Nope.

Nope -- I got it in time. Saw Ed today, and he remembered you immediately. He called you the "memory monster", or something like that! Anyhoo -- he has your e-mail address. :)

Can anything good come out of Emporia??

Read it in 20 seconds. Didn't forward it though! ;)

I'll take your word for it.

Two birthday threads??? I guess that establishes THAT!!! Have a great one. :)

It's airing in here in southern Indiana too. I've seen parts of it before, but not the whole thing.

THIS PAGE SPECIFICALLY shows docvic's and leanord's works side-by-side should you care to take a look Lone Wolf. Go to the blue buttton labeled founder v p wierwille and click on that. Read what's written there. It should answer ALL questions. :)

Am wondering if that *haunting sound* from Mark's guitar, was an option, or did it come as standard equipment??? Either way -- he does it justice.

Glad you liked Shad! Here he is with Mike Snider. Mike is a regular on the Grand Old Opry. Shad isn't with him anymore, but his younger brother Jesse (mandolin picker) is. The Cobbs hail from Dairyland, Wisconsin -- 50 miles from here.

The title for that is Farther Along. :)

Hey -- Wait a minute! ChattyKathy is moving FROM Ohio, TO Florida. Does that mean she can vote twice??

Shad Cobb. One of my favorite fiddlers.Met him when he was 15 (about 20 years ago). He and I picked together many times. He's gone on to be one of the premier fiddlers in the US.He used to be a regular at the Opry, with several prestigious bands. One of the most humble people you will ever wish to meet.

Apology? Excie winked.

Kathy -- there is a *button* for UPLOADING VIDEOS on you tube. Haven't explored it myself, since I have no videos to do that with. From what I have seen -- one needs to register, and then go from there. It's probably as easy as PhotoBucket is. :)

Lifted Up -- I knew Ed back in 1975. He was in my twig in Bloomington, Indiana. He and Jim Mc*ee were music students at IU back then. If I recollect correct -- Ed played cello. He tried to play my fiddle one time, and couldn't get it -- because his fingers were coming *at him*, instead of *away from him*, to access the higher notes on the instrument. So he put my fiddle between his knees (as you would do with a cello), and played it beautifully!!! He's living in B-town, Indiana. (Nice house out in the country). About a year ago, I stopped by his house to say hi (haven't seen him in 30 years), but he wasn't there, though I did get to say hi to his wife. I'm headed for Indiana on Easter Sunday. If you want to say hi to him -- PM me with your name, and I'll pass the salutations to him. :) David
