I know how you feel to have family still involved and clueless.... what to do? Everyone had great things to share. Read Matt 5. Love em like Jesus instructed. That is the only way they will ever hear you....if ever. How can we tell them about ''our'' Jesus, if we can't love them like he did? It's not our job to tell them what to do, or that they are wrong. Pray for them, and obey Jesus' commandment. If God is calling them to a greater relationship with Him, they'll hear Hid voice, and SEE your actions. peace ps. what band do you work with?

Please excuse any incorrect info, this is coming 3rd hand. Recent, but not sure of exact date. I tried my best at getting obit info online etc... but, for some reason couldn' t find any. (maybe you all are better than me). Or they kept in under wraps, dunno. :( John Tuttle of Lakewood, Colorado (Fell Coord)died recently while working for Ed Hobbs log home business. His wife is Stephanie Tuttle (Lisinski?) (way disc group III). They had two little girls and one adopted son (recent). He fell on a logging saw. Mark Wallace did the service. so sad. I thought I would share this here in case anyone knew him or has more info. I just hope they didn't make his wife feel bad for anything...... and those poor kids! She moved away though back to Minnesota? with her mom. She will need ooodles of support and love. I just pray that she gets it.

I needed a good laugh. I watched that months ago and showed Mr. Bliss....... we cracked up and then got on our knees in thanksgiving. Now, the woman on the right is Trudy Yates(Bayne). I am sorry to say that I taught her some ''break dancing'' moves years ago............. I can see she's still doing them. She probably wrote that song. As she does most of them. They are all awful. The rubber man in the middle is Frank Stutz. (child of the Corn) not sure about the other gal. If you are gonna dance like that, at least wear appropriate clothing people! Rosalie would never have it!

(((((((holy cow, Yanagisawa))))) That was beautiful. Your writing style that is. Should be in a book. Arrogant, we were. We thought nothing of flaunting ''our power'' around. Thanks for sharing that touching account.

AMEN, MarkC! Repentence was one of The KEY ingredients missing in the WAY. When we left, and heard a teaching on true repentence, I must have cried for days. NOT BECAUSE OF GUILT>>>>>>>> but because of CONVICTION! Being smug and not laying our sin before a HOLY GOD because ''we are righteuous now'' is a load of CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!! If someone transgresses against you, and they came over and said, ''I know you forgive me, lets go play pool''................ you might not feel the sense of true remorse for hurting you in this person. I would much rather hear '' I really am sorry, and I didn't mean it....... ". Same goes for God. How much more should we confess our sins with true remorse to a Sovereign God, then a mere man? Daily, we are to cast our sin at HIS Feet on our knees, and be sorry for what we have done. This makes for a relationship with Him, not an assumed position with Him.

My initial response Ham,was, ''you got to be kidding?" Then, looking at the pics, I got scared thinking people actually sign up for this. Guess where I found the site? On the CFF site. ( I was just curious to see if they were doing anything weird. I guess so.)

Eckhart Tolle-A New Earth-Awakening To Your Life's Purpose
bliss replied to happyheart's topic in About The Way
Anything ''advising'' me on what my life's purpose should be, turns me off completely. I won't be participating. Whenever the world gets on a bandwagon for something, it's usually entering the wide gate off the deep end. Even though I am a Christian, I do try to learn from anywhere and anyone..............(lessons learned through cult recovery) But, the moment it twists scripture to ''fit'' their own imagination, I throw out the baby and bathwater. Sound familiar? He shares parables through the lens of his agenda. I heard it's a nice piece of fiction though. Just because he talks about Jesus doesn't mean he believes in Him. He talks about Buddha too. If you are ''Christian'' please read it with a bible in hand and a discerning eye. -
Ahhhhhh, dimensions! cool stuff. Thanks T, Sunesis... Funny, I have some family members from other dimensions........

How is this to be done????? Why not answer the first question, which is HOW did God create matter, atoms, energy when he created the heavens and the earth? If you can answer that, then you could answer this ''rapture'' question. I mean, if we can't get this right, all else fails us. God isn't a magician with a formula. That is what we did and wanted in the Way. Everything had to "make sense'' to our human minds. Personally, I don't believe in a so called rapture (not the one you described), but I do believe we will all be changed.(put on immortality etc...) God is bigger than our human minds can comprehend. He exists beyond/outside our ''knowledge''. To me, what matters is that He will/can do this, not how does He do it. (*forgive me sounding like your WC leadership* yikes**) I have a friend who was in missions in an African villiage in the 60's . These people had NO CONCEPT of what ice was. NONE. He tried and tried to explain that where he was from people could skate on sheets of ice, eat ice and that is would snow from the sky. The Africans could not believe it. They had never seen it or experienced it. It was outside of their knowledge. Did ice exist? Of course. But to them, they just couldn't believe//comprehend it. A few years go by and my friend got a small refrigerator from town with one of those little ice compartments. Brought it to the villiage and showed them filling it up with water and then waiting a few hours for it to freeze. Those villagers thought he was a magic man for sure. I guess my point is really, that there are things we aren't going to ever know about God, unless He reveals them to us. It doesn't make things less real. They are just not real to us right now. Whatever/however He does this matter, energy change thing, it is going to be so awesome! So awesome that right now I don't think we could comprehend it. excuse the long ramble

