It's a wonderful thing to be accepting of another's way of thinking. But if refusal of your acceptance is evident and persistant --- A picture is worth a thousand words, in re-butt-al: (When I use this one -- I'm not subtle at all -- Nor do I care (at that point).

The law of believing-NO GOD NEEDED
dmiller replied to nyunknown's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
I have 7 frames of that class here at my house originally sent to me by twi. And (as I've stated before) -- I was never corps. In keeping with the topic of this thread I: A.) Didn't know it was available; B.) Didn't know what to do with it after I got it; C.) Definately wasn't BELIEVING for it; D.) (Can't-receive-something-if-it's-*availablity*-isn't-*known*-to-you) (so says docvic), E.) Yet I received it anyway. Gladly received at the time and put it in a picture frame (under glass). yet it's a *momento*of former times now, and NOTHING more. It came *out of the blue, via snail-mail. I neither asked, nor believed for it -- since I didn't know it was *available*. Yet I received it anyway. Whomever said you have to *believe to receive* is nuts. Folks get unexpected gifts and other things all the time. They're big, they're small, you like them, you don't -- and in this case (my 7 frames of film) ----------------- I never knew they were *rightly dividing* up the class!! Who'd a thunk it!!! -

Naw --not slow -- negligent maybe, but not slow. :) In between postings here at GSC -- I put up another bunch on a banjo board, and a fiddle board I belong to as well. I do have an (on-line life -- such as that may be), outside of GSC. -

Tell Ya what Bro -- I will if you will. Deal?? ;) For what it's worth -- I read the letter that Dr. Juedes wrote, and I'm seeing a LOT of misrepresentation from (some) folks here of what he said, and how it was meant to be read. talk about taking things out of context! Maybe I'm mixing you and Oldies up in the plethora of posts happening here ---- butt -- when you tell me to butt out, perhaps you should do the same, eh?? Pull your head out of it -- and smell some FRESH air for a change. You REALLY could use a different point of view. :) -

And why would I matter?? Docvic and his (cough!! cough!!) LAW of BELIEVING is what is being questioned here. Not what I think. :) -

Prayer means (simply), to ask. :) -
Singing those lyrics (would be akin) to singing that twi tune: *Washed in the Blood of the Wicked* (or whatever the title of that song was). I hate to use a line from docvic -- but it seems appropriate here: WHAT'S THE PROFIT??? (I'll leave it at that -- and you draw your own conclusions). :) (EFS -- edited for spelling)

Hey Psalmie --- Yer pies missed!! (But there's some REALLY mad sailors out on a salty anchored here in Lake Superior!!!!!) :realmad: Ya under-threw, missed my house, and hit them instead! Ya need to build up some STRENGTH in that there throwing arm. :) Try having a dailly breakfast like I do --- Ham and Eggs!! MMMM MMMMM GOOOOD!!! :P

Hey there DucTape. :) Actually -- he can't delete his and neither can we delete ours --- if it isn't done within (I think) 12 hour time frame. After 12 hours only the Admin team can do it. HA!!! That reminds me of one of our Lady posters here at GSC, who went shopping with the TV remote in her purse *sorta accidental-like/ on purpose*, since her husband wanted to stay home and watch TV! I forget who did that now, but it was hilarious when I read it here!!

Well -- (I know -- a deep subject for a shallow mind, and all that), your analogy about vineyards, and orchards is a good one. Some years you get a crop, other years you don't. Any farmer/ backyard gardener could tell you that. I DON'T have a mental block about this in the least. You neglected to attribute your above quote to a specific poster, So I'm guessing you are addressing either Dooj or Rascal. Regardless of whom --- I don't see a *mental block* with them either. Let's start the year I got in --- 1975 (Just for *grins*). 1975 1976 1977 1978 1979 1980 1981 1982 1983 1984 1985 --- docvic dies. WHICH one of those years has NO *incident* of docvic molesting women ?? Do you know?? I don't -- but I'm guessing that each and every one of those years are accounted for. (And that's given certain testimonies found here at GSC), and (correct) assumptions that HE DID NOT CHANGE HIS NATURE! Woops --did I say *nature*?? Shucks -- I meant *lifestyle*. ;) Then you could castigate me like you did Dooj, and continue to ignore the truth that is being said about the man. So --- Where's the room for the *Good Fruit*???? Seems (to me) the *seasonal* "no-crop-this-year" was a regular thing there where docvic presided. Ya know --- Matthew 13 talks about the Sower and the Seed. Out of the four instances there (seed, ground, thorns, etc.), I would have to say that docvic was the embodiement of 3 of them. And the one he WASN'T the embodiment of --- was the *Good Ground*. Bottom Line Is --- Docvic sowed more *bad seed* than *good seed*. :(

Psalmie --- THAT ---WAS --- POWERFUL!!!! :eusa_clap: The 5 minutes and 54 seconds it lasted put twi and aos to shame. I don't relate to *dance* productions (they're usually way over my head), but this one had the *message* right there, right away, and it made sense. Thank you. Performing arts CAN teach the Word and life's struggles. :)

Hey there dougWS Welcome to GreaseSpot. First cup of coffee is on me. :) You picked an interesting thread, for your first post! Regardless of that -- Welcome!

I remember a comment made (10 years ago), by someone on a radio show about this. Mother Theresa died (10 years ago) on Sept. 5th, just a few days after Lady Di did. She lived longer and had a more productive life, than Lady Di did. Lady Di lived her lifestyle, and Mother Theresa lived hers. NOT dissing Lady Di at all, but I have to wonder ---- Will Mother Theresa receive the same accolades this next Wednesday???? Which (of the two) made a *REAL difference* in this world? Again -- NOT dissing Lady Di, but (imo) she was just another celebrity. I never saw the Papporazi (sp?) folowing MT around, like they did her. Tributes to the dead are ALWAYS good. Honour is a respectful thing. I hope there are a few for MT on the 5th of September.
