Tom -- Ha! :D--> The only tip I had was the "way brand" thing. Wonder what kind of "payment" the man received , and how willing he was to give it up. -->
-
That would be typical for a man from "OKIO".

My small contribution to the GSCafe "menu". :)-->

This is really the only MUST part of this recipe. The consistancy changes like you wouldn't believe, and is the "basis" for this here! ;)-->
-
The only hard part about this recipe -- is the waiting 8 hours for it to be done!!!

Here goes -- Banana Split Dessert: Crust: 2 cups graham cracker crumbs 1 stick margarine Melt the margarine and mix with crumbs, and press this mixture into the bottom of 9X13 cakepan. chill in the fridge while making the filling. Filling: 2 eggs 2 sticks margarine 1 tsp vanilla 2 cups powdered sugar Now -------------------------------- BEAT AT HIGHEST SPEED OF MIXER FOR 15 MINUTES this is a must!!! spread filling over chilled crust cover with a layer of sliced bananas cover layer of bananas with one 8 oz carton of cool whip garnish with Marachino cherries (chopped) drizzle with Hershey's choc. syrup Add a sprinkle of chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or "party peanuts" -- NOT dry roasted) on top, and refridgerate overite, or at least 8 hours. Adding a can of strawberry pie filling (in dollops) to the top finishes the "garnishing" effect. :)--> :)--> :)-->

WB -- that is a good recipe. :)--> give me some time, and I'll post the banana split thing. It really is a good one, and easy to do, since I can do it!!

WB --- whewwww!!!! (wiping brow). Thought I would get slapped for that one for sure. :)-->

or perhaps you were looking for "THE SOUNDS OF SILENCE"!! :D--> ps -- my favourite by them was "I Am An Island", if that is the correct name of that song. "The Boxer" is right up there too. Where did the "good old days" go?? -->

--> --> --> Wasn't that a line from Jerry Rubin instead of Simon and Garfunkel? :D--> :P--> :D--> :P--> :D-->

Tom -- save yer $$$, and have a good time!!

:D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> Cutting edge commentary, and caffine!! For "stomach upset" take two aspirin with a glass of pear water and you'll be fine in the morning! :)-->

Now that I think about it -- This all happened around the time Gunnison got into the "fast track". What year was that anyway? --> At least I think this is the time the WAY brand showed up. With a Western "root locale", they needed something "western" to identify it by.
-
--> --> --> This reminds me of when they aquired the "WAY BRAND" from some rancher out West. Can't duplicate the "brand" here, but you all must remember it -- WAY all integrated into the "W" with a circle around it. (Supposedly) some rancher out West had that as his "brand", and once vpw heard of it, he just "had to have it" Likewise (supposedly), "said rancher" was paid handsomely for the privilidge of giving it up to someone who could really use it. I remember vpw trotting this thing out on stage at the ROA,and making a really big deal of it. Don't remember the year, but I do remember the event, and as I said -- "supposedly". I did not question the MOG in those days. -->

Me too CKnapp, yet I do not eliminate the fact that they could, and do take place. Big tent revivals, high profile TV "evangelists", etc, etc, are suspect immediately. Anything that happens outside of the "spotlight", garnering no attention except to the immediate participants -- those I would choose to not question. But then again -- if it garnered no attention, I'd never hear of it. :)-->
