  1. Dot--I think there is much to what you just said Miss vick--I was kind of ashamed of the corps when I got to know you back in WA and saw how phocked up it was that they threw you out and told you you were dirt, essentially. So glad to have run into you and see how far away from it you are and how perceptive you are... I loved some of the stuff you posted when you first got here on vic's narcissistic problem... excie, I will see it this weekend and let you know how hard I laughed... :D--> edited four somm reely bad speeling airrers [This message was edited by alfakat on December 31, 2003 at 21:23.]
  2. I think not, miss vickles---seems I remember the same chicken-.... accusation being thrown at you as at Dot....
  3. I concur, Dot--she was not responseable for actions perpetrated on her but she did NOT need to embrace the dark side of the force--which she most obviously did....
  4. excie--you do understand I was klueless as to where the quote "gaylord fockkers" originated?? right???
  5. yes, Dot--I know who it was and she always seemed like someone that was running a houselamp on a 220 volt breaker--she, among many(not all) 4th corps women, never seemed quite right to me. I never would have fathomed pimping for vp but I learned many years later, independant of here or Waydale, that it was true. Somehow, it fit with why I always was leery of her, and others, as well. but on top of all that comes the lying, covering up and slander of the innocents...if it was all so right and cool in the eyes of God; why all the evil collateral damage along the way???? Sounds like end justifies the means, situational ethics BULL-.... to me--exactly what we stood against in the good ole Way inter-NASH, doncha know??? Dot, excie, Sunesis, others---screw all the gaylord fockkers, as excie says/said...don't know where it comes from but I definitely copy the sentiment!! The blind may well remain blind but some have, and will continue to, see the light of day on the sin and destruction wrought by the twisted, inner-circle "jerks" who claimed God and His blessing on all their evil. may He reward them even as Alexander the copersmith in Timothy. And He will not forget those who rebuked the evil, no matter if the sound doctrine was heeded or no.....
  6. Reading this all again makes my heart ache, again, at the more than immoral, maybe amoral behavior of those who sat upon thrones and proclaimed themselves "leaders and servants" in Christ's stead...I keep thinking of the verse where Lord Jesus says that it would be better that a millstone be hung around the necks of these and they be drowned in the sea than to have offended these little ones...I am so sorry that I saw so little and did less to help these who were in such need. I so long for the day when this all will be put to rights and put to rest...that it was all done in God's name and somehow justified as liberty in Christ...much worse than the drunk's vomit. I knew Marsha of the 6th corps pretty well--I was so dense and could not see why she was so turned up-side down our last year in res. My heart goes out to all of you who live with this...

  8. This is what I said on Mike's thread and I am sorry to say it bears repeating, once again, here.... ..."so all you folks that say, oh, sin is sin... raped any one lately ??? how about your daughter??? want her molested at age 14,15,16, 17 by a Christian minister, maybe the Man Of God for the 20th century?? is that all cool under the "sin is sin, he taught ME the WORD!!!!!" slavish devotion of some apparently still-cannot-see-the-signal-for-all-the-noise types out there.... sure a g-d lot of smoke and opinion and very little concern for God's opinion of those who do such things knowingly... give up your idols, folks...." I guess I am getting old-- I AM repeating myself... --> :(-->
  9. lil ole me--can you disagree with the word of geer?? publicly?? guess it kind of depends on what one defines legalism and move the word to be....
  10. so all you folks that say, oh, sin is sin... raped any one lately ??? how about your daughter??? want her molested at age 14,15,16, 17 by a Christian minister, maybe the Man Of God for the 20th century?? is that all cool under the "sin is sin, he taught ME the WORD!!!!!" slavish devotion of some apparently still-cannot-see-the-signal-for-all-the-noise types out there.... sure a g-d lot of smoke and opinion and very little concern for God's opinion of those who do such things knowingly... give up your idols, folks.... 11. Galen--you will have had to follow all Mike's threads since his beginning here to really see how much Tom has nailed it--I really don't think you have seen all the double-talk, dodge, distract, deny and general baffling with bull-stuff Mike has done...I can't say i remember much of your input on any of his long-winded "preachings"....
