Congrats ex70's. :)

I may not be coming. Dad fainted, took a nasty tumble in the kitchen, and is hospitalized. We have no idea how long he will be there. My bro Evan is flying in from Texas tomorrow to be here too. Mom is worn out, and I won't be leaving here anytime soon. If I need to stay here past Thursday, I will not be there at the BBQ. I'll log back on in a couple of days, and let you know. David

Tom --- South-East to Indiana --- then West to Texas. ;)

Thanks WhiteDove. Well there ya have it ----- Docvic said it -- I believe it -- (woops -- that doesn't belong in there!!!) THAT SETTLES IT! ;) I agree with his statement 100%. Too bad the *fine folks* at hdqtrs are too busy protecting the name they think they *own*, instead of heeding what the founding prez said -- albeit long ago. I guess they are too busy protecting the shell that has protected them, fed them, clothed them, and enriched them -- instead of really being the *teaching, research, and fellowship ministry* they purport to be. David

Awww -- just bring the thing inside, and whatever's left in there, let them come out. I hear they make GREAT pets!!

Where's the party??? Happy Birthday!

Thanks one and all. :) (Lifted -- you owe me some screen cleaner!!!) And remember --- Bluegrass --- Not just for breakfast anymore!! Thanks again eveyone! ;) David

Oldies -- you said (NOT a personal attack -- just quoting your words here) -- So --- let me get this straight. You condone docvic's sexual *prowess*, yet condemn his use of drugs in it??? Am I getting that right??? What are your thoughts about Mrs. Wierwille during all of this??? Does she enter into the picture since she was MARRIED to the MOG ???? And WHERE (in our culture today) does a minister of the Gospel, get away with adultery, pornography, or even *playing around* on his WIFE??? You've reached new heights of irrationality -- and NO I'm not *whining* as you said before. Fer crying out loud --- dont'cha think Billy Graham had *women flocking to him*?? He had both the decency and personal integrity to NEVER BE ALONE WITH A WOMAN, either in his office, an elevator, or any other inconspicuious place without someone else there. Nother words -- he (BG) held himself accountable, which is more than docvic ever did. Plain and simple -- docvic gave in to the temptations offered, whereas Billy Graham did not. That right there tells me which of the two was a REAL MOG. And as to your *fantacizing* comment about men with young women --- I don't. And I am neither a liar nor homosexual (call a spade a spade, gay means happy), when it comes to this subject. You're supposing things that may exist in your world, but not neccesarily in others. You've got problems, bud -- if you can accept what you said as truth. There are so many inconsistencies (in your post #350) conflicting with REAL life, that the original word *scary* is starting to make sense. Please seek help -- even though I know you feel you are *above* it all, seek it out anyway. Given what you've said - It's a needful thing, if you truely meant it. David

Here ya go Chef ------ And Oldies answer is -------- Woops -- Waysider beat me to it.

No different that the movie stars on the left coast. Why do folks pay attention to movie ratings??? Or what the actors think and espouse?? Both are ridiculous examples of adoration. Now ---banjo pickers ---------- :D :)

Hiya Vickles. How are you doing (these days)?? Once I broke that up into paragraphs -- it was read-able. Good stuff!! (although my old eyes took a beating *reading it in the original!!) David

I don't think you know the meaning of what you just said, Oldies. Debate on a higher level + Oldies = the ultimate oxymoron. I just now read through (most) of this thread -- and your comments sicken me! You're dissing just about every person (except WTH and John/ Jean) here. Being a *semantic athlete*, and gyrating through the questions asked point blank -- without giving a definitive answer. Ya wearing rainbow spandex????? Oldies (Phil) -- When are ya gonna get yer head outta yer rear end??? What the hell did you do with the material I sent you about twi??????? I don't even remember all the documents I sent you, but you requested them, and I sent them all your way for you to look at. And I paid for the copies and shipping. And the stuff I sent you was from those *in the know*. I know you got them. What did ya do with them?? Use them for toilet paper?? And it was all about stuff happening during the POP years, and before. You got the info you requested, and (given your posts currently), you must've ignored, thrown out, or wiped yer @$$ with them ---- because you obviously didn't READ them. For (willing) ignorance --- I give you a 15 on the 1 to 10 scale. For (willing) acceptance of what others have to say ---- You get a -5 on a 1 to 10 scale. You REALLY need to remove the head, and smell some fresh air once in a while. I (for one) would be pleased if you did. . . . . . Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! Scuze me! It's Friday! Yer gonna be busy doing whatever. Have a nice weekend. David

Just as there is no *I* in team ------- There is no *P* in BBQ!!!!!! ;)

We've all heard docvic (well -- a lot of us have heard docvic) recite this poem. The Touch Of The Master's Hand -- supposedly by an anonymous author. Here's the poem, for those who haven't heard it, or would like to read it again: We were talking about this poem on another website and one of my banjo-picking buddies (a music teacher in Florida), posted the following when the *anonymous* author issue was brought up. For the first time (tonight) I heard the story behind the poem, and thought you all might enjoy it as well. :) (Yes -- I did check SNOPES, but found nothing). Seems Myra Brooks Welch is a well-known poet with many poignant poems to her name, including this one. Here is a snippet of the history of the author of Touched By The Master's Hand. Enjoy. From the BHO posting ------->>>>> I (for one) learned something new tonight. David

I guess naked rules, eh??? ;)

Hey! Congrats!!! Way to persevere! (Too bad you didn't have that Black Belt back in 2002 at the Weenie Roast! You could have kept that pesky park ranger at bay, while ***** and all the others could hide the beer ---- instead of having to pour it out!!)

Waysider -- I agree 100%. Since docvic claims that speaking in tongues was NOT AVAILABLE, until the day of Pentecost ---- HOW'S COME (sorry -- I just HAD to say that), rev was received, and given to the OT prophets?? Or even Jesus (for that matter??) According to the *word of docvic -- it just couldn't be. The AC syllabus seems to be fraught with error, eh? ;)

I can't see the image (mentioned above), and tried to edit the previous post. Since I couldn't do either -- It MUST be God's will for me to avoid this thread, eh??? ;)
