Seems Mr. Bliss was taking the LONG way around...............so I sped it up for him (I know, how rude of me). Anyway, he spewed his drink and started to laugh, we all laughed. Then I said, ''well, not a coolaid drinking cult, but a bible worshipping, pharisee cult". He said, "we all have had one of those hanging on our wall at some point". I think for me, saying it casually, keeps it from being some sort of skeleton in my closet! It really is just a time I was looking for God, hung out there for a bit, and finally woke up and said "see ya!"

Yes you were banned, I know. I received all the aggravating emails between the Reg Coord and John B. in light of your "appearance" on Family Tables. You were talked about at length if I recall, mostly about how the devil works in situations like you "leaving the household" and the contamination you were spreading. Actually, when you started posting there, all hell broke loose and all website fun, haulted. So don't put all the blame on John for his treatment of you. He was just doing what he was told, and listening to all the lies about you and anyone that has left. ( I know you aren't all those terrible things that I read....... ..) We, hubby and I, were disgusted actually by the treatment he received. He was really defending your right to post....but got shot down. There are 2 sides to every story you know. Anyway, we all have Greasespot to post on, and, God does not leave people in the dust if they want answers. They will find a way out! You did. I did. That site is harmless. I thank God every day that I finally woke up. Oh and yes, David, great to hear that!!!!!! I have had the same experience.

I personally know and was involved in the start up of this thing and you all are assuming a little too much! It was really to go "against" current Way teachings and ''philosophy" that this came about. The heart was for the young people from the ministry to have a place to share and talk, since they were "always on the internet anyway!" Unfortunately, because of ALL THE FLACK John got for starting this thing, now it has become a bit rigid, and with many rules to follow. Believe me, this was not an easy endeavor for him to get this site running for many reasons. We all here know the Way is flawed, but if you were "still IN" this website is cutting edge, going against the grain sorta speak. The heart to which this is running is out of "dislike" and "frustration" and actually with the "lack" in the ministry. And he has a great heart, just in the wrong direction even after lots of abuse he's gotten. He was trying to take the bull by the horns and give the younger folks a place to go. Once the ministry got involved (at least locally), it was a nightmare. But, they think the ministry is cool, so let them have there own little world.

I can relate to you Nolonger and when I see this elitist mindset (yes, initiated in TWI), I quickly get into servant mode. (I should be all the time, but, I am a sinner ya know?) So anyway, I try to see them as Jesus or God would see them. I become, well, more interested in them and less about me. ( I don't think less of me, I just think of me less..) I recently learned that God does the "renewing" of our minds anyway. NOT ME. But I have to seek His wisdom in those situations, and He always comes through. What is my job now anyway? Is it to sit on the log? Or is it to give and bless and preach Christ? I kick myself sometimes because I realize that I AM NOT BETTER THAN ANYONE ElSE! We all come from different backgrounds, and experiences. What if the person I am sitting next to is crying for help, and God wants to work in me to help? I ask myself these questions all the time, and it has changed my life! God will help you get through this. His desire is for you to be His mouthpiece. If you got energized and enjoyed the fellowship at that church, then, don't give the devil and TWI the pleasure of not going! Keep doing what God called you to be. "Build up treasures in heaven" too. Sorry Pirate, but you had to watch the whole season to "get it". Unfortunately for Taylor, last night was about "what Idol wanted". He had to sing a lot of cruddy songs, that were not his style or pick. I don't think it did his talent any justice. He is very entertaining and real, is in a band and has unconventional style. on another note.............................. Toni Braxton was A W L F U L !!!!!! Was she singing? Or just saying "whoooo"? Most of the stars were bad ...................what a disappointment.

Hi MD Vaden, Was your "insider" at HQ, or a fellowship coordinator? Because just last year, 2005, I know first hand that you had to rehearse your teaching in FRONT of the BOD, and it HAS TO BE APPROVED. They are not to stray too far from the "assigned topic". They were also very BORING. I've only been out a year, so I still keep in contact with many still in, most high rankers... Now, if its in a fellowship setting, then, yes, they could be given carte blanche depending on the coordinator.

Funny, I use to like this song because it got people moving and happy! But, I got reproved once from my BC because I lead this and it wasn't "HQ standard song"! "If HQ doesn't do it, we won't". I then replied, "well, HQ does Childrens Fellowship EVERY SUNDAY, and we don't, so maybe we should keep up". So, I ended up doing CF for many a sunday's after that! I was annoyed, but the kids were sure blessed. What a sucker I was.........
