    Any fish lovers?

I had salt for about ten years ... real nice, but I got tired of buying $25 little fish ... about half the time the died in a month. Those carpet anemones are neat till they die and rot ... what a smelly mess ... LOL Clowns and damsels are pretty easy, with maybe an angel and some hermit crabs. Lionfish are cool. Any Florida divers wanna ship me some fish cheap? :) Yellow tangs I mean, not redfish. I still have the 90 and 110 tank ... time to set them back up ... maybe just some koi or something low maintenance. I had African cichlids in one for a couple years, watched them have the little babies. Kinda neat.

    Boxers or Briefs

boxers or briefs sounds like male options ... That lace is just a little rough for me ... and the bikini is way too tight ... do they make a softer lace in a boxer brief style?

    Boxers or Briefs

actually you need a boxer brief choice ... those are the best ... kinda stretchy like briefs, but loose legs like boxers ....
  4. Shirley the spirit is moooving mightily amungus .... chuck I know, and karie I know ... but who is this furious one? dust he was and dust he still clean dust off windows in the panhandle? Was it Lubbock? sheila mcdonald, I remember now, yes ... good woman she was, shirley she is even gooder now ... Well, it seems we are being called together to go lightbearers ... pack it up ... off we go we're on our way to Ohio ... we will go shine the light at twi HQ? Are there any 9th corpse there we could save? Nancy? ummm ... Bill n Fran ... not sure Anyway, fun to see what is up with some of you good folks ... :)
  5. Hi Karie ... right about the H. I googled your name and "blog", and your friend's blog came up first. Apparently I went to the wrong tab when I grabbed the link for that last post. I saw your tidbit about the Saints ... Your folks are still in New Orleans then? Did they fare OK through Katrina? Most of my friends there had substantial damage, many are rebuilding. The French Quarter was largely high and dry though, and much of uptown.
  6. OK, I investigated ... Apparently this Socal Mom: Miracles DO Happen is your blog ... That is cool, except you are too smart for me ... still, since you seem patient, maybe we can hang :) I am a 40-something, Christian wife and mother, married to Chuck for 25 years. I have two children, Eric, 15 years old, and Aimee, eight years old. I have a Ph.D. from UCLA in Near Eastern Languages (Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude graduate). I am a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. I quit my job at UCLA six years ago to stay home with my kids and homeschool them. I love to read. I aspire to be a life-long learner, and I really, really want to impart, first of all unfeigned faith, and second, a love of learning, to my children. WOW ... I once aced a pretty good team five times in a row in sand bar volleyball... does that count? (in New Orleans btw, post twi I spent 12 years there. But they are volleyball chumps compared to the SoCal VB'ers) You are obviously an over achiever ... but hopefully you can hang here a bit and connect with folks like me. There are prolly a few other over achievers here ... I still think we used to talk a little, but can't quite bring it back ...
  7. Well, I wasn't very noticeable, but I think I remember Karie... and Chuck just a little ... it is all very hazy ... blonde and shorter than sheila? Was that Sheila Fern? The mind is a terrible thang. Only other Sheila I remember was in my twig ... till she left and became a deprogrammer. :o Good to hear you are doin' fine Karie. I was tall and cleaned windows mostly first year ... oh, and light maintenance ... I was 20 years gone from twi and somehow found this site, wondering if there was even a twi anymore ...

    Logic problem

This one requires thought, don't rush think it out! You are driving in a car at a constant speed. On your left side is a 'drop off' (The ground is 18-20 inches below the level you are traveling on), and on your right side is a fire engine traveling at the same speed as you. In front of you is a galloping horse which is the same size as your car and you cannot overtake it. Behind you is a galloping zebra. Both the horse and zebra are also traveling at the same speed as you . What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation? For the answer click and drag your mouse from star to star. * Get your drunk arss off the merry-go-round. *
  13. I came here after being out almost 20 years. But I have connections with people that were in that groovy time with me, mostly the ones that were as delusional as I was about doing something for God. :) But it is also intersting as a case study of human nature. A lot of the submission and power structure is exhibited in corporate America or in other dominant dynamic relationships. Also chat is fun with all the lovable babes ...
  14. Well ... happy happy birthday ... good you got "lassoed" in by your wonder woman ... OK, lame ... but have a good one ... :)
  15. Might be my favorite movie ... great scenery ... they still had wide open spaces ... I liked the slow motion scene when the horses go through the snowy area ... and when the two of them are on the ridge looking over everything ... they sorta rise above all the conflicts of life ... hard to do now days ...
  16. I had an uncle or two that never did submit to all that DST cult stuff. It made timing interesting, but I respected their commitment. :)
  17. jamanji or whatever that robin williams movie was I guess that is not really a word not sure how you get it except for the J

    Banning Booing

Not only should booing be banned, but cheering should be mandated. There should be cameras set up to see who is not cheering enthusiastically enough. Students should even turn in parents that voice dissent to the team, or to anything the teacher union board promotes. Dissent will be allowed during hate week, when people exposed as inadequate cheerers will be booed, while they are publicly flogged. OK, just sayin' ... it seems a little Orwellian ...
  19. Here George ... or anyone ... to put you in the mood for the game this afternoon ... will they stop them from playing the war chant? You are right ... 5000 chiefs in the crowd ... chief in you .. the hope of Glow reeeeee They need a win of three to get in the big show I think ... OK, they should win this ... but I guess they have to beat Indiana next ... which would put them in the big tourney ... fat chance Just hope they don't all go out and party after this ... or at least get designated drivers ...

Well, it is about done, but if you have clear skies and look east you can still see the earth's shadow on the moon the UK saw the total eclipse earlier
  23. Preying on people when they are in a weakened state is nothing new. It is one of the baser animal instincts I suppose ... And those predators you speak of are very base.
  24. HAPPY HAPPY Have a great one ...
