    Song of the moment

Aly Bain, Russ Barenberg, and Jerry Douglas. The Transatlantic Sessions. St. Anne's Reel.
  7. Hey there Twinky. No -- I did NOT know about all that was happening at headquarters. What I was referring to was the actions of some in the area here, with the *blessing* of hdqtrs. I learned the full scope of what was going on from a couple of friends of mine (both now deceased), Mike and Jane Moody from Indiana, who passed on to me some *sensitive* stuff about it all. What they passed on to me, was received with scepticism in this area (Minnesota). But the actions of some of the locals here (at that time), seemed to augement the accusations. It was a sad time. Everything that we thought was good, profitable, and worthy of teaching to others suddenly came crashing down like a house built on the shifting sand, or a house built of cards --- take your pick. :( The info passed on to me ultimately turned out to be true, and it invoked and accused the highest leaders in twi --- with NO apologies --- SINCE TRUTH NEEDS NO DEFENSE!! Geer has a god. His name is docvic. He did eveything he could to protect his god. The POP was a result of that. It was NEVER docvic's fault ---->>> the *fault* lay on everyone else for (COUGH!!!) incorrect *believing*, or whatever (convinient/ biblical) excuse they could come up with. I remeber the first time I read the POP, and also the Adutery paper by John Schoenheit. POP was *required* reading. Reading the Adultery Paper got you *possessed*. What a Gawd-dammmed-screwed-up-head-up-the-butt-"ministry" twi is!!!! They should be in the Guinness World Book of Records ----->>> for the ULTIMATE freak show (now showing) on planet earth. I hope I explained my earlier post to your satisfaction. :)
  8. I guess Mr. Mark Heard plans on being left behind if he can send those e-mails? Or maybe (perhaps) cyber-space takes on a whole new meaning, eh ??!! ;) Ironic that financial info is more important to share, than salvation. Ah well --- Nothing new under the sun. (edited to fix the link)
  9. Personally --- I love fast food joints. Do I eat there??? No. Do I take advantage of them??? Yes. Next to the CB radio and the 1/2 gallon thermos for coffee, they help speed up highway travel faster than anything I know. Say you're out on the highway, and you have to use the bathroom. One exit ahead --- there's a McDonald's (i.e. --- read public bathroom). I'll be there in the right lane getting ready to exit. Each and every McDonald's has the bathroom in the same exact place. so do Hardees, and Arby's, and a muliplicity (sowwy!) of other franchises. And you don't have to buy anything to go in and use it! Occasionally I consider buying their food. Usually I just use *the facilities*! ;)
  10. Assuming there is such a thing as *global warming*; and assuming it is caused by man burning fossil fuels; I suggest the following solution to the predicament. Tell all those high living liberals who fly all around the world in their private jets, to park the damn things, and get a bicycle instead!! I'm REALLY getting tired of others telling ME what to do,' and then the know-it-all-fugg-tards doing the opposite of what they preach. Can I call them docvic, and get away with it?? Same thing, eh??? Preach one thing. Practice another. Nothing new under the sun.

    Song of the moment

Oliver Schroer is a Canadian treasure, and is dying of Leukemia. His last public performance will be today. You can hear him fiddle here. This song needs no other instruments. It's perfect, as is.
  12. RR --- your wish is my comand. Consider it done.
  13. Hap --- let it go. You and I will never agree about this, OK???? I disagree with RumRunner too. And --- my thinking will never match up with yours (or his), concerning envirionmental stuff. I see a whole lot of "liberal" spin to this whole issue. Maybe you don't, but I do. You and I are about the same age. I remember VIVIDLY being taught about "global cooling", back in the 1960's in high school. Perhaps you had the same lessons. I was being facetious (tongue in cheek if you will) about this year, and the blossoms on the one tree in my back yard that should have bloomed at least a month ago, but didn't. Even some of the local radio station folks were commenting on the *Late Summer* this year. You know --- there is (many times) here in Duluth a 30 degree difference in temperature from my place down here by the shore of Lake Superior, and up over the hill. It can be (and frequently is) somewhere around 65 degrees here at my house, and 4 miles away (over the hill by the airport) it is 90 degrees, the same day. Yea -- I understand that discussions go on all over the world. So what?? Honestly? Every last discussion is "slanted" (the same as this one here), and I have to ask: What's accomplished by it?? Nothing. More rhetoric given the participant's viewpoint. Nothing more, nothing less. Just like your's and my viewpoints on this subject. So --- ignore anything I had to say. I guess my opinion's (observations) don't count. Sorry I interrupted your posting time, by saying what I did.
  14. For what it is worth -- today is the second of June, 2008. I've got a flowering crab tree in the back yard, and just today, it started to sprout flowers outside of the leaves. Global warming?? BS. (edited to correct spelling --- yea I care about that stuff!)
  15. Hey there Jeff. I do remember (back in the early 1980's) local folks discussing who might be *unfaithful* to a spouse, and no -- they weren't talking *idolatry* when they were discussing the issue at hand. They were discussing who was and who was NOT faithful to their mariage commitment, because that seemed to impact the local fellowship. "Spiritual" never entered the discussion. It was black and white. Right or wrong. Once the wholesale "indiscretions" of the BOD, etc, became public knowledge, the general *wrath* of the main believer populace was hard to contain. Everything that was taught to us (via tapes, teachings, etc., from New Knoxville), was the EXACT opposite of what was going on behind the scenes there where the teachings emanated from. Folks I knew here were outraged that the BOD, docvic, lcm, etc., could use those "glib" explanations to (seemingly) satisfy their own perversions, and rationalize them away to the rest of us, while mandating something else entirely. There wasn't ONE person in my area (back in the early 1980's), who was comfortable with one married person getting together (sexually) with anyone other than their spouse. When the $h!t hit the fan about all the *sexual liberty* that was going on at hdqtrs among top leadership, and being *excused* because it wasn't what *the Word said*, there was a bunch of p!$$ed of folks here in town who felt that one thing got preached, and another thing got practiced. Personally --- I think the POP was a *Gear* compositiion, written with NO witnesses, and while touting docvic as the author (with *Gear*) writing it all down, it was meant to bamboozle, pull the wool over the eyes of, and generally lead the *faithful* into another holding pen for the sheep meant for the slaughter. If you have any info different than that --- I'd be pleased to see it. *Gear* seems to have (at that time) manipulated things QUITE WELL so that he and his personal wishes were served admirably.

    Happy B, A la p

Hopefully -- I post this on the correct thread this time. <_< Paw -- it really SUCKS to NOT be able to delete an honest mistake. I really wish you would change a few things (as asked for in your poll) a while back about deleting, and editing posts. Just my imo, but I'm not the only one who feels this way. Ala -- this is for you ----- >>> My creativity is waning, so I'll re-post this from last year's birthday. Here's hoping the past year has been kind to you. :) Let's all raise our glass, to a favorite Lass, Who's birthday it is today. A la prochaine, who rarely complains, and though Canadian, never says *eh?*. So lift up your grog, for our dancing frog, And quote some thoughtful line, About beauty or years, or laughter and tears, but end up with *til the next time *. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ALA. :)

There's a Space Cowboy/Joker who will Take The Money and Run, on a Jet Airliner. while singing: .Sorry --- I thought this Steve Miller tune was a popular song. I guess not. Someone else take over from here.
  23. Hmmmm. I thought this was a popular song. It is in my musical circle. Not wishing to tie up this thread --- I'll give it another day, then throw it open for whomever. :)
