  1. Hey Oldies, My bicycle gets about 8 miles to a Big Mac.
  2. in THE words of Billy Joel... We didn't start THE fire
  3. Thanks Kathy, Operational Security is a BIG issue over here. We don't want the bad guys piecing together information with which to hurt us. So maybe its best to leave such things in God's hands.
  4. LOL @ George's post. I'd really love to comply with that order! Chatty, who are your nephews? If they are in northern Iraq, I'd be glad to give 'em a hug.
  5. Hey gang, Gaspricewatch.com will help you find the lowest price for gas in your area by zipcode. Plus you don't even have to register. Hope this info helps. BTW the price for a gallon of regular fuel in northern Iraq: about 25 cents.
  6. Oilfield!! quick, quick, get up offin yur knees youre worthy.
  7. THE countdown is nearly complete. Perhaps... Mruahh ha ha ha ha Mruahh ha ha ha ha Mruahh ha ha ha haaaawwww
  8. Actually, I was thrown by your comment that it was a bad show! BTVS was actually rather clever, and, yes, did have some good-looking young ladies. It was definitely better than the movie version, though Kristy Swanson is rather easy on the eyes, too! George Aww, I'm late. But Buffy was the only one I could name. Perhaps I'm the only one but I was bummed when the show ended. I think there are reruns on some satellite networks, but we can't view them in Iraq doggonit.
  9. One way to tell if your work environment is too loud is to try this test: On your way to work turn the volumn of your radio to a comfortable level. On your way home from work, see if you have to turn up the volumn.
  10. Paw, My wife says my condition is 'spousal listening' or 'selective hearing'. But I would have to agree that I have some hearing loss. I have to turn up the radio in the car or the television so I don't miss something said.
  11. Filled with debbil spurts or not I still love you.
  12. Sorry to leave you hanging Rascal. I had a small urgency to attend to. Yes, Mr. Hammeroni it's still a little tender, but God's working with me on it. There's a beautiful story on it in the To Brother Speed thread. But back to my wife. Long story short, she's fine. She can walk without canes or crutches now. She can drive herself now. She cannot hear out of her left ear quite yet, but that's still healing. Her healing's a work in progress; it's only been 5 months since her surgery.
  13. Mr. Hammeroni, i'm not worried about g. dub as he wouldn't know if I did. i do concern myself with his underlings who are my overlings however. i base this concern upon the fact that when my wife had a brain tumor surgery scheduled and performed last April, i was not allowed to skip out of Iraq for a couple of days to attend.
  14. Thanks Rascal, It's a teeny bit over a year away. I'll make plans to attend.
  15. Awww, I just finished reading this thread. It sounds like a real blast. I'd love to skip out of Iraq and come, but, well... Anyhoo, perhaps someone could bring a digicam and take a kajillion pics and post a few?
  16. Newlife, I think your post is wonderful, thanks for sharing! I also think (imho) that GOD loves you, not because of what you have learned, but because you are that important
  17. If Pawtucket Were God My hand would be healed and I could be stamped in THE thread.

    A Fat Cat

Well, that's one fat cat that can best my dog. But I can't say the same for the last fat cat he disposed of. I don't hate all cats. Lazy house cats are pathetic and worthless. Cougars are just about the coolest.
  19. I won't appologize for being fond of the fairer sex. I won't appologize for loving my wife the way that I do. I won't appologize for having a sense of humor. Good day, people.
  20. All the same Mark, I'll crash in Frankfurt anytime. :)-->
  21. God is soooo big that it takes everlasting to everlasting just to contain Him. :)-->
  22. QUOTE] And when you register (a must if you wish to post), you do have to tell them who your twi coordinater is, or you don't get into the site. Plain and simple. It's locked down to the likes of us, but that's fine by me:)--> David Golly! Sounds as tho they don't want to use their site as a recruiting platform. -->
  23. Welcome Candsa! I left twi in 87, but never returned. I married a wonderful adorable in 88. Brought Mr. wonderful into the world in 89. [long bitter story omitted] I divorced the Spawn of Satan in 93. I met current wife in 96, married her in 98. We've been in love and happy ever since. For the children of divorce: Mr. wonderful loves his step-mother very much.
