Does anyone have any questions for TWI leadership?
dmiller replied to gladtobeout's topic in About The Way
Thanks!! :)--> -
Yes. I am much more "reflective" now about all things. And though I will "open up" to complete strangers about myself, I agree with Bramble -- I have no friends with a capital "F".

About 8 years ago, I did something really stupid, got caught, and needed immediate help, and had no one to call on (so I thought). I was really agonizing over it in prayer, confessing to Father and asking for help. I looked out the window, and literally "saw" the name of a friend over my back yard. I am not joking, it was there. I called him up, met with him, confessed, we prayed, and he helped pull me out of the situation I was in. God honors honest prayer always, no matter who taught you what, or when. I never worried about twi during that situation. I was thankful for the deliverance.

Will TWI and CFF re-unite now that their differences are gone?

CFF?? Heard of them, but am not sure who they are. --> -
And to add to what WhiteDove said, prayer simply means "to ask". IMHO if you ask for something, you are expecting an answer, or else they are empty words, and not sincere. I am guessing you were VERY sincere when you prayed for her -- witness the result. :)--> Just because docvic and twi taught these things doesn't mean that the concept of ministering healing is "junk bible". She pulled you aside, right?? Ever stop to think that perhaps God told her to do so? She must have been praying (asking) previously, and got your name as an answer. God knew your heart, reguardless of twi "upbringing". :)-->

In a sense -- yes. However, I can easily say, that I feel like I know everyone here much more than I would the "average Joe". Maybe not a "true" friendship, however when I meet "so-and-so" "face to face", I will feel like I already know them from the thoughts they have posted. And that is a huge advantage. (IMHO) :)-->

Glad2B -- last time I was on their site, they had NOTHING to offer for sale. NOTHING is what rocks dream about. Aristotle -
I find food where I can get it, and it usually is NOT at home! B/K's slogan of "Home of the Whopper" was started here in Duluth, Mn. by Nick Patronas, who sold the slogan to B/K, and made a pile of money in doing so. (At the time, he had a restaraunt called "Nick's", and the sign over the door said "Home of the Whopper"). He was approached by B/K with an offer to buy the slogan. He accepted, and the rest is history. Nick has 5 or 6 B/K restaraunts in the area, and given the "time's are a'changing" "rhetoric" happening these days, he offered more than "just burgers" when the public demanded it. Don't know if he came up with the change on his own, or if it was "mandated" by B/K headquarters (after he sold the slogan), but it makes sense. He has (since) promoted his B/K restaraunts, as a "family" place, and "not just a burger joint". Chicken makes sense. Wonder if meatloaf is on the menu next?? :D-->
