I've had good and bad customer service before and I am certain that I will get more of each. But by far the most memorable incident was when my tire started going flat. I couldn't keep air in it. Seems that a screw was imbedded in the tire. I took the car to Les Schwab's tire center and just like the commercial, they came running. Treated me like I owned the place. And then, when the car was ready to go, I asked how much I owed them. The answer was "It's on us, just come back and see us again sometime." I said thank you and left with a smile on my face.

I filled up in Boise, ID for my vacation on the Oregon coast at $2.91. When I got to Depoe Bay, OR it was $2.68. When I got home it was $2.49 in Boise, ID. Perhaps it was me driving the price down all this time. lol.

I've had personalized plates for quite sometime. My first was PAWSCAT on a '67 Merc Cougar. My next was CUGRLVR on a '94 Merc Cougar. I became miffed because I didn't get a space between CUGR and LVR. But I saw seven characters and a space on lots of plates in my state like HORS LVR. Anyway, I kept the plates but let them lapse and sold or traded the Cougars. Now I don't have a personalized plate registered on my vehicles, mostly because their gettin' too expensive, but because I'm still miffed about the lack of a space. Now I have a state issued plate that reads and I kid you not, 1A CM269. I won't surrender that for anything.

Belle, Your friend isn't correct on fire either. The correct answer is 1) atmosphere in which to burn, (not necessarily oxygen) 2) source of ignition, (my fingers have heat, but this keyboard still won't catch fire) and 3) fuel. Also Belle, I told you before in another thread: The line between right and wrong is filled with various shades of grey matter.

Could Markomalley be a widower? But zooming back on topic... I was married the first time for eight years. Went thru a long, bitter divorce making that actually nine years. Then I shacked up with my current spouse for over a year. We finally married and have been for nearly eight years.

I only had a yellow one at the time that I used it. I was also told that yellow is the only color that works, but quite honestly I do not know if that statement is true. I suppose that if you have a scratched up cd that you don't particularly care for you could try a test on that one with a pink highlighter. The cd that i used this on had one song that would play for 45 seconds and then the player would freeze up at that point. Then I was told to use a yellow highlighter on the scratches that were on the cd. The scratches only messed up the one song, not the other 15 that were on the cd. I drew on the scratch with the highlighter, let it dry, and played that song on the cd player. The player played right through the scratch but about 1.5 seconds of the song are missing. It's not perfect I know but at least the CD no longer freezes up on that one song. None of the other songs are affected. Hope this helps.

The disk cleaners do a fairly good job at removing fingerprints, lint and dust from cd's and dvd's. Aerosol cans of compressed air are necessary to remove the dust that collects on the laser reader. However, what I've found to be most helpful with scratches, even deep ones, are yellow highlighters. Just highlight the scratch, let it dry, and play.

Underaged girls married to older men...me thinks the girls be sisters...it still be only one mother-in-law...inbreeding and such.

Pretending? No no, that was the real Kenny Rogers. He had some plastic surgery. Personally, I prefer the old wrinkles to this "new look" of his. Six decades of making music is quite a run don't ya think?

Aww, Mandisa left. Normally, she is quite a performer but country just wasn't for her. So appropriate is that song they leave with. "you had a bad day". At least she could have a job with Barry Manilow. If my votes meant anything, Bucky should've left, not Mandisa. He practically mumbled every word in his song. I didn't understand but about every 5th word. Kenny Rogers told Bucky to enunciate the lyrics but Bucky did not. And Bucky was in his element?!! The show was not as disappointing as last week. I rather enjoyed the performances of everyone except, Elliott Yamin and Bucky. I could see either of the two leaving before Mandisa. I s'pose good for them that I'm not the deciding factor.

Well originally, the Halloween Eve the 30th, but that flight was cancelled. Then it WAS the 1st of Nov, but that also was cancelled. Now it's the 2nd of Nov, still pending... If this one is cancelled as well, I'm posting in the prayer thread. But for now I'm still in Iraq. Don't worry, I still have a good attitude.
