Try N, N, and B. :) (Get ready to Google again!)

One of my cousins moved from the New Jersey area to New Hampshire. She has never regretted it, raising her family in peace and quiet. Although I have NO idea about living costs/ job opportunities there, it sounds (overall) idyllic and peaceful. *Old school* values -- if you will. And a word about cold weather ----- It's not that bad. Really. Minney-soda cold can be brutal, but even we get it for only about 3 months out of the year. And due to (cough!!) global warming -- hardly even that anymore! Cold weather can be enjoyed, rather than dreaded. I would rather have some cold, clear crisp days versus rain and drizzle and lack of sun. But that's just me. :) Click the Seal for info on New Hampshire -----

P.S. -- the ONLY QUESTION I've looked for help on yet, is that math one, where you have to type in the number, with NO multiple choice involved. Sometimes ---- I even surprise myself!! :)

The column of letters --- B E I L P (blank) W had the caption above--- "Which of these watches should fill the blank spot." Personally --am not sure about B, E, I, or L --- ; But P meant (to me) Pocket Watch; W meant Wrist Watch; so I chose to click on S, for Stop watch. I guessed correctly!

I think we've sent the Chinese more jobs than food. But that's just an imo.

Sudo --- YA BIG JERK, YOU!!! :biglaugh: Why weren't we warned to turn down/ off the speakers????????? That song opened the minute I clicked on this thread! Caused me to grind my teeth in agony. But maybe that was your intention? Are you taking your practice on the road?? :P

Hey there Dot. Bramble said it best, concerning towns and employment. Unless you're a professional (lawyer, doctor, etc.), the smaller towns will offer MUCH smaller paychecks, than the larger burgs do. Duluth is considered a *big* city (for Mn.), but the pay scale here is WAY lower than you will find in the Mpls/ St.Paul area. Of course -- they have the big city problems you're looking to get out of. Minnesota is not humid at all (in my area) and away from Lake Superior --- it's quite nice for 7 or 8 months out of the year. Humidity seems to be ever present in the south. At least in southern Indiana it is, so maybe heading west would be the answer??? Dunno. Lot's of good suggestions here ---------------------- (except for that corps assignment thing!!) thanks for the comic relief, Groucho! :biglaugh: Good luck in your decision. :)

Trust Safari to be the logical one here!! ;)

????? This quote was from the article ------ -
No, I'm not motivated by fear. It's kinda like Norm said on CHEERS --------->>>> "It's a dog-eat-dog world out there, and I'm wearing milk-bone undershorts". :)

Suda -- one was a *doh* face, rather than smiling. (upper right corner, if I recollect correct). click on that, and the word *doh* appears in the upper left corner of your screen. Move your cursor around in the lower left part of your screen. You'll find the missing *smiley*, and you can continue. :)

JOHNSON MOUNTAIN BOYS with HAZEL DICKENS (Eddie always did look *stiff* playing his fiddle)! :D
-
Aw shucks!!! I missed him too! :( I see Eddie Stubbs is the announcer tonight. Was your nephew interviewed by Eddie?? He was the fiddler for The Johnson Mountain Boys back in the early 80's. WITHOUT A DOUBT --- The Johnson Mountain Boys were the fastest Grass alive! Eddie is one of the more knowledgeable DJ's they have there at WSM. Always a pleasure to listen to. Perhaps WSM will put this in their archives. Hope so.

Hey Socks -- With ALL due respect ---- I'D RATHER LISTEN TO THIS STUFF INSTEAD. I think the second tune (entitled I Know You're Married, But I Love You Still), might be a more appropriate one to be sung from the stage I saw mentioned in your clip. ;)
