    Leaving Islam ....

That link gave several Koran quotes of what was supposed to happen to those that left ... 14 passages in the Koran refer to apostasy — According to Baidhawi’s commentary, Sura 4: 88-89 reads: “Whosoever turns back from his belief, openly or secretly, take him and kill him wheresoever ye find him, like any other infidel. Separate yourself from him altogether. Do not accept intercession in his regard.” Of course the more closed off they are when in the cult, the harder it is to get out. But there are plenty of reasons to be Christian instead of Muslim ... even from a senses point of view. It is when the dark ages aspects of Islam meet the more modern west and more "modernized" Christian views ... then things get interesting.

    Leaving Islam ....

To judge the majority of Islam, you'd go to the middle east where I think they are less tolerant than TWI. Did TWI ever issue any death threats for cartoons depicting Jesus in a bad light? Murder and terrorism was never part of TWI ... you really want to say Islam is quite a bit more tolerant? Come on .... We know of all the attrocities incited by faith based rage in Islam, and for printing cartoons of Mohammed's image ... are there any cases of Christians bombing anything in reaction to calling Jesus vile names? I can't think of one. Yet you say Christians would probably bomb a congressman's house? And Pawtucket has this site which exposes twi problems, yet I don't think twi has issued a death threat, despite his direct rejection of that religion.

    Leaving Islam ....

This relates to mark and avoid ... only the mark is a little more violent at times ... Ehsan Jami, the committee’s founder, who rejected Islam after the attack on the twin towers in 2001, has become the most talked-about public figure in the Netherlands. He has been forced into hiding after a series of death threats and a recent attack. The threats are taken seriously after the murder in 2002 of Pim Fortuyn, an antiimmigration politician, and in 2004 of Theo Van Gogh, an antiIslam film-maker. “Sharia schools say that they will kill the ones who leave Islam. In the West people get threatened, thrown out of their family, beaten up,” Mr Jami said. “In Islam you are born Muslim. You do not even choose to be Muslim. We want that to change, so that people are free to choose who they want to be and what they want to believe in.” Of course, even at GreaseSpot most don't like their names searchable, as retribution of various kinds is still possible. Fortunately twi is just a greasespot on the highway of life, especially compared with some of the more radical aspects of Islam.
  5. Johnny's logic is fine, you just have to start with the premise that VP was on par with Paul, so he could issue his own revelation. As MOGFOT, previous scripture is understood in light of VP's more current gospel.
  6. Verily I say unto you this day ... that was the interpretation ... which was supposed to be english for us, I guess using the king's english made it more authoritative The angel language wasn't english ... and I thought olde english was different ... like Chaucer, but I can't remember that poem from high school, and maybe that is middle english.
  7. the excellors sessions needed to use the angel alphabet ... or foreign tongue alphabet ... by using english, we were limiting the other languages ... right? Excie is an angel, so she is speaking in tongues all the time?
  8. well .. 64 first time ... sneaky little feller ...
  9. Back then it was about the stars and triple conjunctions and all that. It seemed pretty compelling at the time. But it seems others going by star dates have come up with other dates. The star record is searchable, so a significant heavenly event around that time would be a good date to use. The good magi of the time apparently followed the stars ... Garth, I think the pagans that worship by shopping and decorating phallic symbols can keep the date in December ... Santa's reindeer tend to poop all over the nativity scenes anyway ...
  10. 10 for 10 :) just read the instructions
  11. OK, but the only way you get that kinda food here is if it is in a microwavable little box. Hope you don't mind eating right out of the little black plastic plates.
  12. I learned later that "La shanta alla ma sheeka" in angel means "Hey baby, how's about you and me ..." I'm not sure what sheeka means ... I'm kinda thinkin' this was not "good angel" talk ... I think he cleaned it up in the interpretation ... Like "I will always love you" instead of "I wanna sheeka you all night long"
  13. "Fluency" in tongues was always an odd concept ... did the apostles have excellors' sessions pre-Pentecost? you move your mouth your lips ... but the holy spirit gives the utterance ... once it practices learning new words ...
  14. OK, here is some "pron" for women ... this is what they really want ...
  15. Surely this is the year for the Fighting Illini ... they are due ... well, the Big Ten Eleven has 3 in the top 12 at least ... I guess they had a couple good years in there since '78 when I was last there ... but now they lost the chief ... :( Howdy Jerry and Margie, I hardly knew thee ... McSherry ... wasn't that the alcohol shake they tried at MacDonalds? I'd like a McSherry shake with fries ....

    Holocaust

so it is Box 328? fahrenheit 451 409 is that cleaner right? but I do remember vp saying we wouldn't have been (much?) worse off if the Germans had won WW2 ... numbers are a little less significant and not tied to anything else. Some things are very clear and tied to a lot of other facts ... I still don't see why bloodline matters ... surely everyone has a little of every nation by this late date ... 25 years per generation ... 80 generations (at least) to get back to the gospels. What is 2 to the 80th? About ... 1,208,925,819,614,630,000,000,000 That is how many great80 grandparents you have ... square that if you go back another 2000 years ... I think it is a lot more than there ever have been on earth. Meaning we are all Jews and everything else ... with a good deal of "inbreeding". All it takes is one Jew to wander over to Europe or Africa and somewhere ... we are all related, even if you don't believe in Adam and Eve.

