wierwille taught 'The Word.' With conviction, decades after the 'revelation'........wierwille proclaimed that God answered his prayer with a sign, snow-on-the-gas-pumps, and audibly said, "I will teach you THE WORD like it hasn't been known since the first century if you will teach it to others." No witnesses ever saw any snow that day. No records of any phenomenon. Nothing. Except wierwille declaring he had 'The Word.' The caramel center of that 'revelation' that wierwille wanted you to bite into.......THE WORD. Twi was permeated with this buzzspeak.......stand on the word, do the word, live the word, speak the word....."It's the word, the word and nothing but the word." The mind-numbing monotony of it all was staggeringly subversive. Say it loud, say it often, claim you own it, claim you have it.....and people think you do. Isn't that what a snakeoil salesman does? He claims that his product will cure everything from hiccups to hemorrhoids. One needs to be gifted with charm and an appetite for carnival barking. Keep it simple, say it often.....and move on. Yet, all the 'research' of the product was in-house bottling, labeling, manufacturing and shipping. The inner-circle 'shareholders and upper echelon' of twi had every reason to perpetrate the hoax......AND STILL DO. They have their reward. They have their boardroom positions and the adulation of followers. The hoax continues its march to amass $54 million and counting. Not bad for a plagairist preacher who traveled the circuit selling his wares. I often remind myself that wierwille was 51 years old when pfal was filmed. He learned the art of marketing. He had watched and studied mens' ministries for decades, radio broadcast sermons, commentaries, church boards and congregants, etc. Building a nucleus of committed followers was written throughout the pages of scripture.....and then, 'rightly-dividing THE WORD of truth' was central. Past reflections reveal how youthful zest viewed wierwille as a pillar.......and yet, today I see a piker. Great men and women have come and gone thru the 19th and 20th centuries.....and young wierwille picked a peck of pickles. He labeled and sold jars of 'peaches'......pillaged from other preachers. Other hoaxes are far greater, for sure.....but wierwille's whole life was a series of lies. From hoaxes to hiccups......hope this helps. :)

1) Yeah......of course, 'present day TWI' views it THAT way. That's how propaganda works. That's the humming of twi-machinery in the background of wayworld....as the printing presses roll on. Wierwille was #1 on the lift list (early '80s) -- the first recipient of our prayers each morning. In his narcissistic world....even the Lord jumped hoops to bring these men in wierwille's path. Wierwille's 'believing' made it so. 2) Mrs. Wierwille's book gives enough details to dispel the 'wierwille did it all' mystique of twi lore. And, in following the timeline of events....wierwille was still on church payroll for 4 MORE YEARS after sitting thru BG's class twice and then, running with it. Wierwille's resignation on August 7, 1957 was received by unanimous vote....so, what does that tell you? Hahahaha Keep in mind, that when wierwille boasted about Ros@lind R1nker in pfal....and Dr. EE H1ggins (who gave wierwille a copy of Dr. Bullinger's companion bible).....BOTH LADIES SPLIT. After reading Bullinger and adding more 'research' to this holy spirit class.....wierwille changed the name after the fourth or fifth class to 'Power for Abundant Living.' Gotta put some distance between him and Leonard....ya know. With each passing year from the mesmerizing mythology of mogdom......it becomes easier to see how twi polished wierwille's image and put him on a pedestal. Yet, none of this rings true. BG Leonard was deeply disturbed by wierwille's plagairism of Leonard's class, and Leonard had his work copyrighted thereafter. The Van Wert church removed wierwille's name from their clergy registry. The neighbors across Wierwille Road were not even on talking terms with wierwille. Wierwille bristled temperments in profound ways. .

