Whopping 5 Students Graduate from WC Training This Year
alfakat replied to Belle's topic in About The Way
no, I fear socks is misunderstanding... there was a "kork" before the 1rst kork, was dismissed after 7,8,9 months -- something like that, because vic called Del Duncan sometime in the spring of 1970 about he and Nancy being the coordinators of vics "do-over" and Del said, "well, things are goin' good here, gee, I don't think so, thanks for asking though...". So vic curtly hangs up and Del gets this idea he blew it so he calls vic back and says he accepts. Vic rips him up one side and down the other and says God only opens a door once like that, blah, blah, blah. So Del says, well I believe the door is still open if you won't shut it, vp. And vic tirades him some more and finally says well, you come in June and I'll ride your a$$ all summer long and if you can't hack it, adios! If ya stay, maybe we do the kork -- and the rest is history. There was only one zero kork, fall of 69 through spring of 70. Then numero uno, fall 70 and graduate summer 72. I have this idea Ken Klug was in da zero kork, any old-timers remember???? -

Oakspear -- hate to be a pedantic stickler but Linda Coulter(married to Joe(3), lcm's old twig leader from KU and LawrenceKS daze) is 2nd kork and I believe at the time of the 6kkxxxthphtt korks "20th year" in 98, Ian(Doug) Murphy was still with twi. Hope R. may remember better since she was still an innie(with one foot out da door). was Pat Lynn really zero kork??? Radar, do you remember when she and John got married?? For some reason I did not remember she was zero kork... -
no argument there, excy my friend...

If you read the complaint and you have listened to the guy 3 or 4 times, what he is alleged to have said and the manner of his address and so forth ring very true. I find him to be a pompous, self-infatuated wind-bag know-it-all... and her allegations are spot on with his attitude and personality. Interesting that he is counter-suing for extortion ... but he does not seem to be screaming up and down she is a liar... at least, as far as I have heard, might be wrong on that. I rather detest him, true or no but I would not be surprised if they were. Read all 22 pages and see if it does not sound like the guy does on tv; vain, full of himself and so paternally condescending... sound like any old moggies to you?????? ps all he needs now is a beat-up motorcoach and a toady, scum-bag driver or two.... :D-->

mizzz alfakat and I saw them in Stockton at the old Fox theater a couple summers ago. Great show and the crowd was a hoot, too -- great mix of young and old, parents with teenage and older kids. The show was too short, of course but well, well worth it... them is Moody Blues, that is...

Here is the link to the FOX news producers complaint -- sound familiar, ex-wayfers??? "Bill likes the sound of his own voice a wee bit too much" dept.

there are far worse things one might do in this life than your take on "you guys" suggestion, j-am... far worse. If, in the final analysis, some here are harsh in their "present", temporal judgement, I guess that is just the way it goes... far superior to unbridled, unrepentant, hard-hearted, hard-core, not as seen among supposed "infidels", SIN--, which is to say, REJECTION of the very GOD they claim so loudly and proudly to serve, morning, noon, night and day... or perhaps you have forgotten vics thunderings from the pulpit??? hypocrisy is a very hard thing to swallow from those claiming to teach you their unique, hidden since the foist century style enlightenment..., for a minimum level of donation, to boot...

kind of fitting, though,UH, isn't it?

How big of a splash did you make when you left twi?

now, now, bowtwi, do not go confusing mistah oldies like that... . . . you know, stuff like the facts and such... cuz it was all jess so wonnnerfull for oldies and you are gonna spoil his memories of the ..."way he were..." . am I wrong, OM???? I know, I know, we all got "born-again" and it never, never, never, never, never, never...... . . . never, never, NEVER coulda happened without ole vic and piffle. -
no predictions, no prophecy needed... WW just has your standard MO down, OM...
-
maybe one of the kids might give you a well-placed, well-earned dope slap , om?? one can dream, or perhaps, hope, can't one??

reminds me of the German kid in the PFAL 77 film..."I wasn't interested in za people or anyzing; I just wanted za knowledge..." Charity edifieth, sonny, not callin folks pussys and such. If you will tell anyone to their face, DO IT!! --- don't tell us about, we could care less...

