OK - - - getting back to the "groaner's": The Wisconsin Farmer: Paddy is passing by Mick's hay shed one day when through a gap in the door he sees Mick doing a slow and sensual striptease in front of an old red Massey Ferguson tractor. Buttocks clenched he performs a slow pirouette and gently slides off first the right welly, followed by the left. He hunches his shoulders forward an in a classic striptease move, lets his bib overall straps fall down from his shoulders to dangle by his hips over his corduroy trousers. Grabbing both sides of his check shirt he rips it apart to reveal his tea stained vest underneath and with a final flourish he hurls his flat cap on to a pile of hay. 'What on earth are you doing Mick' says Paddy. 'Jeez Paddy, ye frightened the livin bejasus out of me' says an obviously embarrassed Mick, 'but me and the Missus been having some trouble lately in the bedroom department, and the Therapist suggested I do something sexy to a tractor.' Atlas Shrugged was a novel written by Ayn Rand around 1957. It dealt with the "non-thinking" segment of society. It's a long read, but a good book. Waysider's remark was "spot on".

Belle - - - if you MUST know, we three were there until (about) 11 pm (if I recollect correct). Talked about any amount of things, then Shellon asked about my parents. I'd just recently received a video my brother made of Dad, riding around the house on the lawn mower. (First time Dad had been out of the house to "play" in a couple of years). So I sent the video to Shellon, and I think Bowtwi got jealous since all I heard was: "Where's MYYYYY copy of the video????????" So I had to send her a copy of it too. (Gotta keep "peace in da fambly, eh"?) Anyhoo - - - It's always a fun time in chat here at GSC. Kinda like the "old years" 5 (or however many years ago it was) that chat was a "happening place" nightly. I was missing my favorite internet Saturday night "radio" show/ chat room by being there, but it was worth it. I won't be in here until 7:30 PM (CST) or so, since I work until 7 PM on Saturdays. Dew_Drop_Inn if you get the chance.

What's changed?? Well - - - - - I'm supposing that the "Head Seat" at the dinner table doesn't look like this one anymore. (Giving the "knowing" nod to Mr. Ham for his "in depth spiritual perception"!)

That's down-right-purty! I'm jealous!

In honor of our own RumRunner for his birthday. Dooj said this was one of his favorites. Yea, I know I'm a few minutes late (date-wise) posting this, but it's the thought that counts, eh?. Ironic. The guy who ran the first class that I ever took was p!$$ed, because I already spoke in tongues. I made the mistake of telling him that the Catholic Charismatics taught me about it. No "trophy" for twi at session 12 with me.

It's just plain old "good sense" to keep the gas tank as full as possible, and not let it get to empty. And that doesn't even cover the "emergency" aspect of it. #1 - - - you're "ready to go" (Do I hear a Ted Ferrell song here?) #2 - - - empty (or low) gas in a gas tank causes condensation (water), and that ends up in your gasoline. #3 - - - water in your gas causes cr@ppy engine performance, so it takes a toll on your car, and you have to buy more gas. #4 - - - for the "Northland" folks , (Geo - - - You can relate to this one I'm sure, eh?) You need a full tank so you can keep your car engine (and car heater) running at 40 below zero, when you're shopping in the local grocery store in December, January, or February!!

I never heard of her until I heard her when she was promoting the U of L classes. Not sure if she was in charge of that area of "outreach courses" or not, but I do remember she did a lot of U of L "info-mercials" on the SNS tapes. If she was indeed a teacher in life before twi, i can hardly imagine her as either: inspiring OR motivated. Her very demeanor (talking about the U of L) invited NO feedback. Boring as could be, even though I was interested in (and did sign up for) the program. She repeated "party line", smiled a lot, and with her syrup southern drawl she talked and you listened. I can't imagine her being any different if (in fact) she was a teacher. Zebras don't change their spots. Or - - - was that saying suppozed to be - - leopards don't change their stripes? Regardless - - - she's a verbal paraplegic when it comes to motivational/ instructional teaching. If one could find a way to make a little pill of her speaking, It would be the best "sleep" medication ever. This is of course (as always) - - - - My Humble imo.

Steve is right. CES/STFI got into this BIG TIME. The "Prophetic" never was a twi thing.

Out on L.E.A.D. in 1985. Meals were skimpy at best. Several of us were hungry all the time. Time came for the "duo", and it was worse (fasting for the day), and all that other good BS. Done with the "duo", the meal was falafels when we all returned to "base camp". Either the staff screwed up and made too many, or it wasn't "palatable" for some there. I've always liked falafels, and so did a few others there. One guy (I don't remember his name now) commented that this was the first time he felt "full", since there was an "abundance" of food that night. I had to/ and did agree. The next day we learned that docvic had died, and we were hustled outta the woods and back to civilization. We were in the Black Hills of South Dakota (Rapid City), and the "gathering point" was the local mall. We were all driven back there to our cars (for those of us who'd driven), and the L.E.A.D staff said goodbye. Those who had hitched to L.E.A.D. along with those who had driven there, made a beeline for the burger joint. Money well spent!

Wow. I'm impressed! Neat medley you did there. I heard "Simple Gifts"/ "Ode to Joy", but what was the tune you started and then ended with? The name of it is right on the tip of my tongue, but I can't spit it out. Scottish fiddle tune, if I recollect correct. Not to detract from your picking, but here's Mr. Metronome (of the banjo) himself. Familia! Mmmmmm! Used to eat that all the time for breakfast. Started when I was on the WOW field, and kept it up for several years after that. Don't remember everything that went into it, but with apple juice poured all over it, it was a tasty breakfast (since we made our own), and didn't skimp on ingredients. Not sure what happened over the years. I guess I lost my "Familia spirit".

Every SNS tape I have, has no © on it. All "public domain" as far as I'm concerned.
