I'd say they are goners ... not sure though. My guess is that the growing point is gone ... they won't push any more leaves. I have about a dozen rutgers tomato plants I started from seed. I put a gallon milk jug (with the bottom cut out) over them. That would stop mild frost, rabbits, and other little nippers. :)

When someone uses the "God is working in me to change you" line ... I pretty much put them in the same category as the used car salesman that says "trust me my friend" ... Don't trust him, and he is not your friend. God told me to tell you all this in this reply. My Baptist uncle always condemned our poor sinner Lutheran family. I remember after I was out of twi, getting a call from an anointed one (for sponsorship), gushing about how incredible it was God had called her to the corpse (and I had fallen from His grace apparently). "why me?" She was asking the right question at least. As I recall, she had previously done a stint with scientology. She was a special chosen one there as well.

At first I thought this was another friggin' question, but you clarified it as just about replacing light bulbs. As a former light maintenance worker at Emporia, I can definitively say it takes 2 to change the bulbs over the "pulpit" in the chapel ... one to hold the 40 foot ladder, and one really stupid one (that would be me) to climb straight up the ladder (which is not resting on anything at the top). D*n Mo*an showed up to help ... with inspirational words like "holy sheet" or something to that effect. So 2 is the whole integer, but since d*n helped a little, he counts a half, but since I was probably in your "not bright enough" category, I probably only count as a half ... so we can call it 2, since in your religion you only seem to allow whole integers. (I realize you said we could discuss that, but I recognize that as a subtle ploy to draw out my beliefs so you can tell me I'm going to hell if I believe in real numbers). We could go on but there is no point in talking more cuz I can see you are a moron and your mind is closed on this subject. I can't believe you brought up such a divisive subject.

Well, there is a lot of offensive comedy out there, but this is a reply to the PETA absurdity that is real, and harmful to humans at times. I guess it could go in politics ... but mostly it is funny to me ... Goldfish in a blender is a pretty easy way to go ... making pointed fun of PETA actually helps humans and animals ... I think ...

I'm not sure what PETA would say about that ... I usually limit my pig mud wrestling bouts to 45 minutes, but I admire your stamina ...

A friend in New Orleans sent me this link to an animation of just what happened when Katrina hit. It steps through where the walls of water came in ... Katrina animation If the link won't play, do what David says below I guess ... it plays directly from the link for me ... it really shows how overwhelming was the mass of water that first swept into the eastern part of New Orleans ... while initail reports were coming in that maybe New Orleans had dodged another bullet ... then later even those other parts became mostly flooded ...