If Rosie & Donna... VP's judgment was how good?
alfakat replied to JustThinking's topic in About The Way
I heartily second what you say, LinZee...OM, apparently, again, you just do not KNOW enough of what was up at the time. Vic could count on big forehead to toe the company line, not ask difficult questions, sit up, beg, roll over and any other trick tick could do... -
I am aware of the "public" points of disagreement -- and I am aware of the more serious, not so public ones as well... just happened to have known some who were at North Fork for years.
-
jsam...........you sound like a bit of a know-it-all punk yoseff..... can't stand the heat, get outta the kitchen, sonny
-
did she?? She certainly edited a number of vic's books. I really think that was about as involved as they were over the years, except for vic's little rant about da whole family united behind vic. They were simply NOT a presence in wayworld affairs...

Cherish -- I do not know that much, but I do know how J S--meville went from being one of Vic's fair-haired boys to being in Tick's dog-house rather rapidly in the mid-70s. Of course, at the time I knew nothing beyond that. Now, with hind-sight and knowledge others have filled in and things I found out from those close to the S--villes, I would say, at least for J and M Wier. S--ville, they had to know what was up. I wish I could go into great detail but certain people who have never come out of the woodwork told me in confidence and there it will remain. I will state that both of the elder daughters were very bright and not types given to much naivete... Stuff happened at Emporia in my first year in rez wid da 6kcktppthhh kork and J S was well aware of it, having been there for a month on faculty teaching OT History. Remember, the Emperor thought his lock-box style new clothes were wonderful but eventually it was noted they were NO clothes at all.... ps I worked in Transportation whenever I was at HQ for bore week, raca and other big events. I did many airport runs, especially for muckety-mucks, vips and the like, including family members. Guess who got an earful from Dayton to Wirewillie road coming in for Living Vic in 82....uhh-huhh!

Not a lot wrong with the ideas themselves BUT gawdamightee were they twisted for self-serving ends. Yes, we were bought with a price but TWIT was NOT the one who paid it...DOH! If I sacrifice myself, I do the choosing of the where, what, when, and to whom. Else it is NOT self-sacrifice, it is bondage and slavery. Thought we were Christ's freemen and we determined our bondsmanship to HIM, not some man-made org. Now, we may choose to put our service to work IN some man-made org. but not to the end that we no longer have any say. In that case, time to find a worthier place to put our service in use... as so many have found, through much travail, sad to say...

after adding it all up, over 30 times front to back, all 12 nights and at least 10 more partials of 4,5,6,7,8 outa 12. Probably ran 8 or 9 of em, must have run the A/V on over half the 30 and been the assist. on more'n half of 'em. What a monumental waste of time and effort. JAL ran his own class; THAT is what should have been done for ALL. Would the "drop-out rate" have been any worse?? I doubt it...

's ok, OM can't hear U, he's got carrots in his ears.... THANK GOD, twit CANNOT take credit for the good people that were involved but were ignored. too bad for that.... -
yes, Jardi -- a full boat, all the kids photo, I believe you are right. I remember getting together with some fellow 6kcktpphhtt kork yahoos afterwards and wondering where the hell all this stuff came from and was it real and did the "stewardess" have a screw loose or two and other not-ready-for-main stage type questions... excy, the more I look back and the older I get, there WAS more than a fair share of delusional thinking going on and I freely admit, I bought into far too much of it. Though all that stuff about his family and grandson was far-fetched, even then... maybe I recovered my sanity a bit more easily because I was just a wee bit of a mocking cynic...MMUUWWWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA** for you, excy.... :D--> :P--> ;)-->

In that case simon, this Giant fan will join you on page 13...walkin the bases loaded in the ninth after being handed an 8 inning, 3-0 lead by a masterful Brett Tomko performance...bout as bad as your Cubbies loss to Cinci, a loser team if i ever saw one...

phone calls, schmone calls --- the bot had been opening the "lines of communication" for 3+ years at that point. The Evan was on staff at the beginning of the fiasco; ask him how well questions were received and handled. If it was SO freakin great, OM ---- how come it did not work out jimm dandy?? cuz it was bs, OM, allofit!!!! Geer, loy, blow hard howw-erdd and Don-boy. I will grant you, DEW was the most approachable and the least of the problem children but all in all, it was smoke, OM------ NOTHING CHANGED... case closed. -
yes, ex, his vicness-ness had had a family xmas at gunnysack with all the family and guilted them about standing with THE WAY come h or high water. That ding-dong "stewardess" on the plane wrote it all down and we had to put up with it all at the next bore-ing weak.... it featured, among other bits of flotsam and jetsom, the idea that, IIRC, Luke?? Sommerville would be the prez someday -- IF,IF,IF the Whole Vierville clan stayed faithful til then, or some other such swill... and don't quote me chapper and wurst, get somebody else to back it up.... :D--> :P--> edited for smileys...