    Holocaust

I'm just curious, is bloodline even important to Jews today? My sister became Jewish ... is there a seperate category for those outside "the bloodline"?

    Holocaust

you're saying the jews today are 2000 years old? vp was in favor of any outreach that would send money to box 415 .. (is that right? 408? LOL) jewish outreach ... black outreach ... piffle in espanol ... just show them the money ...
  19. Good .. it's all coming together ... yeah Belle, they do grapes near Denver, Gunnison is pretty high, but we'll manage ... and yeah, you get a key ... Rascal, that sounds good ... you could move right into the tack house with your little yoda friend .... I wonder if I could find the camp image on line via satellite. Ha .. looks like they built a little more along the river. and a few other new cabins ... you can click on the little "aerial image" tag in the top right and then zoom in a little ... We need a name for our action ... "stop the creeps" recovery program ... ummm ... not too catchy ... hmmm.
  20. You know, I think the statute of limitations starts once the fraud is discovered. I just now discovered it was all about the money, and they got a ton. A good lawyer will get all us grieving Gspotters a time share at Gunnison. Since I am starting this ... I want the little TJ house full time, and I'll arrange activites and housing for yous guys whenever you want to come. Whoever gets the lawyer team (they get a third?) and works that ... they get second choice. So really all that's left is to discuss if we want Morgans again, or what kind of horses? Oh boy ... I'm looking forward to partying with you guys ... oh .. the building with the kitchen ... will have a full bar, and surely we can come up with a band. Come on guys, we are a group to be reckoned with. Let's not piiss it away on just talk. We have numbers and knowledge. Belle ... can you lead the charge ... and I'll see you at Camp Gunnison in about a year ... I still have my belt buckle. Yahoooo ... Can someone makeup a form for sign ups for the time shares?

    WIPE OUT!

Like I said .. the "do battle" language didn't seem like simple discussion. I won't try to define who those people are, I'm just saying it would be easy to go overboard in that direction, and become a little obsessed with doing battle and telling others to knock it the hell off. But I'm not interested in delving in to those thousands of posts to uncover who is asking whom to "goose step". I'm just saying what it looked like to me. And the "goose step" language ... are you referring to something more specific? The nazi language .. is that code for people holding to twi beliefs, since vpw is rumored to hold to some old nazi like beliefs? Just curious, since I haven't seen anyone demanding behavior like that. I guess I could see that years of discussing twi experiences could evolve into its own weird religion. There is a lot documented here. I can see that for some it would be better to move away from this site so as not to dwell on that era too much. I like the mix of people, and the old bond that I have with many here. But if I hadn't forgotten all about twi before coming here, I'm not sure how healthy it would be to hang here so much. But I see you are saying the discussion is more on post twi experiences. Perhaps it's like alcoholics that get away from drinkers? Not sure that is a good analogy ... maybe there is a constant need for support for some. Hopefully recovery can be more complete than that. And for many maybe twi was just church ... Anyway ... these are the only goose steppers I want ...

    WIPE OUT!

I don't know who the clique is, and there may be some healing I don't see ... but on the other hand, there may be people who feel their ministry is here, "reaching out" to all the wounded that stop by. And it could be they actually repel people that don't want to run the gauntlet of another little inner sanctum of enlightened folks that feel a need to minister to them. My apologies Bumpy, there may indeed be some cult like residue remaining. Of course all my comments are worthy of framing, but others should consider that they don't necessarily have some gawd appointed role here. Certainly no one should have to show up to do battle with the powers that be. I suppose the "knock it the hell off" thread and the "do battle" language makes me think there is some sort of power struggle ... and not even by the official site ministers. But people have hung out here for a long time ... so live and let live.

    WIPE OUT!

Awe come on Bumpy ... you're not gonna chat from Africa? Tell us stories of the natives being eaten by lions? Or by land sharks? How can you leave such a great gang? As to saving twi lights ... I think I would have left twi sooner had I had all this info to read. But I was gone in 1986, and can't even relate to the mark and avoid stuff. This site has no cult like qualities that i see. We don't give money or recruit. There is no set doctrine. We don't even get to have extra marital sex ... do we? Now calling Pawtucket "Paw" might remind some of "father in the word" type terminology. I'm not sure if any young gals here are attracted to him as a "father figure" ... but as long as he doesn't drug them and offer to enlighten them sexually ... I'd say there is little that is cult like here.
  24. yeah, it is a little difficult to act like it is understandable because he grew up with it and didn't really know better ... but then to say but that is no excuse. It is making an excuse for him, but a poor excuse. Whoopi says she would judge him much differently if he was from New York City. I don't get the torturous killing of the dogs. Is that supposed to inspire the other dogs to perform better? It seems like a horrific release of sub-human sadism.