hi sunny friend "I don't know the chapter or the verse.......... but you can't tell me that it all ends in a slow ride in a herse!" *(Brooks N Dunn) or (Clay Crosse)* Seriously, I don't think anyone can say with a hundred percent confindence that they know, until the day they die! so, having said that , I ask myself this question.... If our spirit goes back to God, then ''what is it doing with Him?" Does he put it in a box? Under His bed? Does he have a superspiritwillywonka storage machine? Does our spirit mush into his spirit and somehow become Him? What? We won't know now. The point is, we are with the Lord. Whether we have a body like now isn't important. If he takes our spirit in the ''end'' and raises our bodies incorruptible then, who cares? It doesn't have to make ''mathmatical sense'' to me. I stopped trying to reason with Dr . W strawman logic a while ago. God, is God. He can do whatever He wants, however he wants. He didn't even write down HALF of what He is or what He will do. So, I stopped trying to "know that I know, that I know'', and just try to except the unknown. I rest in the fact that He says I have ETERNAL LIFE. For me that starts yesterday.

For those that believe in prophesy
bliss replied to Dot Matrix's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
Just some FYI from www.spiritoferror.wordpress.com I am with you Rachel, I don't like their contradictory nature....nor their ''adding'' to the scriptures. “Apostle” Chuck Pierce has prophesied that, in 2001 — when the terrorists attacked America — the Church entered a “Seven-Year War Season.” Using a Hebraic calendar, Pierce believes we are now in the sixth year of this war season (Hebraic year 5767) — the “Year That Swords Will Clash.” This will be a year when the Church will engage in spiritual warfare and exercise its authority, according to Pierce. For more information, see his Oct. 25 prophecy sent out by the Elijah List. Other ‘War’ Years Here is what Pierce has prophesied about the other years of the “war season”: • Year 1 (starting Sept. 2001) was the “The Beginning of War — 7 Years of Breaking Old Cycles” • Year 2 (starting Sept. 2002) was a “Sabbath Day Rest Year” (a year for increasing our faith) • Year 3 (starting Sept. 2003) was “A Year of Secrets, Mysteries and Surprises” • Year 4 (starting Sept. 2004) was “A Year to Circle, Surround and Plunder the Enemies Camp” • Year 5 (starting Sept. 2005) was a “Year of Staking Your Claim for the Future” • Year 6 (starting Oct. 2006) is the “Year That Swords Will Clash” • Year 7 (yet to be announced by Pierce) Not Biblical The whole concept of a “seven-year war season” will sound odd to many Christians. Nowhere do we see Jesus or the original apostles teaching people that that the Church will continually go through different cycles. Yet — according to the apostolic-prophetic movement — the Church needs new “apostles” and “prophets” like Pierce to give supernatural insight into these cycles. Why? If the church knows the current cycles, then it can use the necessary strategies to defeat demonic forces and establish God’s kingdom on earth. Embraced by Prominent Leaders Pierce’s prophecy has been embraced by leaders in the apostolic-prophetic movement, who consider Pierce to be a very accurate prophet when it comes to revealing the times and seasons the Church is in. In fact, many of the movement’s leaders are actually scheduling their ministries around Pierce’s timetable. The Elijah List, for example, regularly features updates on the “war season,” and entire conferences have been held to teach Christians how to live during each year of the war season. See this conference held to prepare Christians for the fourth year, which featured speakers Cindy Jacobs, Dutch Sheets, John Eckhardt and Peter Wagner. ‘War Season’ Products Pierce has even sold products geared around the “war season,” including this $20-lapel pin, this $20-tent peg, and this $12 anointing oil, all designed to help Christians wage battle in the fifth year. This $20-necklace pendant represents the current year of the sword. He also has written a book about this war season titled The Future War of the Church (pictured here). In this book, he argues that it’s crucial for all Christians to submit themselves to modern apostles. Pierce’s “war season” is another example of how he, and other leaders in this movement, are causing Christians to turn their eyes away from the sure teachings of Scripture and, instead, pay attention to their vague, unbiblical and speculative prophecies. -