The answer to that question of WHERE...........BG Leonard Mrs. W's book gives explicit details of the impact Rev. Leonard had on wierwille. With this class-based model, everything that wierwille had previously considered pivoted to a new "center of learning" (BRC?)......like Leonard's centre in Canada. Here's an interesting quote from Mrs. W's book p.89..."After thirteen weeks of broadcasting on WLW, Cincinnati, the Nielsen ratings taken in April 1953 showed that seventy thousand homes were tuned in to our broadcast on Sundays. But since adequate funds were not coming in to cover the expenses and since we were thinking of changing our direction of outreach, the Board of Directors decided to cancel the broadcast and renew our contract with WLW at some future date if and when it seemed appropriate" See....with these broadcasts the money support was running dry, and the sanitized version (dorothy/karen/twi) presents a whole new set of "avenues to move the word"....IN 1953........DRUM ROLL...........P. 90 ++..............CLASSES, CLASSES, CLASSES.

For those who might not catch my tongue-in-cheek comment...... .....thinking about someday being married does not constitute the beginning of marriage vows 1) wierwille was a full-time pastor in Paine, OH in 1942 2) a few kids singing into a microphone does not constitute the anniversary date of twi 3) that's like saying Disneyland officially opened with Walt's unfolding idea of Mickey Mouse .
-
OldSkool......I would suggest to you that it's not strange at all. Christian love has no ill-will towards others. For them to dismiss you speaks more pointedly at them. The ole three-fingers are pointing straight back to their policies and cult-like mentality. They choose to divide. They choose to mark & avoid. Coming out of the belly of the beast.....and back to christian values is a good thing. Welcome back. :)
-
Yeah......and wierwille got married at the age of nine. At school, he sat near a girl at lunchtime.....and knew that someday he'd get married.
-
Twi dates its anniversary in accordance with the first broadcast of Vesper Chimes....October 3, 1942. Hypocrisy aside, wierwille should have dated twi's actual anniversary date as August 7, 1957......that is the official date that wierwille resigned from the St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church in Van Wert, OH and started out on his own.
-
chockfull......nice synopsis, thanks. The short choke chain micromanagement of twi......is the TASKMASTER dominance over his slave. Everything that the corps program has become......is the ANTITHESIS to walking by the spirit. For wierwille to have structured his leadership training program in this manner gives further evidence that he, contrary to his public and published persona, hadn't the slightest recognition of walking with the Father. This top-down, rigid, conformity-driven, oppressive-induced, burden-laden structure is the trademark insignia of the enemy's kingdom.
-
And.....being a corps graduate is akin to wearing a monitoring ankle bracelot. And.....where twi is a microcosm of authoritarianism.
-
By all accounting, today's corps "training" is NO LONGER a program.......its a chosen lifestyle. In 1992 or thereabouts, twi mandated WEEKLY ATTENDANCE TO CORPS PHONE HOOK-UPS for all field corps graduates. Each limb or branch coordinator reports attendance numbers to corporate hdqts prior to the start of the corps meeting. Anyone who was associated with twi during the 1994/95 era remember that 'Reporting Back' was instituted as another pillar of twi's strength. So....corps graduates MUST attend weekly corps meetings (September --> May)......or what? Well, the escalation of confrontations will begin in earnest....beginning with "deep concern for his/her spiritual growth." This first confrontation of "concern" might last an hour or so...depending on receptivity or obstinance. Confrontations have become the norm in twi. Any leader who has been around twi for any length of time knows how the process works. At each stage of resistance, the number of confronters grow and the volume increases. The final stage is a calculated standoff with the corps grad in the firing zone.....are you with us (twi) or against us? I suppose another dirty little secret in twi's closet was that WIERWILLE ALWAYS EXPECTED TO PUT A LEASH ON THE CORPS......but even then, corps grads slipped away without confrontation. The paradigm of the corps program is TOTALLY DIFFERENT that it was back in the late '70s... when corps promotional brochures characterized it as "training future twig coordinators." In fact, the 7th corps numbers had so swelled that corps leadership dampened their expectations for spiritual leadership positions and that some should go into secular fields after graduation. Wierwille publically stated that he envisioned someone would donate ONE MILLION DOLLARS to twi and, after that meeting, two 7th corps guys said that this was now their goal. The vague generalizations of twi's corps program were all over the place back then. Let's see, there were......1)special corps -- exceptions everywhere, 2)military corps -- some had military orders to fulfill, 3)corps married non-corps and given 'corps status' 4)way builder corps missed whole blocks of classes -- working at LEAD in Tinnie or Grand Log Homes in Colorado.....etc. In other words, the corps program had a very large tent........and a long, long leash. Today, no secret what twi demands. The choice is made. The leash is very short. Maybe, that's why the corps numbers are anemic. <_<

