Bump :D--> -
My guess is what you want is a Dremel tool. It can be used to make sculptures, models, etc. Figure on betweeen 40 to 100 dollars, depending on how fancy you want to get.

Hey Rick, when you get a chance, can you walk me through (yet again) on uploading to your site? I'd like to share some of my favorites. -

I gotta go with George on this one. Perhaps not quite as far, but, nonetheless. He may be a good songwriter, even a good guitar player, but the thing that puts the monkey wrench in the works is his voice. Worse than fingernails on a chalkboard. And I'll even admit to some fuzzy logic here. While I don't particularly care for Neil Young (and for that matter, Bob Dylan), I like Harry Chapin. There are times when I think Jackson Browne doesn't really have a great voice either (Sorry, Radar :D-->) -

I'm confused, having been an EMT. Isn't an ambulance an EMT vehicle? -

Have a good trip Sudo and Andy. I'll see if I can get with Rick somehow and post some of my favorites. But since I have some rather eclectic tastes in music, I don't know if it will really qualify as "Nostalgia". -

Speaking of blues, my FAVORITE blues album of all time is "Nighthawks At The Diner" by Tom Waits. This is especially significant since it's a live album. The problem I have with most live albums is, the audience generally doesn't know when to shut the hell up. There are only two other live albums I can stand to listen to. Chuck Mangione: Live At The Hollywood Bowl, and Jackson Browne's Running On Empty. -

Getting closer......... -
I dunno, would seem to me, this smacks of backstabbing. If you can't say something to someone's 'face', then it's really not worth saying.

And, And, Didn't want you to think I was going to hit and run on this thread. :D--> Yes, I understand all of the above. My main thing is, at least we're still here to deal with the repercussions as opposed to the people in Asia.

Is the Devil the cause of the bad weather??

I guess it's a matter of not wanting to accept (usually, believers of whatever religion you care to name) that, .... HAPPENS. -
I don't know, I have a bit of trouble comparing this hurricane to the tsunami is Asia. In Asia, over 226 THOUSAND people lost their lives. Last count I heard, 80 (that's right, eighty) people lost their lives. Don't get me wrong, I'm not downplaying the loss of life. I'm just trying to add a little perspective here. Is it because it happened here it seems so much worse? Or that the tsunami happened to godless heathens somewhere on the other side of the world (as opposed to this God-fearing nation)?

Conversely, can you HONESTLY say a 'professed' Christian is going to post unbiased comments on what many "know and believe" to be truths from what they (Wiccans, Pagans, Mormons, ad nauseum) regard as holy texts? Seems to me, the purpose of religion is to tell the 'faithful' that people outside the group are the ones going to hell. Of course, they (the faithful) aren't, because they're the only ones on the planet who have the most 'rightly divided' word of God. I dunno, if God is that picky, I would probably rather spend eternity in the grave than what most call 'heaven'. -

What's your current belief-system?
TheManOfa Thousand ScreenNames replied to WordWolf's topic in Open
As I'm sure many would have guessed, I voted for agnosticism. I would really like to believe there is a 'God' personally interested in my well being. However, I just find it rather difficult to make that 'leap of faith'. Yep, I can agree with that. I'm crazy in all sorts of ways. Ask anyone. :D-->