You Know You've Attained Dispensationalist Divine Status
bliss replied to bliss's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
Wow, that was a lot of info there Spectrum....Welcome to Greasespot! I started this thread so long ago, I had to refresh my memory. Let me just say, that there are some of us, who have since leaving the Way, continued to allow the Holy Spirit to teach us and appreciate the scriptures very much ... actually being better students of the bible then we ever were while IN> Having said that, they are some that want nothing to do with the bible or even God for that matter. That is their choice. No matter. Most of us believe that Weirwille built his research on sand, and plagerism. I do not believe a thing that ministry has said anymore, because it's foundations are entrenched with lies and deceit. What brings us together here, is the commonality of having The Way in our past (or present) and relating to eachother on that level. Don't be afraid to post or start a new thread on the topic you are passionate about. Debate is good. While in the Way, it was their way or the highway, right? So, enjoy the discussions, and disagreements ......(as long as they are not attacks). Nobody wants to be attacked for their beliefs, although it does happen. Try not to take it personally. We are all sinful creatures, and we all make mistakes. NO matter what side of the belief coin you're on. But, as soon as you tell others that YOU HAVE IT ALL FIGURED OUT, red flags go up! That is WAY SPEAK. Pharasee speak, Elitism speak...... So, present your case, but also be willing to have a teachable spirit and listen to the others point of view (or research)... You just might learn something. As well as we might learn from you. And by the way..................... I personally don't believe in ''dispensations'' anymore. Through lots of prayer and research. That doensn't mean I can't learn something from what you discovered. :) peace -
I was using my website builder for a group I maintain. Trying to upload monthly newsletter that I previously had NO TROUBLE with. It's been 2 months since I last uploaded anything. Went to ''link'' my newsletters to website as usual...but when I went back to check the links if they worked onced published, it was all crazy. so i checked my files (I had to save all Publisher docs to this PDF format for condensing reasons)....they didn't have the ''A" symbol anymore nor did they direct me to that doc at all! How could my personal files be changed without me knowing? They don't have the symbol they used to either. How can I change them back to ''A'' Adobe/Acro PDF again? please let me know if anyone can help me. Thanks! bliss

Things I Have Learned From the Bible
bliss replied to RachelYsrael's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
HI Rachel To get back to the Rapture, in that verse it says ''we shall MEET him in the air''. Meet is an interesting word. Lets look it up together and see what we find. (it will take me a few days though) One explaination is that it implies a ''greeting'', like when a king would visit a city, they would run out with all their best stuff (horses, chariots, etc) and welcome him.........so then, we come back DOWN to earth for the judgements. Not that we go to heaven for 1000 years..... I no longer believe in a ''rapture'' per say. I also believe that most of Matt 24 is talking about the destruction of the temple and Jeruselem in 70 AD. (something TWI never even mentioned happening.) Jesus' very words were ''this generation'' shall see this and that... (Isreal, who turned their back on Jesus the Christ) I do believe that He iscoming back and we greet him in the air, and we will forever be with the LORD. -
HI T! The "OCCASIONAL discovery," good choice of words for the reality of searching Him out. I was so sure I knew it ALL while in TWI. So sure. In fact, sometimes, I miss that asurity. The confindence that came with ''knowing'' everything....but, it also came with a lot of heartache. EGO and PRIDE are two of the biggest sins in my book. (and His really!) What I find intriging now, is that I don't have to know everything about HIM. I am confindent in GOD, and who He is to me, that won't change. What does keep me wondering and guessing is the fact that He is mysterious, and my human mind cannot even wrap itself around the sum of His Being. That is why debating heavily over the Trinity is a lost cause. In TWI we put God in a neat package so that our human understanding could ''figure Him out''. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA It cracks me up now because, well, He is the one that made our minds. We say he is NOT 3 persons..........cuz to our human minds that is sensible. But, that doesn't mean outside of our human understanding He doesn't exsist in a totally different way. I had an innie recently dig into my pshyche to find out the ''why'' of leaving TWI. And of course their only reason for staying is that they package the ''accuracy of the Word better than anyone''. Yup, nicely tight fiting package, just the way YOU LIKE IT!

Decision-making and the will of God
bliss replied to T-Bone's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
AMEN T! I call it ''considerate'' when I check with HIM first. I don't always remember this.........but when I do, things do seem a lot clearer and smoother. No more 'believing' to get what I want. I just make sure it's something that He would approve of and gives glory to Him. I just hate it when I am left to ''MY OWN" devices cuz I usually fall into the ditch. -
Hi! They were doing well as far as I know 2 years ago. They were out of TWI and in Colorado Springs, CO. They owned a health food store there called ''Back to Basics" ?????(If I recall) They were involved with CFF or CFS or one of them.
