I'm just catching up here, and drinkin beer ... but what do you mean by radical capitalism? All that tax money is being spent by big government. If prices are going through the roof .. taxes shouldn't have to go up too? There is too much money out there ... the rules for making money are the reason for the real estate bubble ... government is in charge of fake money (just look at your money, it is no longer money, just a note from the federal reserve ... yes I know, they are "private") Anyway, I think socialistic policies work Ok till they kill off the capitalist host. But it may be the host is already dead, and the leeches are just borrowing against the still warm blood. That's as good as I can do after a few brews.

:) Well, those 10th corpse need some time in the sun, even if it comes with help from the perfect 9th corpse. Spring not quite sprung here, but at least it is not freezing and we are getting rain instead of snow. Still ice around and the lane is squishy.

moon over parador I actually saw that, but didn't remember the title.

Everyone I know is pretty po'd about this. How do a few loud mouths get their way? The new mascot should be something generic ... but it should do the same dance. Could "they" complain about that? Maybe a big orange. Is there a movement to protect overly sensitive oranges? They allowed them to keep "Illini" because it is a nick for Illinois. And fighting as in fighting spirit. Good grief. So I'm for a fighting orange. But those "Secret Life of Plants" people will surely show up in due time to squelch the fighting orange, becasue it is offensive to orange trees everywhere. I wonder if a non-fighting Illini would be OK? A passive Illini? Maybe only a socialist Illini would pass muster.

mister parador I had to look up "lowing" I thought maybe it was not appropriate for a family channel or mooo whatever it is when a star explodes ...

I don't care who sticks what where, but I really don't get gays being priests or anything related to Christianity. It's like they have to glom on to Christianity, instead of making their own gay religion. Why would that be?

we had an inch or two, but the wind made huge drifts ... we were ready to go get the new 4 wheel drive sport red silverado ... but couldn't get out the lane ... even the tractor got stuck on the thick ice under all the snow ... 40's and 50's next week though :)

what's the one about catchin' a polar bear? cut a hole in the ice, put peas by it, when he comes up to take a pea, kick him in the ice hole I heard that in twi, but the person telling it was immediately ... bitten by devils ...
-
well, I have about 8 inches but with the cold 25-35mph winds ... it is only one inch oh, and the drifts are like 2 feet ...

After weeks of freezing, it was forecast for 33 yesterday, but we got to 43. They said 33 today too, but we hit 42 and most of the ice is finally melting off the lane. Temps are dropping now, down to 36, tonight through tomorrow it is supposed to drop 8" of snow. Then a couple days real cold. Man ...

Well, this is a good little group of folks here ... I can't imagine needing to leave them. But if it brings up some evil that can't be dealt with, I guess it is best. But if you have to go, it is nice to go out with $18,000/month to play with. I guess this means I'm not gonna see that salmon.

If the brakes were just squeeling, you were probably just down to the "squeelers" and not doing any damage to the rotors yet. So it should have been simple. I think if you don't get a pad in right, or maybe leave out a little item, it might vibrate. But if they only accept cash, and they messed it up a second time, I wouldn't go back, and maybe report them to the Better Business Bureau. Maybe the second time in they messed something up so you would be a repeat customer. I'd go somewhere that at least accepts credit cards, givig you a better shot at a dispute.

CES is in a Mess...

Guys in big D used to go offer moral support to a girl that did just that. But she was pretty and hot. She was pretty neat actually ... and I hope she is doing well still. Married some fellowshipper there ... nice crowd they were. But I don't think MG could make a career of it. He better keep his pants on in public, and not try to show off to young ladies like VP allegedly did. People aren't quite so forgiving these days. -
tell us about the drugs being prescribed please.... and the psychoanalysis too.

just a refresher ...all stem cell research is legal I think embryonic stem cell research is legal, but not government supported except for the very many lines that are already being researched ... with perhaps limitless possibilities, they are governement supported and non embryonic have provided all the real results so far and non embryonic seem to be more promising than embryonic, as far as I understand ...

I guess there is still time ... but that's a lot of turnovers