Their re-petitive fellowships are like re-gurgitated refried beans.

In a society of values and ethics....that is true. But....in the twisted realm of manipulators, cults, and totalitarian regimes CONFORMITY is the basic tenet while education and knowledge are ruled by propaganda. Reeducation is the inbreeding of an incestuous father.

Wierwille's proclamation of "God's audible voice".......too contrived, too rehearsed. After everything we've learned and heard about wierwille AFTER ALL THESE YEARS.....is there any doubt that this was a bald-faced lie? To this day, with all that I remember about those way days......I can NOT remember seeing ONE sign, ONE wonder, ONE healing, or ONE miracle where wierwille was involved. When one reads thru Mrs. W's book......EVERYTHING wierwille did he "borrowed" or plagairized from someone else. Rev. Fuller did a unique radio broadcast each week..........wierwille was "inspired by God" E. Stanley Jones -- writes about "The Way" & India trips....wierwille was "inspired by God" JE Stiles in Tulsa was able to answer vpw's questions p.80..wierwille was "inspired by God" BG Leonard's class in Calgary, Alberta -- vp a student......wierwille was "inspired by God" Dr. Williams hosts vpw in Indai and helps open all doors....wierwille was "inspired by God" Albert Cliffe from Canada wrote Let Go and Let God....wierwille was "inspired by God" EW Bullinger -- 4 crucified with Christ/fig.of sp/etc.......wierwille was "inspired by God" PFAL......foundational material, class schedule, segments & sessions, graduate of class, class picture, Canadian Free Press published Leonard's works.......every step wierwille copied. And, with all this information.....twi pushes wierwille at a renowned spiritual founder? Sheeesh....wierwille took his "church of the navelites" back to his dad's property. <_<

One of the reasons why many find it challenging to dismantle the wierwille/twi/god issue is......they cannot separate the little detail that wierwille was the spokesman on both sides of the table. With pfal as base support, wierwille held deep support for those who wanted Jesus as savior and the power of god in their lives. Yet, in later years......wierwille had moved to THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TABLE when he spoke and "negotiated for slave rule" in his beloved twi as the corps program was advanced. When wierwille spoke simple truths of scripture for God.........it rang true. When wierwille spoke of unity and commitment for THE ministry...it too rang true. IMO....with each passing year, wierwille was walking back his adamant stance on "the pfal christ-in-you energy" that brought many of us to the table in the first place. Think about it.....how many times after PFAL '77 did you ever hear wierwille get all hepped up about that christ-in-you message again? Once or twice?....in those 8 more years before his death? In theory, wierwille was the spokesman for God AND twi. How did the two get so intrinsically meshed into one? Well..."God said that he'd teach me the Word like it hadn't been known since the first century if I'd teach it to others." Self-proclaimed and unequivocably, wierwille was God's Spokesman and Arbiter of Truth! Just like that, wierwille inserted himself. Not to mention the twi propaganda in the years to follower....."The Word is the ministry and the ministry is the Word." Well, glory halleluiah...there you have it! If wierwille speaks "the word" AND the ministry is "the Word"......everyone who serves in twi is on a mission for God. And subsequently, anyone who leaves twi.......leaves God. On both sides of the table wierwille negotiated the issue. He "spoke for God." He spoke for twi. And, what was he negotiating? What was the issue? A believer's life and service .
