  1. Digi -- am looking at "raising" my truck too. :)--> and yes -- it is a need! :D-->
  2. Shaz -- absolutely! Actually, there was a hang-up that occurred, and I had no heat until November 1st. :(--> That may not be a big deal to others, in warmer climes, but when I came home from work, and it was 45 degrees in the house, I did not even want to stay here. Getting a loan for the furnace was a top priority, and to h*ll with what might be promoted as far as "no loans"! I'd have loved to see RR and the BOT here in my house (with no extra cash), and putting up with those temps. :D--> Bet they would have done something about it! -->
  3. and I agree with NIKA --- Here's a big HOW YA DOING??!! from Minnesota! :)-->
  4. John Linder? --> --> --> Is he important, or something? Sudo -- would that it were so! :D-->
  5. Rascal -- picked this up from page 14 ---- :)--> Shall I practice?? Banjo, fiddle, and mandolin are always with me when I travel. I would be glad to "pick" for this scenario, should it occur again! :D-->
  6. Sudo -- thanks! will do. :)--> Paw -- figured I could bring the machine, and water, and Hawk "could do his thing", to make it proper and fitting, for the reunion. That way we would have a "community spigot" of "Hawked" water. :D-->
  7. Fellowshipper -- sorry I'm a day late! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Nice plane! Who are you "dive-bombing"? TWI? :D--> ;)--> ;)--> :D-->
  8. How many folks are actually coming to this? --> How many were there last year? I have a water cooler, with 5 gallon bottles that sit on top of it. I could visit the artesian wells in Wisconsin to fill them, and Hawk could do whatever he wants to the water! :D--> :D--> :D--> How many 5 gallon jugs do I need to bring?? ;)-->
  9. True. I get off work at 8 pm (central time), and when I get home, the room has quite a few people there.
  10. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIM!!!!!!!! Here's hoping you have a great one. :)--> High winds, fog, and rain are rolling in from Lake Superior right now. :(--> I'd rather be outta here, and wherever you are, to help you celebrate. Got sunshine? ;)-->
  11. Another way myth (prevelant in the late '70's, and early '80's) was --- "Leave an open bible (turned to Ephesians) on a coffee table. No devil spirits will DARE enter your house." --> --> --> --> -->
  12. Hiya Roy!! :)--> :)--> You make some good "fear factors" there, but they never got to me (tho I am sure they did to others). When they told me my corps sponsorship for others, could NOT be counted as ABS, I told them they had the B*S* part right! :D--> After THAT line was fed to me, I beleived less and less of what they said, and questioned more and more of what they HAD said. To make a long story short -- they were found wanting. Very wanting,and with no answers suitable. So those "fear" things to me, never ever struck home, cause I knew they weren't true. :)--> Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones. Am wishing there were more, who see it the same way. :(-->
  13. Oak -- great point! :)--> I own my house, and my truck, but would not hesitate to "go into debt" should either need to be fixed, if I did not have the "means". Actually, I did that last August. I borrowed money for a new furnace for my house, since my old one "gave up the ghost". So now I have a "payment", but big deal. This last winter, I was warm. And to me -- that was what counted. :)-->
  14. I don't "do" movies. This re-enforces my choice. :)--> Thanks! The last movie I saw at a theater was "3 Men and a Baby" (I think that was the title). I was on a date, and she chose what we were going to see. How long ago did THAT ONE come out????? --> I refuse to support Hollywood. Good to know I made a decision that is still relevant, today.
  15. Cindy! -- is it out of reach of the Cindy!ettes?? (chinettes)? :D-->
  16. Zix -- yer taking the fun out of it. :(--> :(--> :(--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> Lordy, lordy -- You should have been on that "millionaire" show, and asked them the questions, to see how smart they were!! Now -- a serious question -- What is the best way to store a banjo??!! :D--> :D-->
  17. FURRY FREAK BROTHERS --- Boy does that bring back memories!! :)--> :D--> :D--> :)-->
  18. I've heard stories like this in my time too. Usually told AT TWIG, by the TWIG LEADER, just before THE TEACHING. --> Kinda like a "pep" rally.
  19. Am stashing away $$$ already for the trip. Who knows what the price of gasoline will be by then. -->
  20. Rascal -- I MAY have topper for my old Dodge truck by then. "Hotel" Dodge, as it were!!! :P--> I'll be sleeping in the back. (after all -- it is a "truck bed" -- right??
  21. I couldn't get in either. :(--> I gave up after 5 minutes of seeing "connecting", and having no "connection' happening.
  22. chinson -- whoops!!! CINDY! ;)--> I like the name change!!
  23. MO -- I hear that. :(--> :(--> :(--> Too true. -->
  24. born of wrong seed?? --- ANYONE with TALENT who was not in twi. :(--> :(--> :(--> But ---- if they took the class ------ voila!! they were redeemed, and got center stage at the ROA!! -->
