Don't mean to contradict THE THE prophet, but I sincerely doubt the 2 elder daughters or families were "standing" with twit in the 89/90/91 time frame. The Sommervilles, in particular, had to practically be dragged kicking and screaming to Living Vic in '82; they had been on the outs with the old man for years at that point... I really can't see the Martins lending their support to cretin loy; maybe to Mrs. W but not big forehead's version of twit...

Thus spake OM-a-thusra...: " -
thus spake OM-a-thusra: "" quote:"What is it that made us (wayfers) think that PFAL was the ONLY TRUTH (as in Jesus Christ) IN EXISTENCE IN THE WORLD?" Nothing from twi. If anyone thought that, they weren't using their head ... VPW said in his PFAL books that he learned from men of God, scattered across the continent. Obviously, truth exists outside of twi, that's where twi got it from."" NOTHING from twit, OM???? cmon, you have certainly got to have one of the most selective memories I have ever seen... THE GawdAmighty TRUTH, not known since da foist CENT-cha-reeee!!! What log were u sleepn' under during your stay in twit-ville??? You are ignoring the CONSTANT bleeeting over the years about the superiority of twit's VAST Knowledge of da Verd!!! cmon, man---you never saw that ...., really????

TheEvan has testified to wads of cash for herr Week-toor and others with no accountability and apparently no records of said "transaction"... a prettier formula for abuse I cannot conceive of.. Your ABS Dollars At Work, keeeeeeddsss!!! -
OM -- your reaction to Rand's quote proves you don't get it.... I think maybe you need to read a little more on the subject. You may not understand freedom as you think she is expounding it...

Let us not forget that vic was famous for saying different things to different groups... I was in WA state at the time and R Feese, the limb and region guy, went back for the "placement" meetings in Feb. '81. When he got back, he did a kork meeting and gave us a a fairly detailed report on what came down. He said that vic told them his thoughts but gave the supposed "final" decision to the region, campus and prez cab guys(what, 24,25 people at most?) and said to them "He will be your prez, you decide--" So they tossed it around and the consensus was eventually that lcm was the best guy to be the "public face" kida guy the prez needed to be or somesuch reason... Personally, at various times vic was real high on J Townsend and Del Duncan to be the prez and I know Walter was always there as the backup plan. I just think vic finally decided most of these guys, kork grads for the most part, would not follow Walter like they would one of their own... Oh, and finally, after these guys voted and all, vic gives 'em the "are you gonna tear this thing apart after I die or are you gonna follow "Joshua" craggggg into the next phase" or whatever he called it... Feese said that really buzzkilled the party.... :D--> --> :P--> -->

Dot -- glad to read your post. I was on a self-imposed hiatus when this all came down and am sorry I was not here to speak up for you. I am not particularly surprised at what happened with the other ex-cult folks; in fact, I could have predicted the trouble. For all the surface "commonalities", they were involved in a very different experience. I know ex-jws and theirs was a much longer intrenched doctrine of bondage. No surprise they are much more full of venom... Say hi to sis, I owe her an email. love to you and yours, alfakat

Shellon...nope, don't think so. Tonto: I think Donnie and Kevin are in Oregon...if you are talking about the Smiths of NoCal who have Mary as a sister.

get over it, Galen---- you knew a few people and had some small contact with other dozens and you cannot seem to discriminate between that fact and the idea that there were thousands in the corps and that the majority(over 50%) were not that way... this would be before 85, 86...I have NO idea how f-ed up they became after that but reports would indicate that they, in general, followed lcm down the primrose path to hades. Why did you stay involved, Galen?? If the kork represented the "heart" of the ministry and you despised them so, why did you stay so long?? hmmmm.....

"But I thought God is sovereign? How can HE, God, allow Himself to be used as bait by little ol VP? You say God worked "in spite of" VP, whatever that means. God wasn't working "with" VP?" said OM. Of course, God "allows" it, om--what in sam hell makes you think he would NOT???? Apparently, God allows all kinds of intolerable s-h*t to happen at this time or had you not noticed?? There is a day when NONE of that s-h*t will be allowed...but not yet... so of course people use God to their own selfish ends, ala vicster and his willingness to fleece his own "flock". what the h--you are the best friend of hucksters like vic; they love you most of all... -

sirguess you make many valid, good, honest points. I do not see liar being some poor, pathetic, picked-over schmoe, however. He obviously had much contact with twi going back quite a ways. He seems lucid and quite well able to express himself as a vicster apologist. His take is well thought through and does not seem something he came up with yesterday. I think he is capable and willing to make decisions and follow through by posting here. Sorry if I cannot sympathize with him; he elicits no sympathy nor offers any, either. You are making him something he is not to bolster your case. What you said stands on it's own merits without painting liar as any less than what he is --- an obvious idolizer of vic and all things "wayish"..... -