  12. Mike, well, man, knock your socks off--tho' your initial post sounded a bit like Al Franken's old SNL bit about "what the 80's will mean to me, Al Franken". Ya know, just a wee bit self-important.... If you want to start doctrinal treatises, please use the "Doctrinal" section, huh???? And I second Tom--how about some real give-and-take discussion, not vp's prophet preaching to the 2nd grade... Topics??? how about an honest consideration of the canon???? And LISTEN besides talking... :D--> --> :P-->
  13. well, steve!, you are part right--it is the child of Mosaic, with Godzilla, the movie star as "god-parent", so to spaek.....
  14. well, GT--maybe I could package deal 'em to offshoots in need...or mark 'em up to retail and see if the bod/bot is interested in some ole ex-wafer retreads at a good deal.....
  15. yeah, yeah, George--we all know you've got the skeptic curmudgeon bit down pat... --> but maybe it isn't as exoteric as you seem to think. You did last with it for a while; perhaps there is more to it than your analysis would deduce...reality might be beyond both your and my ability to adequately define. When you have definitive answers, George, maybe you will know from good stories....
  16. hey, excie, i got a dime around here somewhere--u gotta doz revs fer me?????
  17. yes, ROA 73 was what me 'members--and eye color and sensitivty to light along w/ the ability to actually have full sight
  18. I believe the challenge is to separate the gold from the dross--God has moved in all of our lives...yes, even you, George. But we came to associate it with the way, thanks to krap like Vic telling us we owed the ministry our lives and other such ........ I personally have witnessed a few things and know of others who witnessed much more. There is/was a girl in the 7th corps who was healed--she was a pink-eyed albino and her eyes were changed. Does anyone remember that?? edited to add letters i and h--from earlier board glitch... 19. All right, out with it, Evan--- it was "no perception Paul" and "pablum Pyle", ifn' I 'members correctly.... all this, in a Biblical research and teaching ministry, the likes of which have not been seen since the uno Ce-antch-errryyy!!!!!!!! sheeesh --> --> --> :D--> [This message was edited by alfakat on December 20, 2003 at 0:06.] [This message was edited by alfakat on December 20, 2003 at 0:07.]
  20. I have told this one before but it's a pretty good one, so here goes: I am in my first year in rez in the whey kork(6ckkpthh kork) and I am late for lunch one day, so I get no lunch. So I go sit at the last table, where one of my buds, A. Keller, is eating. The table is not full, there are only 2 other people besides me, A. and someone else. On every table at lunch that day was a relish tray with celery and carrot sticks. My friend says "Have some carrots and celery, anyways..." So I help myself and am munching on a carrot stick when one of the neo-Nazi dining room hostesses comes over and says "Put that down,____--You can't eat that, it's the WORD!!!! It's the WORD, ____!!!!!" My buddy A.K. looks right at her and says "No, it's not, M__ B__, it's a carrot..." I almost die laughin' as she stomped off in a huff....
  21. Rick--it works just fine on XP--I installed it on my sister's box with XP a month ago. [This message was edited by alfakat on November 28, 2003 at 16:56.]
  22. Mozilla ROCKS !!!! i have used it for years--since 2000, I think... it has gotten better and better. Opera is great, too...has some stuff no one else does...free, too. :D-->
  23. Kit and all: I see what Oswald is saying but my Bible, which I hold in higher esteem than Oswald, or any other, says quite plainly " For GOD so LOVED the world that HE GAVE....." and you know the rest. I will simply not downgrade God, Who IS LOVE, to promote what I may think is a problem in Christianity or among Christians. What brought Jesus to the cross--his hatred for sin or his love for God?? which is stronger, hatred of sin or love for/of GOD? Who authored sin; who authored love?? Who is stronger, who will prevail??
  24. yes, I resisted the idea myself for a long time...but I have been "forced" to admit, after all that has been brought to light, that vp was not what he painted himself to be at all. He may have truly helped some but he apparently used far more. He was not driven by the will of God but by his own will and desires, ie, lusts...sad to say, he hurt many more deeply than he ever knew, I am sure of that....
