Hey I have a similar problem, it seems I have a mshelper.dll which points me to porn sites Of all things, the nerve of those people... I think I got it when I clicked on a pop-up instead of using control alt delete to get rid of it. If I open in safe mode and then run Norton 2003 will that remove it or do I need to go in and manually remove it from the registry itself? I can *tell* it's watching my surfing activity and those redirects drive me nutz!

Hey! Who would swing by and see where the *cool* camping spots are? One thing old partiers that never got busted did (or so I've heard) was to keep things low key and apart from the normal flow of things. We, umm I mean they, found some unique places inaccessable to all but the slightly deranged and testosterone driven male ego, HELL YES we can get down that cliff SNORT thats nuttin!!! Folllowed by 2 hrs of struggling to get said adventurer back up the cliff But the look on his face was memorable What a surprise any of us (I mean them) survived. Anyways be nice to have an idea of where to meet up and who might get there early enuf to secure some spots, if 2 or 3 folks with kids showed up that'd be enuf to scare off all but the most adventurous and desperate camper. If Cathy'd bring her horsiedog (are there riding trails there?) we might get the section to ourselves.

Daryl thank you for your candid (and restrained) response to those folk who prefer a closed minded approach to life, you were kind to do so. Dartie ol gal... I do believe I have something better to offer Daryl and others sinners such as ourselves and that is to simply love God with our whole being and our neighbors as ourselves. Not a difficult concept to grasp but sometimes a difficult one to put into practice when one has recently exited a cult that reveled in do as I say and not as I do actions. I wish you good speed on your journey and much healing along the way...

Lightside I had a similar experience with wasps hornets etc as I used to do alot of pressure washing and would sometimes disturb a nest without knowing it. When I first moved to my house here the woods were trashed, literally. So one day I started picking up trash and sorta got into it, forgettign where I was n all. So finally when I looked up there were hundreds if not thousands of yellow jackets flying all around me. I thought to myself hmmm this is weird I wonder how long these guys have been here (I also thought that this would NOT be a good time to panic). So I did what any good person would do, I kept on picking up trash. Every now n then I'd mess around with them by poking at them or saying BOOO realy loud to see their reaction and for the most part they were just as curious about me as I was of them. The funny thing of this was that the day before I had wondered if animals were as afraid of them as humans seemed to be and shortly thereafter I saw a few of them fly around my dog n cat and saw that they paid them no heed. that got me to thinking about fear and how potent it can be in eliciting a negative response from critters that sting (or bite) and I guess it was a sign from God or sumthing cuz the timing of it was so, ummm well timely?

Galen, While I don't precisely raise bee's I did have a hive in a wall of my house up until this winter. They survived being sprayed by the roofers who early last summer(after my assurance they weren't going to bother them) waited till I left and sprayed... grrrr Now they are gone and I am saddened... Once I get resettled in a place of my own I plan on adding bees to my garden, hope your new brood works well for ya.

I had a ferret once, cute thing that'd come out and play at all hours of the day (or night). She'd entertain twigies with her antics and gentleness. Sometimes when she'd sense a bad mood in the room she'd crawl under the sofa and peek out inquisitively, that seemed to take the edge off the moment and allowed us to happily continue on our discourse on the more than abundant life (or lack thereof).

MCarroll, I cultivated many aquaintences throughout my years with twi. The main reason was because I had interests outside of twig however very few of them could be called true friends. I have found that it takes time and mutual interests to develop friendships and as someone involved witha cult, just finding something other than the bible to talk about can be quit challenging. I would suggest not focusing so much on finding friends as finding yourself, who are you? What are your interests? Do you skydive? Do you press flowers? :)--> Do you like to snipe hunt? --> I'm involved with sunday school and the sustainable farming/rural preservation stuff out here and have found some folks with common interests from which to find new friends. Acceptance of who a person is, understanding that they are as an incomplete imperfect human as I am helps me overlook their glaring faults and gives me the right amount of humilty to be accepting and not judgmental. I was still around (the first go round) during the pop/loyalty letter stage but all I can remember was a lot of confusion, my tc, wayne tried to keep everything under wraps and even suggested that if we worked together we could *rise in the ranks* to a most elevated leaderdang position if we *played our cards right* (his words...and boy did that ever put a SERIOUS smudge on his integrity in my eyes). His next door neighbor (and landlord) was a staunch supporter of Geer and would show up unexpectedly and launch into an almost hysterical tirade on the evils of twi and how God told ol vic to write this letter to geer and that craig had better do this or something bad was going to happen etc..., frankly I thought everyone involved was nuts and began to seriously consider leaving which I did shortly. Only to return a few years later after being well assured twi had changed... Yeah it changed alright...

One thing is sure, they love running classes. We had the pleasure of having two trunk leaders and the head of international outreach as our RC, our LC and sometimes our BC as well (I think a few had the misfortune as having them as their TC's as well, but they can tell that story should they chose). I saw (and still do) a direct correlation between these *leaders* assholiness and the amount of time spent at hq. It seems the more one had been holed up in lalaland the less interested in reality they became and the more preposterous their doctines became. I'm beginning to wonder if someone isn't spiking the water there... In anycase poop runs downhill and now it's all settled at the bottom where rosie n crew are standing and they don't have a clue,

Geo that new train sounds like a wonderful idea, imagine flying across the country at 350 mph (my math is a bit rusty...). In California there was a rail line serving the San Jose to SF commute as well as feeder buses run by various countys. Gawd knows just how bad traffic would be there if this wasn't in place (I remember when most of the east bay was mud flats...). Europe has a similar system in place but are using more modern means of achieving the same goals (smart arse french...). Anyways yes I've traveled the rails before and absolutely loved it, there is nothign like setting back in your semiprivate room and watching the Irish countryside pass you by or settling down in the diner while passing antelope somewhere out west...

JF thanks! I think one of the B sites or a walk-in section would be *best* since there would be more room between *us* and *them*. Neither area can be reserved so a couple of us could get their early n commandeer one of those camping spots (yes it is a bit too early to be thinking of that but I might go up early myself n do a bit of fishing or sumthing). Food wise, Cathy has done a great job coordinating everything and Shell, Sudo n Hawk provided alot of help (not to mention all the other helping hands). I'd like those who are DEFINETLY coming and bringing food to email me at herbiejuan@hotmail.com with what you are bringing and what else you think might need to be brought. We could stand to have a HUGE coffeepot (60 cups?) and I think breakfast might be more fun if we did it at a cabin at least once as it'd give the campers a chance to wash up in the morning without having to worry about getting breakfast on the table as well.
