I am not sorry; I am going to repeat this fricking question til it sinks in : how many of you men, late 40s, early 50s as you/we are now, have participated in even ONE incident like this??? Are you a man or some tail-chasing teen-ager?? I want to know if you think that even IF it was the case of some hot little hippie chick from 30 year ago or more--are you NOW, as a mature adult, going to "give in" cuz "she was askin for it"??? I see NO, as in NONE, excuse for this behavior. NOW, you can add in Christian minister, MOGFOT and all the rest. Shhheeeesh, so it's excuseable to succumb to every temptation that sits on our laps??? WHAT in the H is the christian experience worth then, if sinning at the invitation of some messed up teenager is our day-to-day habit pattern?? What in the F***** kind of theological junk and logic is THAT??????? added ps--"I got taught THE WORD, so it's all GOOD!!"--what unmitigated rubbish!! "Shall we sin, That GRACE may ABOUND??? GOD FORBID!!! ---oh, and keeeeeeddsss, I did not write the book....no PI, and all that ........ [This message was edited by alfakat on January 08, 2004 at 13:13.]

cynic--apologies, i was confusing you with another Calvinist who was on Waydale and the old gsc, DataRat. None the less, the MOG is the one who is representing GOD here, not some young thing who very well may be coming on to him or someone completely hood-winked by him. Who supposedly has the experience in living Christ-like?? Of course sin is sin and both participated--DUHHH!! a 5 year old knows THAT...we are talking about LEADING and being LED--what is SO hard to wrap one 's mind around about that??????????????????????????????????
-
wow, now he's Alfa-Tom...we better hook you up with an old GTV, bro...you'll love it, 4-cylinder Ferrari for MISTER AlfaTom, oh yeah...
-
Cynic: I believe you were never an eye-witness to twi madness, so you are a mere speculator, correct?? so while om's point is interesting in a lab, it has little value in what happened in real life, eh???
-
would that be re: teenagers in question, ts???
-
DISCLAIMER: I hope to h you all reading my last post understand what I wrote about hot little teenage girls was an extreme example to make a point--you do see that, I trust.... ps car gassed and ready, bro...

ok, om, so the hot little 15, 16, 19, 21, 23 year old THROWS herself at THE MAN OF GOD FOR OUR DAY AND TIME....and he does what?????? Is HE some kind of FREAKING neophyte that he drops trow cuz some starry-eyed kid has a fantasy about herself and a man 2 and a half times her age??!!?? say what??? get the F real, fer kraps sake!!! What kind of GROWN-UP man is that kind of spineless *****???? if so, NO BUSINESS IN THE OVERSEE-ER'S FUNCTION, NEH??? cmon---sheeeeshhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
om---why is THAT the big sticking point for you???do you have any idea what the logic is behind statuatory rape law, for instance?? we KNOW there is a responsibility on the part of the 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 year old woman----BUT what is the greater responsibility and the "greater" sin?? answer that, om--it's really the ONLY question that truly matters... by the by, have any daughters yourself, om?....I thought not....

johnny --early2it has a history of somewhat trollish behavior and he loves the sound of his own voice a tad too much. But ex10's point is well taken---who gives a rat's rear end what he thinks or what I think, for that matter...you sort it out the best you know how, hang on to the knowledge of JC the Lord and be open and flexible to learn on all the rest...I have changed my opinion on ole vic and twi radically in the past 5-6 years, and yes, I went through the process most did 86-89 and thought cg's poop paper said it all--for a while. Now I know what it did NOT say and I know that God gets the credit for the good but God wasn't scopin babes and scoopin cash, as fer as I know....YMMV

yeah, somehow I don't see the fruit of vp confessing to cg in the poop paper--I see EVERYONE betraying poor ole vic and ALL of us bein at fault...that is how it came down and that was how cg ended up bein the "prophet from God" that many believed him to be....I remember that we ALL had forsaken the Word...cept vp, he kept the faith---u oughta read poop again johnny lingo--you might be surprised what it says today, 18 years down the road and all the smoke settled....YMMV

alfakat replied to Oakspear's topic in About The Way
ok--nothing extremely personal... time frame here is 1981, 82... "--da 3 stooges-- .... Vickles--we all 3 knew things were going south in da way around those times...you were just further proof. We were rebelling against it with our crazyness and refusal to toe the "company line". I know we may have seemed a bit wacky and maybe rubbed people wrong at times but we were desperately, I now believe, trying to keep it real. And I remember talking with you after you had been back over a year and I felt like you kind of saw what our insanity was all about... in any case, it had it's moments of greatness cuz we just didn't care--if only we had built on that a bit more, maybe we would have had the balls to really shake it up!! --- not that it would have made a difference; it was rotten in the roots and NO amount of pruning or fertilizer could change that. I thank God for what I did get out of it and leave the rest in the dumpster where it belongs. I also thank God that you have left all that .... behind you, as well. love, alfakat...." -
